"And yet another comes..." (Choray Sefja's Training)

[Phil]

The Ospion Guardians were changing, as well as all who served it's cause, even Durtrak. It showed in his skin, the colors on his skin were changing slightly as time passed with his time here. He knew it must be due to his becoming more intune with the Force then he ever was before, and he was ready to pass on his teachings to another apprentice that he was to take up.

Waiting in his meditation room, he knew that his new Apprentice, this being known as Choray Sefja, would find him in here.

 

[D.C.]

The Zabrak mercenary was always looking for answers. He was sensitive to the Force, it seemed, and he had learned the power Force Speed but there was yet so many to learn. To know. He was both curious and anxious.

The Ospion had took him in, and he was been told to meet his new master: Durtrak. He had no idea what kind of person this man was, but Choray had met many different people in his life.

As he stood before the door of the room, dressed in his black longcoat, he took a deep breath and then put his gloved right hand on the button next to the door. The door slided open and he looked straight at his new Ospion master.

"Greetings, master Durtrak." he said. "I am Choray Sefja. Thank you... for willing to teach me."

 

[Phil]

Lifting his head upwards to look at the one who entered, Durtrak rose to his feet as his Trandoshan features on his face were now more visible then before as Durtrak smiled... or how a Trandoshan would smile as his razor sharp teeth showed.

"Greetingssss. Pleasssse, enter. There is much to do now that you have arrived."

With a wave of his hand, the door gently slid closed behind Choray. He looked different then the other species he has seen...

"Sssso tell me... Do you know how I jusssst did that?"

 

[D.C.]

As the Zabrak looked over his shoulder back to the door, which slid closed, he said. "The Force... Isn't it?"

He looked back to his Trandoshan master. This one had mastered the Force and he could learn so much from the Ospion Knight in front of him. He was sure of it.

 

[Phil]

"That issss correct. Here, we sssshall teach you to harnessss such power, and it will you who will decide how you sssshould use it. Do you possssessss the knowledge on how to usssse it?"

 

[D.C.]

The knowledge to use the Force. Choray nodded in reply to the Ospion's question. The stranger named Phantom had told him about the Force and he even taught Choray how to use Force Speed.

"I believe I do." he said. "I know this power... Force Speed, if I am correct."

Patiently he waited for his master to speak again, though he was eager to begin the training.

 

[Phil]

"Give Durtrak a demonsssstration then, I wisssh to see what you are capable of before we proceed."

Durtrak took a few steps back, giving Choray some room. This was the first part of the first lesson. If Durtrak was to turn this mercenary into an Ospion, he would need to see what he could do, and how he could serve their Order.

 

[D.C.]

He had to show the Trandoshan Knight a demonstration? Choray nodded and decided just to do as his master told him to. After all, it wasn't such a bad idea to do a little warming up. He readied himself and concentrated. He could feel the strange power flowing through his veins like an odd substance that was injected. He focused and in a split second he stood at the other side of the room. He turned around to his master.

"I have been practising Force Speed on my own, but it's the only thing I know when it comes to Force Powers."

 

[Phil]

Durtrak witnessed the quick move, seeing his apprentice move from the door to the other side of the room in a blur. He was so far impressed... slightly. Upon hearing what he has said, Durtrak gave a nod of approval.

"It issss your ssssignature power then. Practice it, and you may one day even get passsst my eyessss. Now that I know what you can do, there issss now the time of a few quesssstionssss. The Osssspion Guardianssss, what do you know of the order you have joined, and why do you sssseek to become one with ussss?"

 

[D.C.]

Choray nodded as his master told him that Force Speed was his signature power. Maybe he had talent for the power, and he could become very strong in it. He would keep practising it.

Then, his master asked him the neccesary questions. He remained silent for a few moments and then opened his mouth to answer: "The Ospion Guardians. I have done some research about the order and read about the former Jedi Grandmaster, Banik Kelrada. How he had betrayed the Jedi, and how a group of former Jedi formed this order." Choray told his master everything he knew about the Ospion order's history. "I wish to join because I feel this is where I belong. I see the Ospion Guardians as the true defenders of peace, worthy of wielding the Force. Still small in numbers, but better than the Jedi, for they've traitors as Grandmasters. I wish to become one with this order, to learn about the Force and to become a true defender of peace."

 

[Phil]

"A wisssse answer, to both. The Jeedai of Osssssussss lack what it takessss to uphold peace and order in this universe, and so we The Osssspion were born. Though be warned, this path you chosssse will not be easy, and if crosssss the pathssss of a Jeedai, you may have to defend your life againsssst them, even if it meanssss... desssstroying them.

"Which now bringssss us to our first lessssson. Tell Durtrak, do you have a blade or a lightssssaber on yoursssself when you arrived?"

 

[D.C.]

Choray nodded to what his master said about the Jedi. He did absolutely not believe in the Jedi, and he considered it neccesary to destroy them, if he would encounter them.

Then he was asked if he had a lightsaber.

"No, I don't have a lightsaber. I never had."

 

[Phil]

"Very well. We will move onto that later, but in the meantime..."

Durtrak had reached out and opened a steel container so the lid slid open and a standard longsword lifted out before going into Durtrak's hand. He then tossed the blade to Choray to catch.

"Usssse thissss for the time being. Have you any experience with The Blade?"

 

[D.C.]

"Yes." Choray said as he caught the sword. "I have a Vibrosword of my own, as well as a short sword. Not with me at the moment, though."

 

[Phil]

"Good. Now, pretend I am going to kill you."

Not waiting for an awnser, Durtrak's hand reached out to the side and one of his long blades shot off it's wall mantle and into his hand. Once he gripped it, he took a swing towards Choray's torso area. Hopefully he would react intime to block the non lethal attack.

 

[D.C.]

Choray almost automatically brought up the long sword with both hands to block Durtrak's strike. It was a quick reaction.
He was quite a good swordsman, as well as a gunman.

"I have used a sword in combat many times. I am quite an experienced swordsman, if I am allowed to speak that high of myself..."

 

[Phil]

"Granted, but only if you may prove it with wordssss."

Releasing his blade, Durtrak took several steps back, holding his blade with only one hand. He went into a defensive stance.

"Sssstrike me, do your besssst to break through my defensssse."

 

[D.C.]

Choray grabbed the handle of his sword a bit tighter and then slashed with his sword towards Durtrak's head. It was a quick slash, and just before he would hit the Ospion he brought down his sword and made an appearance move. He actually aimed for the leg.
He was not entirely sure he could break through an Opsion's defense though. This one was a Force User, a better warrior. Choray tried anyway.

 

[Phil]

Swords collided when Durtrak raised his blade to block the strike going towards his head. However, once he saw the blade go towards his feet, he leaped off the ground as the blade went under his feet. As he was in the air, he allowed the Force to keep him levitated for a brief few seconds as he gently kicked towards Choray. It was not a strong kick, even for someone of Durtrak's strength, and it was mearly to send Choray back a bit.

 

[D.C.]

Choray got kicked and had to take a few steps back. He looked at his master.
He then raised his sword and dashed towards the trandoshan. He aimed a very fast paced slash towards the shoulders of the trandoshan.
However, he did not intend to harm Durtrak, he tried to smash his sword out of his hands to unarm him, if Durtrak would block the strike.
