Andoba the Hutt

Information on Andoba the Hutt...

Age: 132
Gender: Hermaphrodite (considered male)
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 500 kilograms
Royalty: Marquis of Naboo
Rank: Line Captain
-----------
History of the glorious Andoba the Hutt:

Not much is known about Andoba's beginning as a Hutt gangster. It is know that he was born on Nal Hutta, the claimed homeworld of the Hutt species, since his birth was long after the exodus from Varl. He rose to prominence as a Hutt at the age of ninety, a young age for the Hutts, where he controlled his own his own crime empire, as most Hutt lords did at that time.

However, as with most Hutts, after the rise of Tusa Ujalli Hai to Emperor of the Hutt Empire, he combined his crime syndicate with the Empire's growing military force. His agents now also reported to the Emperor instead of himself like they use to. He then became a Hutt Overseer, who watched over the many once private enterprises that the Empire now controlled. During his early days as an Overseer, he learned the Twi'lek language from one of his subordinates, as the Empire required its members to know Huttese, which he was already fluent in, along side Twi'lek or Rodian languages.

The details of his history, after this point, is currently unknown, however, it is known that at some point he became both a Line Captain in the Hutt Navy and the Marquis of Naboo.

Additional information

Servants: 4 (see picture at the top)
Ships:
1x Hai-class Frigate - Darkness of Dawn
Credits: 10,000
Fleet: Steel Rain Armada *

Strength: 7/10
Dexterity: 4/10
Constitution: 10/10
Intelligence: 9/10
Wisdom: 8/10
Charisma 8/10

Skills: Making deals, shooting, bribing, deception, as well as eating and drinking.

Strengths: Like all Hutts, Andoba is sly with words and is capable of twisting them to make exceptional business deals that benefit both himself and the Empire. He is also famous for bribery and isn't afraid to use his credits when his bargaining with words fails. He is also skilled in the use of a blaster pistol, though it is only effective if he has the element of surprise. Despite his enormous size, he can move at surprising speeds thanks to a single muscular "foot" located at the base of his tail and belly; a feature in all Hutts. He can speak fluently in Galactic basic, Huttese, and Twi'lek.

Weaknesses: Like most Hutts, he is very large making him a very large target and also forcing him into having to rely on his personal security guard to protect him.

Equipment: Andoba carries credits, a glass of Tarisian ale, and, as expected, food wherever he goes. He also has a protocol droid translator with him when needed. He also often dons Hutt battle armor for additional protection.

Pets: Like most Hutts, Andoba took care of several pets. He is known to have owned several Corellian razor hounds.

-----------
Personality
Andoba is a typical Hutt; greedy, sly, repulsive, and has an unquenchable hunger for power. His name in Huttese means "another". Andoba enjoys watching military combat, fights to death, gambling, and eating among other things. Though he has a large thirst for power, he is loyal to the Emperor of the Hutt Empire without question. He is sly and deceitful and relies on these traits to get what he wants, only resorting to bribery by credits if this facade fails. He has those who fail him executed in several grotesque ways, whichever he finds more pleasing at the time.

How so? If they can, then I'm going to make him agile since the one thing I hate about Hutts is their speed, or at least my perception of their speed.

"In fact, a Hutt's thick, fatty hide hid a powerful musculature, allowing them to move with surprising speed on the single muscular "foot" formed by the base of their tail and belly."

As a new character he cannot start with more than 1,000 credits, according to the character template rules, just to point out.

Rules are rules. But to be fair, credits are really just an accessory to stamp on a character sheet. We don't have a credit system or any currency trading done IC or OOC, so it doesn't really matter if someone has 1 credit, 1000, or even 100,000,000. They aren't used in the RP.

Credits aren't emphasized much so I generally just take that section out. It's not like you have to do every section in the provided template; in fact, you don't even have to use it at all.

The Templates are guidelines, not rules. They provide a framework to build off of when creating your first character, and that's about it. As for credits, I've seen a few characters start with well over 1,000 credits, or well under 1,000 credits; it all depends on the character's story. It's not a bad idea to ask permission to start with more than 1K credits, though.

The reason I gave him 10 K was twofold;

1. I saw another Hutt with a "massive amount" listed as his credits.
2. Hutts are known for their wealth, though 10 K is hardly much among the current Hutts.

If it is an issue, I can remove it, as the lack of real use for credits in the RP has been noted by several here. It was mainly for the cosmetics of the profile.

The 10k shouldn't be an issue, we don't really use currency. Hell, if the Empire saw my CARD budget I'd be jailed.
:CHappy

Looks good to me. How does a Marquis (controls a handfull of systems) sound?
