got a theme?

Theme? What do you mean by that? Like, exploration, research, combat? Basically all of them, with each event having a different theme. Once the ship write-up is done (it might take a few days), I'll get to the "faction" description. ^_^

I just realized what you meant. It's a ship that is devoted to hosting a crew of people seeking a better life, or a life of power, or a life of wealth, within a close knit community doing jobs around the Galaxy. They are also devoted to making a name for themselves, and funding their endeavors, and it will be pretty cool :P

well thats too vague. Is it a merchant party, Mercenaries? an organization? a cult? specify.

It's an organization devoted to striking out on their own, with the occasional mercenary or merchant job taken up ^_^ They do a lot of things, but mostly they work around the galaxy and live in their ship. Think something like what a Star Trek ship would be, multi-purpose w/each "episode" bringing about something new for it's crew.
