The Sith are progress, a representation of evolution. The Jedi are a representation of stagnation. The Republic always rots from within.

Ones emotions are meant to be controlled not completely denied. This is why the Sith have far more raw strength in the force than the Jedi.

The reason I prefer the Sith is that unlike the Jedi they do not deny the entirety of the natures. Or humanity for lack of a better word.
