Current Research and Development Projects

For simple purposes I have broken down the message into several different parts. The Top Research and Development and the low research and development, which will take your password to open the files. As always we have been working round the clock to find the newest technology and our main opponent, ARC, is more tenacious than ever.
-Top Research and Development-

==Bladed Technology==
While most of the bladed weapons are made obsolete to many today, because of energy and projectile weapons. But many more still use it, like the natives of Aram or Haruun Kal. So with them in mind we have been developing a special sword and knife. It is made from the Basiliskan's special war droids that, according to my record, are made with a material that is stronger than most known materials. While testing it against a lightsaber, it took a moment for the bladed to be cut through, meaning there is something in the metal that disperses or sucks in energy. More testing required on this subject. Status: In Development.
==Ranged Technology==
The blaster weapons that are made today are effective but, in my opinion, need to be made stronger. So I have created a "mushroom" that allows the normal "blaster round" to fire, then hit the "mushroom maker", which causes the round to get larger and more powerful. Unfortunately the upgrade is costly, unwieldy, most likely not going to be in use to the larger population because of the slight problem. Through research on the mushroom maker, we have found that it could wear down fast or slower but when it reaches a certain point that the round goes "backwards" and explodes catastrophically, blowing up everything within a ten metre area. We are still fixing the kinks out and soon we may have a reloadable mushroom maker that has a "usage counter" on it. Status: In Development.
UPDATE: The mushroom maker now includes a usage counter, though the weapon still is unwieldy at the moment. The primary objective now is to downsize the attachment to a more convenient size. Status: In Development.
Also through research into the slugthrowers, we have been able to create a pistol and rifle, that sends out highly volatile shells at a high rate of fire. Normally this is nothing new, but the shells are the size of a normal human's fist and can easily break through medium armor in seconds. We have been able to put in acid, poison, and other chemicals to increase the damage these shells do. The problem is that if the shells are dropped to the ground too hard, it will explode and cause some damage to rifle and or user. We have been fixing it up by creating shock absorbers in the weapons which should eliminate this problem. Status: In Development.
UPDATE: The shock absorbers have been created, though they are not yet perfected: there is still the possibility that the shock absorber either does not activate, or does not efficiently absorb enough of the treatment to prevent detonation. They are also costly. More research is needed. Status: In Development (prototype available).
Finally we have created a highly flammable chemical that lasts for hours long. When put inside the flamethrower we developed, it was able to melt through the side of a main battle tank with ease. Although I would not recommend for anything besides close combat because of it's difficulty to aim, it has become quite a success and through several small tests including those with hired mercenaries that disappeared, I recommend we begin to sell these on a open market. Status: Open for purchase by military groups, Alsakan Union excluded.
-----Commercial/Military Vehicles-----
==Weaponry For Vehicles==
We have been make a turret which, when attached to most vehicles, sends out rapid firing lasers. But do to the rate at which is fires, the metal barrel has been melting. So we hope that by introducing the special Basiliskan metal it should help stop this problem. Status: In Development.
UPDATE: The size of the barrel has been increased, to accommodate more chambers to split the heat between the munitions, and built with the Basiliskan metal, and has greatly improved. The weapon still needs to be tested in terms of efficiency and for possible malfunctions. Status: Prototype Available.
We have also created mechanical "arms" that have a flamethrower, a chainsaw, and pretty much whatever we want to put on them. Of course these arms take an absurd amount of energy so must only be used in slightly larger transports or tanks, else they fail. Status: Stored for potential use.
==Vehicle Modifications==
We have been able to modify vehicles to have a larger power supply, which give it more speed and the ability to fire strong projectiles out of a forward turret at the same time without any problems. Of course, because of the larger engine and ammo for the turret, the crew compartment is very close together, so anyone afraid of small places should not get in. There is also a problem with the armor. The area around the larger engine is not as heavily armored because of spacing issue. While we could just add on a extra ton of armor to the rear, that would be a balance issue and would be hard to drive. We are currently attempting a smaller, even more powerful, engine type. When we have reached success I will immediately contact you. Status: In Development.
==New Models==
We have taken your basic Corellian Speeder, with a three x turbine engine, and taken it down to the very small nuts and bolts. Using our wide resources, we have made a entirely new model of vehicle. It uses the engine mentioned in the above article, and our tests on it have shown a improved performance over other leading Speeder producers. It lasts longer, goes faster, and can be used for far more things than other speeders. I recommend selling this speeder at a high price, and then dramatically drop the price, so our contenders have to work hard to make better models, which could lead them to bankruptcy. Status: Selling on commercial market under the name IC-S01.

==Fighter/Bomber Overview==
We have created a new fighter, which by using Basiliskan metals and the experimental engine Xvt3GH mentioned above, that can easily outmatch fighters used by the Alsakans. The Basiliskan metals provide it with sturdier armor, while Xvt3GH gives it the extra boost of power to help it fly faster in dogfights against enemy aircraft. When used against pirates using everyday fighters, common to both Republic and Alsakan forces, the Kill/Death Ratio was 7/1 (with moderately experienced fighters). But I think with the improvements we can make to it's weaponry, we could increase it to the phenomenal ratio of 20/1. Status: In Development (prototype available).
Although the biggest problem we have had so far is the massive G-Forces that have happened in the fighters. Without the GDT Flight Suit (mentioned below), pilots' will constantly bleed out of the open holes in the bodies (nostrils, eyes, ears, mouths, and other porifices). The Op-G machine we have created and is now in testing should counteract the g-forces that happens in dogfights. This concludes the Fighter/Bomber Overview.
==Commercial Ship Overview==
We have the Efron Freighter system, that is able to have almost any modification happen to it. This is why numerous smugglers have been found using the Efron Freighter System we created. Now I have found a way to stop smugglers from using it. Put in a system designed specially to find illegal substances. Don't include it on the specs but when it finds any amount of the illegal substance it immediately stops the engines and locks the pilot area down. It then gives out a signal that the nearest Republic ship will answer. The smugglers will then be caught and tried. We could also sell this system stand alone so people can add it to any ship they want. Status: Stored for potential use.
We have also developed another ship system, a Companion Square Yacht. It is a larger ship than the Efron Freighter and can hold lots more things. It has a state of the art navigation system that track almost any commercial vehicle that is tagged. Also using more secretive technology we have been able to make the yacht seem "empty" radar and only visual and high powered sensors can see what's inside. Makes it good for thing most likely illegal. Status: Exclusive usage by Icehart Corp, under name ICY "Halcyon" Yacht.

==Poisons and Effects==
We have been creating new poisons and what effects they have on different species. So far for the experimental poison C0GhB, species tested have included Kiffar, Human, Anzat, Hutt, Trandoshan, and a nasty case of Wookiee. The Kiffar, Humans, and Hutt were the quickest affected, and suffered a painful case of paralysis before being ate from the inside out by "living" acid inside the poison complex. The trandoshan was next, but did not suffer paralysis, he was able to run around. Unfortunately he did not completely die like the others, and he committed suicide (we must study more trandoshan anatomy to see what is stopping the paralysis from taking place). The Wookiee suffered paralysis for a short time then was able to strangle one of my assistants that got too close. The Wookiee then had a seizure and died from a blood vessel bursting in it's head. As always we welcome new races to test on. Status: In Development.
==Biological Weapons==
Though illegal I have begun to study the usage of biological warfare. I have found a compound native only to a strange spice, that when mixed with the chemical Afradasicoa, emits a gas that causes those affected to hallucinate and kill those around them. This could be a useful tool against enemies who doesn't have a good ventilation system. Currently doing more research into how long it lasts in the air, what type of environment it is most effective in, and what species are effected the quickest. Status: In Development.
