Coordinates: K15
Hyperlane: N/A
Climate: Arid, dry, continental. Days are hot, nights are cold. No seasonal variation (no axis tilt).
Terrain: Mountainous, rugged, dry. Water is found deep underground. No seas. Only cactus-like vegetation - catch water condensing at night.
Rotation: 30 hours
Inhabitants: Mostly human settlers.
Resources: None found yet
Government/Culture: Tribal society, largely nomadic, a number of fixed settlements.
Technology: Contemporary, but sparse.
Satellites: None

History: A planet on the outer reaches of Imperial space that has proved ungovernable. It has no strategic significance, either in terms of resources or location, yet if the Empire gives it up, it may give other planets hope that the Imperial war machine can be defeated by rebellious tribespeople. The best career progression that can be had from a tour of Afann is to be reallocated elsewhere: there are no big victories to be had, only losses to be avoided. The tribes only put a hold on fighting each other to fight the Empire and only stop fighting the Empire to fight each other.

Locations:
Damash
Uncharted_3.jpeg

The only city on the planet, now a ghost town. It is fought over by the warring tribes and Empire for symbolic purposes more than anything. No one faction has held it long enough to repopulate it since it first fell 5 years ago.

Fort Basilica
Martial Law has never been lifted since the original invasion. The Governer-General rules from the sprawling camp that is Fort Basilica. This was meant to be a temporary beach-head for the occupying forces, but as Damash was destroyed, Basilica has become the planet's de facto capital. It is surrounded by a perimeter of prefabricated "Outposts" (30mx30m structures with 4m high walls and a turret in one corner; a number have also been deployed around the planet to act as forward operating bases, in multiples for larger bases or singly; a platoon required to man each) linked by zig-zagged trenches at 200-odd m intervals. In Basilica is the main starport, the largest temporary starport in the Empire.

Intent: A planet that is not significant on the galactic scale but is enough of a thorn in the Empire's side to need constant occupation.
Meta-Intent: a Legionary playground to go rebel hunting and explore.

You might consult with Sith leadership about doing some story-oriented mission packs on this planet. The political climate on it makes it prime opportunity for story growth and development.

Approved.

Well, since this planet is primarily geared towards stories involving the Legion (and/or the Moffs), I'd get with @Intratec. He's the AFL in charge of the Legion and would probably love to work with you on a project like this.

Will more information be added as time goes on, or is this all there is? Because color me intrigued, I would like to see more about this place. :)

I wanted to leave open for rp - I have a few ideas of what could happen/be found but wanted to collaborate

Malon mentioned story driven mission packs: I could throw a few of those ideas together to get people started if you like?

Mission Packs would be pretty good. Not only do they give people stuff to do, but you can better enrich the lore of the world you made.
