So, the first presidential debate of this year's season has just come and gone, and wow was it a doozy. A spectacular farce of monumental proportions that left me crying with tears of joy at the pure absurdity. I loved every second of it.

I'll update this post with a link to the video once he full recording comes online. Until then, here's a full transcript with annotations marking facts from both sides, confirming or denying them.

EDIT: Here's the clip

What did you guys think?

It was a complete shitshow.

Donald looked like a total buffoon up there. Clinton mopped the arena with him.

Not that it will matter. People who are voting for him will still vote for him regardless. Same with Clinton.

America is screwed.

I forgot to watch it, but

both are idiots and poor choices.

Voting for one or the other is summed into this question:
"What poison you want?"

Totally agree. Trump seemed like an agitated 10 year old who wasn't getting his way. Clinton came off the same as a self-righteous teacher I once had who absolutely refused to listen to what you had to say (Though this may just be my opinion as I absolutely despised Mrs. Wolbaum haha)

So, can anyone recommend a good back-up country? Canada is too close and given recent events in G.B. its off the table.

If I vote, I may vote Trump, just to keep Clinton out of office.

Consider the ramifications of that statement. Voting isn't mandatory and there are third party candidates who have 0 chance of winning if you really want to vote

The only reason why that is is because so many people have this ridiculous mentality that a third party vote is a wasted vote. Just saying.

Even a losing third party candidate, with enough votes behind him/her, is an indication of where people's interest lies. Gary Johnson hovering around the 10% mark is unprecedented.

Hang on, I just started looking over his policies and stances.

Not bad, certainly not all good, but not all bad.

...something tells me that's the best we'll get in this election. "Not bad"
