Affiliation: Corellia Engineering Corporation

Intent: A popular freighter for pirates or corporations venturing into the more hazardous spacelanes, and to protect their goods.

Model: Alabaster Escort Freighter

Dimensions: Length: 45 meters, Width: 15 meters, Height: 7 meters

Class: Light Freighter

Crew: 1 Pilot, 1 Navigator, 1-2 Gunners, 1 Comms Officer, 3-4 security officers (Customs variant)

Armament: 1x turreted twin heavy laser cannon, 2x fixed laser cannon, 1 torpedo tube

Equipment: Standard Sensor Array, Standard Life Support System, Civilian Navigation Module, HoloNet Transceiver, Standard Communications Suite, Hypermatter Reactor, Standard Shield Generators, Escape Pods (4)

Speed: 70 MGLT

Hyperdrive Rating: 4

Complement: 30-35 metric tons of cargo

Maneuverability: The Alabaster handles very well for a freighter, though freight is its secondary role. It has a distinct edge over other freighters, but it still isn't recommended to get into anything more than a brief dogfight.

Description: The Alabaster is a popular Outer-Rim freighter named after the polished white showroom floor finish. Ships in service for longer than a month tend to have that sleek finish pitted and darkened by space travel. It has stronger shields and more weapons than standard freighters, and is faster too. This however has made it extremely popular with pirates and private security. Additional cargo space can be removed to make room for more crew or more weapons. That being said the engines are an easy target, and is by no means a true military-quality vessel, but poorer systems still use it as a decently effective customs vessel.

Love you for making this! Fits my character perfectly!

Quick question: Is there a possibility of keeping a small fighter or a similar but low-end craft on a hangar, maybe a couple of swoops instead? - Even if at the expense of something else, such as weapons, etc.

You could probably attach one to the docking ports like in Rebels, but a pilot would have to already be inside, so...limited use.

mmhm. Not something I'm starting off with, then.
Sorry, one more question: I'm guessing that while a 2-3 members crew is recommended (pilot, navi, maybe comms), 1 man (pilot) can still fly the ship albeit with "reduced functionality", right?

@MockaDash easy way to fill in for crew is droids, a astromech/utility droid can fill in for a co-pilot/nav officer etc etc.
