Planet: Alienas

Climate: Around the equator it is tropical year round. The islands are a mix of tropical wetlands, tropical rainforests and tropical savanna. The islands in the lower and upper halves in between the equator and the poles experience all the seasons, and are a mix of sub tropical, and humid climates. Islands closer to the poles are a colder subarctic climate. The weather is mostly sunny but they have rainy seasons, and hurricanes can be a big problem. Snowfall in the north and south, along with a few high mountain peaks during the colder times of the year.
Terrain: Alienas is a vast ocean with five large islands spread out across the planet with a collection of small to medium sized islands in their vicinity of a 100 miles or so.
Large Islands:
To the north, "Eldfjallajökulsey" - Smallest and youngest of the large islands formed. Sub Arctic climate. Alive with volcanic activity, rivers of lava flow to the ocean on the eastern side constantly. Cities and towns are located sparsely on the coast. Inland are the highlands, which is mostly uninhabitable volcanic desert with a few oasis spots of vegetation found only by the rivers and lakes made from the many glaciers around the island.
To the south, "Haumea" - Second smallest and youngest of the large islands formed. Climate of the northern side is sub tropical and humid, while the most southern side is in a sub arctic climate. North is home to forests and plains, small mountain range to the south. Cities are by the sea, while inland are a few farming towns.
To the east, "Hawaiki" - in between Haumea and Ninuta in size and age. Climate of the the northern side is tropical wetlands and rainforests, the southern side is sub tropical and humid. Island is split in half horizontally by a mountain range. Cities by the sea, and towns inland.
To the west, "Ninurta" - The second largest in size and age. The climate is mostly tropical savanna and a large rainforest around the mountain in the center of the island. Cities once again by the sea. Few residents live inland. The only island with a decent population of animals living on the island who wander the savanna.
And the centralized island, "Rakuen" - The largest and oldest of all the islands. Climate is tropical wetlands and rainforests. A mountain range, home the largest volcano on the planet, is located in the center of the island and hides an ancient hidden valley and the palace of the Henare royal family, accessible via ancient lava tubes. The capital, Henare City, stretches all along the coast of the island. Smaller cities and towns inland, but are sparsely scattered as not to disturb the jungles and grasslands.
Around Alienas there are smaller islands which constantly grow from undersea volcanoes. The smaller islands are usually just one type of terrain, rarely is there a mix. Some are inhabited by small tribes and communities who ventured away from the larger islands rule and live independently. Others serve as bases and hideouts for criminals and space pirates on the run.
Rotation: the day and night cycle on the planet last a little under 24 hours, and a year lasts 365 days. Alienas is located in a small solar system of 4 planets in the unknown region of the Galaxy.
Inhabitants: The largest population on the planet is actually the many fish and creatures, big and small, living in the vast ocean that covers Alienas. Human's are the second largest population on the planet, mostly concentrated in the cities on the larger islands, and the small islands in their vicinity. There are a multitude of small communities among many of the islands. Be wary, as some of these islands are not accepting of people from other islands, and even more so of off worlders. There have been reports of some very isolated and cannibalistic tribes as well. Use caution when exploring. The third largest population are the birds that fly from island to island. The fourth and last are a few land creatures who mostly live on the bigger islands, but have been known to swim to nearby ones.
Resources: Many fruits, vegetables, and other flora grow here. The seemingly endless supply of fish can't be ignored either. The planets high volcanic activity may attract businesses that seek to harness this great power source. The paradise like feel of the planet would also make an ideal resort and vacationing location for others in the Galaxy.

While they are Ideally always a pair, there are a few instances in the history when there is a single ruler. Whether it be an early death of a spouse or never marrying, the successor is usually the child of a royal family member. The Great King or Great Queen has the choice to pick which of her nieces or nephews will succeed her. The method has also been used in the event The Greats are unable to have children. The rule of The Greats is that the Henare royal bloodline must live on, meaning that one of the chosen Greats must be of the Henare royal family. Once chosen, they are free to marry whom they choose no matter their social status. The smaller isolated islands who choose not to socialize with the rest of the planet, keep to themselves. Not much is known, but it is assumed they are ruled by chiefs or elders as well. The planet became apart of the galactic republic 10 years ago. There was a vocal minority who felt that they were better off staying independent, but majority of the people voted to join.

The people of Alienas are excellent swimmers and divers because of their ancestors, and can still hold their breath for an unusually long time. The island of Rakuen is home to the oldest library on the planet, containing handwritten books, scrolls, paintings, and pictures going back to the beginning of life on the planet and detailing the events of Alienas and it's people by first hand accounts. The planet has a history of Xenophobia that started with their ancestors isolated on their islands and feared those who travelled from other islands. Satellites: The planet is orbited by one moon. It's pristine and clean side is always facing towards the planet, while the outward side is a large chunk missing from the planet from a past collision with a large meteor.

In The Beginning
1 Million Years Before Joining The Republic
The people of Alienas now know that their ancestors came from the ocean. They lived as humanoid creatures beneath the waves, as the underwater volcanoes rose to the surface and expanded each millennia. One day their ancestors surfaced and ventured onto the islands that had formed, and adapted more than well to land. They began to live between the ocean and the islands, some even chose to live on land and never returned to the ocean. With every few generations, their aquatic features disappeared more and more, and they returned under the waves less and less. While this made each of the groups more diverse, it also isolated them. Isolation unfortunately is a frequent thing in their history. When they lived in the ocean, their ancestors lived together as one, migrating all over the vast ocean planet. But as more started to leave the community and broke off into smaller groups to live on the islands, their aquatic ancestors population diminished and eventually disappeared.
The Great War

Thousands of years passed and the people continued to live on their islands in seclusion, feeling they were the only ones in the world. Their origins of coming from beneath the waves, now just a legend to the older, and a fairytale to the younger, they had forgotten their roots. When the people discovered how to build rafts and boats, they ventured out and discovered they were not alone. People just like them, but each person, culture and language was different. The first thing that came to mind of them all was fear, chasing and attacking anyone not from their island. Tension rose for years and soon, the battles for territory began. Warriors were sent and fought for control. Families were slaughtered, islands were raided and burned for resources. it seemed to never end as more islands were discovered by every side, every day. The central island of Rakuen, being the largest on the planet, became a battleground between the four main islands. He who would control, Rakuen would easily be able to take over the others. The natives of Rakuen were not as violent as their brothers and sisters from the other islands. They were peaceful and seekers of knowledge. They were also the only people who remembered their origins thanks to the chronicles made and archived in an ancient library by the ancestors who settled on Rakuen. When the War came to the island, they kept out of sight, living in a hidden valley surrounded by a small mountain range by the volcano, and connected to the outside via old lava tubes. They watched in secret as their brothers and sisters fought in a long violent battle. For weeks, each island sent their warriors to Rakuen where they marched to the center and fought for control from the others. Stories of the horrible sight have been whispered for generations. Bodies strewn across the ground, the smell of rotting flesh, and blood everywhere, even the rivers were red.
Unification by The Great Queen Papa and Great King Rangi
500,000 Years Before Joining The Republic
As the war raged on with no rest in sight, the Rakuen people could no longer watch the violence unfolding on their home and something needed to be done to stop it. The Rakuen people turned to their leaders, a young couple, wise beyond their years. The man was named Rangi Henare, and the woman, Papa Henare. They discussed ways to bring peace and end the war between their lost brethren, they had to take charge and work to unite the islands. Soon Rangi and Papa emerged from the hidden valley and made their way to the battlefield. Dressed in white and adorned with headdresses decorated with the many crystals and jewels found by their community in the lava tubes and caverns, they stunned and silenced the Warriors from the other islands when they appeared. They gave off a calming and powerful aura that made them seem like wise divine beings. Papa spoke first, "Let there be no more blood shed on this land!" her voice had a maternal quality to it which made it like a mother scolding her children. Then Rangi spoke, "Alert your kings, your chiefs, and bring them here. For we shall see who is worthy to rule these islands!" he too had a paternal essence to his voice, billowing and authoritative. The Warriors did as were told, and headed back to their islands and returning with their leaders. Tests of strength and stamina were held between the leaders, the winner would rule over Rakuen island. The final game was between Rangi of Rakuen, and ShenShen, the king and warlord of Ninurta. They participated in a game of Ear pull, a loop of string was looped behind their ears, they then pull at each other's ears with their own, until the string either came free or someone gave up in pain. The game lasted for hours, ShenShen was running on pure adrenaline, but Rangi had entered a calming meditative state and the pain did not bother him. In the end, an exhausted ShenShen succumbed to the pain and angrily forfeited the game. Rangi gathered the leaders once more and thanked them for their participation. He told them how amazing it was seeing all their people come together as one, and to imagine what good they could do if they all worked together to take care of each other. Papa adding in, "we are all sons and daughters of Mother Oceania. We must see each other the way she see's us, no boundaries and all the same." From that day on the large islands and lived and worked together in harmony, ruled by Papa and Rangi on Rakuen, where they took the titles of Great Queen and Great King and established the capital city named it after their family, Henare City.
The Rebellion of ShenShen
499,995 Years Before Joining The Republic
5 year after the unification of the islands, the planet, Alienas and it's people flourished. The leaders met each month with The Greats, discussing their people, their troubles, and trading of goods between them. However the king of Ninurta, ShenShen, despised these meetings. He hated having to answer Rangi, the man who famously defeated him. He longed for the freedom he had before the unification. One day he did the unthinkable and stepped down as King of Ninurta and announced he would be sailing off to live independently from the unified Islands, and threatened a rebellion if anyone tried to stop him. He was followed by small groups of civilians who felt the same as well. On the day of his departure, The Greats and the other leaders gathered and wished ShenShen a safe journey and showed no Ill will towards him. ShenShen's sister, Inanna, who did not share her brothers feelings towards The Greats or the Unification, took his place as Queen of Ninurta. Not much is known of what happened to ShenShen and the group he left with. Some say that they found an island on the far side of the planet, settled and created a community. Others say they stopped on an island to rest and were attacked by cannibals. None of the other leaders ever thought of leaving the union and were content with their arrangements with the The Greats.
The Death Of Great King Rangi and Great Queen Papa
499,900 Years Before Joining The Republic
After ruling for 100 years, The Greats story was finally completed as their spirits returned to the circle of life to be reincarnated. The leaders and people of the islands mourned their passing with much grief. They were buried in the hidden valley, not far from the Royal Palace. Papa and Rangi's youngest son, Tama, became the next Great King along with his wife, a commoner who became his Great Queen. His first act was announcing the construction of a monument to his parents in honor of everything they did for their Islands and people. The monument was a giant stone statue of Papa and Rangi embracing, looking towards the ocean. A smaller version was also made and placed in the Royal Palace. Both monuments still stand to this day.
The Offworlders Arrive
80 Years Before Joining The Republic
Hundreds of years passed since the deaths of Papa and Rangi, and the planet of Alienas, it's people and the royal family still lived on strongly. Reports began to come in from people on the smaller islands of strange lights coming from the sky and landing on uninhabited islands in the night. These weren't taken seriously until leaders, Chiefs, and elders started to see them as well. Then one day, a ship landed in broad daylight on the island of Ninurta. It was a large group of space pirates, looking to raid the civilians who lived there. Unfortunately for the space pirates, the island of Ninurta was home to the Royal Army, which was established by Queen Inanna and The Greats hundreds of years ago to protect unified islands. The pirates were swarmed by the women and men who made up the army. They left one pirate alive, the captain, and took him to the current ruling Greats in Rakuen. The Great King Tama and Great King Shulgi, interrogated the pirate and learned that not only was there life other than their own planet out there, but that their many uninhabited islands around the planet have become hideouts and stashes for many space pirates that came across the planet. They locked up the pirate and an emergency meeting was held between The Greats and the island leaders on how to handle all the new information. The next day, another ship descended from the sky and landed in the capital city, Henare. They were more offworlders, Bounty Hunters hired by the republic in search of the space pirates that had attacked Ninurta. The Greats gave away their prisoner, and while most of the people were weary of the bounty hunters, The Greats used the opportunity to inquire about their recent revelations. Soon after that, more off worlders began to arrive to learn of the Alienas planet, it's people and culture. Most of the Alienas people were on edge, once again the xenophobic mindset that runs in their history. The older generations seemed to have the toughest time as the years went on, the younger generations however were fascinated by the idea of Offworlders and would push in the coming years to learn more about them.
Move To Join The Republic
30 years ago
As relations with Offworlders advanced, so to did Alienas and its people, who started to learn of the advanced technology of the Galaxy and harnessed it in their work and in their living. The larger cities, especially the capital, began to slowly grow as well. Ancient stone buildings, began to be dwarfed by the building of metal skyscrapers of the future. Around this time, Great King Ao came into power and began a movement to have the planet join the republic. While most of the people were in support of the idea, a vocal minority of them were strongly opposed to it. They came to be called, "The Anti Republic Group" and protested loudly and sometimes violently too. Threats were made towards Great King Ao by them, causing a lot of concern. He requested the republic send a Jedi for protection, feeling that choosing someone from his planets army would cause more problems. With Great King Ao's Jedi Knight escort, he traveled to the islands where the Anti Republic Group were prevalent, and began to work and speak with the residents to convince them that joining the republic is for the best. When the unified islands were done, he made his way to each of the independent and isolated islands, big and small, one by one speaking with the people of the grand Galaxy they can be apart of. According to Great King Ao, they may not be apart of the Unified Islands, but they are apart of this planet and should have their opinion heard. Busy with many duties that the Great King handles, it took him a few years to visit almost every island. Towards the end of the island visits, Great King Ao married former Jedi escort, Mana Takk, who was also born on the planet. She took the title of Great Queen and was loved greatly by the people. She was also a big help in persuading the people of Alienas to join the republic with her stories of her Jedi adventures for the republic.
Joining Of The Republic and After
20 years ago
With most of all the islands on Alienas visited (there were a handful of some who wouldn't welcome the Great King or his people. Some even threw rocks and spears at their boats before they even went ashore.), the voting began and the results were 79% to join, and 21% to stay independent. There was a great celebration, not just for the voting results, but also for the birth of The Greats first child. Not long after this event, Great King Ao announced he would step down as Great King to serve in the galactic senate for the planet as Senator Ao Henare. Great Queen Mana also stepped down, becoming an ambassador for Alienas and traveling the Galaxy on various good will and aid missions. Senator Ao chose his younger sister, Kaya Henare to take his place as Great Queen for the planet. Kaya's partner, Puabi joined her in becoming Great Queen as well. Over the coming years, the people and the planet became a popular vacation spot in the Galaxy, various companies also came looking to harness the volcanic activity on the planet. Around this time, Great Queen Kaya made the announcement of her heir to the throne, Shu Rin Henare, child of Ao and Mana Henare. Shu Rin's debut as Princess was greatly celebrated, but also started a nefarious underground movement that would grow in coming years in the shadows of Alienas. Tragedy also struck the Henare royal family when it was revealed that Mana Henare was kidnapped by space pirates on a distant planet during an aid mission, she had offered herself in Shu Rin's place. Never had this happen to any member of the royal family, the planet mourned for months.
Present Time
As of now, Great Queen Kaya and Great Queen Puabi are still in power of Alienas, and Princess Shu Rin is still next in line for the throne. While most of the Alienas people are content with their lives, a small minority is once again rising with dangerous ideas and plans. This group calls itself, "Son's of ShenShen". They're an underground society made mostly of remnants of the Anti-Republic group on Alienas, space pirates, criminal gangs, heads of corporations and supposedly some galactic senators. Their goal is to eventually bring about a revolution and end of the Henare Royal family, and put into power someone who they can control for their benefits. While they have yet to make a big move, they are whispered about among the worried Alienas people who fear the group could start a war. The Royal family has heard the rumors, but unfortunately cannot do anything as there are no clues to who is in the group or where it is.
Intent: Although the planet will play a part in my characters journey, I really wanted to have a place where other characters can unwind and interact in a leisurely environment for an exotic get away. I feel the planet's culture and history is pretty unique as well and would love to see others play off of them and see what they come up with. There's plenty of adventures that can be had here on the many islands too with space pirates, criminal gangs, and a few cannibal tribes.

When the people discovered how to build rafts and boats, they ventured out and discovered they were not alone. People just like them, but each person, culture and language was different. The first thing that came to mind of them all was fear, chasing and attacking anyone not from their island. Tension rose for years and soon, the battles for territory began. Warriors were sent and fought for control. Families were slaughtered, islands were raided and burned for resources. it seemed to never end as more islands were discovered by every side, every day. The central island of Rakuen, being the largest on the planet, became a battleground between the four main islands. He who would control, Rakuen would easily be able to take over the others. The natives of Rakuen were not as violent as their brothers and sisters from the other islands. They were peaceful and seekers of knowledge. They were also the only people who remembered their origins thanks to the chronicles made and archived in an ancient library by the ancestors who settled on Rakuen. When the War came to the island, they kept out of sight, living in a hidden valley surrounded by a small mountain range by the volcano, and connected to the outside via old lava tubes. They watched in secret as their brothers and sisters fought in a long violent battle. For weeks, each island sent their warriors to Rakuen where they marched to the center and fought for control from the others. Stories of the horrible sight have been whispered for generations. Bodies strewn across the ground, the smell of rotting flesh, and blood everywhere, even the rivers were red.
Unification by The Great Queen Papa and Great King Rangi
500,000 Years Before Joining The Republic
As the war raged on with no rest in sight, the Rakuen people could no longer watch the violence unfolding on their home and something needed to be done to stop it. The Rakuen people turned to their leaders, a young couple, wise beyond their years. The man was named Rangi Henare, and the woman, Papa Henare. They discussed ways to bring peace and end the war between their lost brethren, they had to take charge and work to unite the islands. Soon Rangi and Papa emerged from the hidden valley and made their way to the battlefield. Dressed in white and adorned with headdresses decorated with the many crystals and jewels found by their community in the lava tubes and caverns, they stunned and silenced the Warriors from the other islands when they appeared. They gave off a calming and powerful aura that made them seem like wise divine beings. Papa spoke first, "Let there be no more blood shed on this land!" her voice had a maternal quality to it which made it like a mother scolding her children. Then Rangi spoke, "Alert your kings, your chiefs, and bring them here. For we shall see who is worthy to rule these islands!" he too had a paternal essence to his voice, billowing and authoritative. The Warriors did as were told, and headed back to their islands and returning with their leaders. Tests of strength and stamina were held between the leaders, the winner would rule over Rakuen island. The final game was between Rangi of Rakuen, and ShenShen, the king and warlord of Ninurta. They participated in a game of Ear pull, a loop of string was looped behind their ears, they then pull at each other's ears with their own, until the string either came free or someone gave up in pain. The game lasted for hours, ShenShen was running on pure adrenaline, but Rangi had entered a calming meditative state and the pain did not bother him. In the end, an exhausted ShenShen succumbed to the pain and angrily forfeited the game. Rangi gathered the leaders once more and thanked them for their participation. He told them how amazing it was seeing all their people come together as one, and to imagine what good they could do if they all worked together to take care of each other. Papa adding in, "we are all sons and daughters of Mother Oceania. We must see each other the way she see's us, no boundaries and all the same." From that day on the large islands and lived and worked together in harmony, ruled by Papa and Rangi on Rakuen, where they took the titles of Great Queen and Great King and established the capital city named it after their family, Henare City.
The Rebellion of ShenShen
499,995 Years Before Joining The Republic
5 year after the unification of the islands, the planet, Alienas and it's people flourished. The leaders met each month with The Greats, discussing their people, their troubles, and trading of goods between them. However the king of Ninurta, ShenShen, despised these meetings. He hated having to answer Rangi, the man who famously defeated him. He longed for the freedom he had before the unification. One day he did the unthinkable and stepped down as King of Ninurta and announced he would be sailing off to live independently from the unified Islands, and threatened a rebellion if anyone tried to stop him. He was followed by small groups of civilians who felt the same as well. On the day of his departure, The Greats and the other leaders gathered and wished ShenShen a safe journey and showed no Ill will towards him. ShenShen's sister, Inanna, who did not share her brothers feelings towards The Greats or the Unification, took his place as Queen of Ninurta. Not much is known of what happened to ShenShen and the group he left with. Some say that they found an island on the far side of the planet, settled and created a community. Others say they stopped on an island to rest and were attacked by cannibals. None of the other leaders ever thought of leaving the union and were content with their arrangements with the The Greats.
The Death Of Great King Rangi and Great Queen Papa

After ruling for 100 years, The Greats story was finally completed as their spirits returned to the circle of life to be reincarnated. The leaders and people of the islands mourned their passing with much grief. They were buried in the hidden valley, not far from the Royal Palace. Papa and Rangi's youngest son, Tama, became the next Great King along with his wife, a commoner who became his Great Queen. His first act was announcing the construction of a monument to his parents in honor of everything they did for their Islands and people. The monument was a giant stone statue of Papa and Rangi embracing, looking towards the ocean. A smaller version was also made and placed in the Royal Palace. Both monuments still stand to this day.
The Offworlders Arrive
80 Years Before Joining The Republic
Hundreds of years passed since the deaths of Papa and Rangi, and the planet of Alienas, it's people and the royal family still lived on strongly. Reports began to come in from people on the smaller islands of strange lights coming from the sky and landing on uninhabited islands in the night. These weren't taken seriously until leaders, Chiefs, and elders started to see them as well. Then one day, a ship landed in broad daylight on the island of Ninurta. It was a large group of space pirates, looking to raid the civilians who lived there. Unfortunately for the space pirates, the island of Ninurta was home to the Royal Army, which was established by Queen Inanna and The Greats hundreds of years ago to protect unified islands. The pirates were swarmed by the women and men who made up the army. They left one pirate alive, the captain, and took him to the current ruling Greats in Rakuen. The Great King Tama and Great King Shulgi, interrogated the pirate and learned that not only was there life other than their own planet out there, but that their many uninhabited islands around the planet have become hideouts and stashes for many space pirates that came across the planet. They locked up the pirate and an emergency meeting was held between The Greats and the island leaders on how to handle all the new information. The next day, another ship descended from the sky and landed in the capital city, Henare. They were more offworlders, Bounty Hunters hired by the republic in search of the space pirates that had attacked Ninurta. The Greats gave away their prisoner, and while most of the people were weary of the bounty hunters, The Greats used the opportunity to inquire about their recent revelations. Soon after that, more off worlders began to arrive to learn of the Alienas planet, it's people and culture. Most of the Alienas people were on edge, once again the xenophobic mindset that runs in their history. The older generations seemed to have the toughest time as the years went on, the younger generations however were fascinated by the idea of Offworlders and would push in the coming years to learn more about them.
Move To Join The Republic

As relations with Offworlders advanced, so to did Alienas and its people, who started to learn of the advanced technology of the Galaxy and harnessed it in their work and in their living. The larger cities, especially the capital, began to slowly grow as well. Ancient stone buildings, began to be dwarfed by the building of metal skyscrapers of the future. Around this time, Great King Ao came into power and began a movement to have the planet join the republic. While most of the people were in support of the idea, a vocal minority of them were strongly opposed to it. They came to be called, "The Anti Republic Group" and protested loudly and sometimes violently too. Threats were made towards Great King Ao by them, causing a lot of concern. He requested the republic send a Jedi for protection, feeling that choosing someone from his planets army would cause more problems. With Great King Ao's Jedi Knight escort, he traveled to the islands where the Anti Republic Group were prevalent, and began to work and speak with the residents to convince them that joining the republic is for the best. When the unified islands were done, he made his way to each of the independent and isolated islands, big and small, one by one speaking with the people of the grand Galaxy they can be apart of. According to Great King Ao, they may not be apart of the Unified Islands, but they are apart of this planet and should have their opinion heard. Busy with many duties that the Great King handles, it took him a few years to visit almost every island. Towards the end of the island visits, Great King Ao married former Jedi escort, Mana Takk, who was also born on the planet. She took the title of Great Queen and was loved greatly by the people. She was also a big help in persuading the people of Alienas to join the republic with her stories of her Jedi adventures for the republic.
Joining Of The Republic and After

With most of all the islands on Alienas visited (there were a handful of some who wouldn't welcome the Great King or his people. Some even threw rocks and spears at their boats before they even went ashore.), the voting began and the results were 79% to join, and 21% to stay independent. There was a great celebration, not just for the voting results, but also for the birth of The Greats first child. Not long after this event, Great King Ao announced he would step down as Great King to serve in the galactic senate for the planet as Senator Ao Henare. Great Queen Mana also stepped down, becoming an ambassador for Alienas and traveling the Galaxy on various good will and aid missions. Senator Ao chose his younger sister, Kaya Henare to take his place as Great Queen for the planet. Kaya's partner, Puabi joined her in becoming Great Queen as well. Over the coming years, the people and the planet became a popular vacation spot in the Galaxy, various companies also came looking to harness the volcanic activity on the planet. Around this time, Great Queen Kaya made the announcement of her heir to the throne, Shu Rin Henare, child of Ao and Mana Henare. Shu Rin's debut as Princess was greatly celebrated, but also started a nefarious underground movement that would grow in coming years in the shadows of Alienas. Tragedy also struck the Henare royal family when it was revealed that Mana Henare was kidnapped by space pirates on a distant planet during an aid mission, she had offered herself in Shu Rin's place. Never had this happen to any member of the royal family, the planet mourned for months.
Present Time
As of now, Great Queen Kaya and Great Queen Puabi are still in power of Alienas, and Princess Shu Rin is still next in line for the throne. While most of the Alienas people are content with their lives, a small minority is once again rising with dangerous ideas and plans. This group calls itself, "Son's of ShenShen". They're an underground society made mostly of remnants of the Anti-Republic group on Alienas, space pirates, criminal gangs, heads of corporations and supposedly some galactic senators. Their goal is to eventually bring about a revolution and end of the Henare Royal family, and put into power someone who they can control for their benefits. While they have yet to make a big move, they are whispered about among the worried Alienas people who fear the group could start a war. The Royal family has heard the rumors, but unfortunately cannot do anything as there are no clues to who is in the group or where it is.
Intent: Although the planet will play a part in my characters journey, I really wanted to have a place where other characters can unwind and interact in a leisurely environment for an exotic get away. I feel the planet's culture and history is pretty unique as well and would love to see others play off of them and see what they come up with. There's plenty of adventures that can be had here on the many islands too with space pirates, criminal gangs, and a few cannibal tribes.
