Well, I just found out that I am tired of people having the idea that being a Mando means that you should go *phew phew for honor and glory* so I decided to make this little thread to inform everyone that the Mando's you are familiar with changed before the clone wars. So technically there was a culture shift in the Mandalorian society (according to wookieepedia)
Also during the clone wars the Mandos were a peaceful society that tried to avoid fighting and they were ruled by a female duchess rather than a Mandalore. Of course that was all changed when Bobba Fett came to power, but still according to my information Bobba Fett turned the Mandalorians into a mercenary faction that fought as soldiers for whoever paid them.
However even during Bobba Fett's rule the Mandalorians came to realize that fighting is always not the best option after they experienced great losses during the Vong war.
I am not saying the Mandalorians do not follow an honor code or anything but what I am saying is that there has been a culture change for the Mandalorian society over time and that just like the Jedi order they are not as Orthodox as they used to be. Of course this is one of the reasons why the group known as the death watch( Mandalorians who follow the old way) has been fighting the other Mandalorians for a long time.
Cheers!!!

"No Mandalorian soldier should have to fight an aruetii's war for the price of a day's food. No Mando'ad should have to fight at all, except to defend Manda'yaim, his home, or his family, or because he wants to. We have to stop being the tool of governments that don't care if we live or die so long as we do their bidding."
―Kad'ika, also known as Venku Skirata, addressing a gathering of clan leaders
