I am in total agreement with you Allu'rah! This is my view as well, that we one day find the strength to again stand on our own. My answer to this is YES. We would again become our own faction IF we checked off the checklist of requirements to do so. This would no doubt require a certain amount of PC members, as well as time to reorganize (which would not so easily happen unless we did this. I promis you, the Sith will not let the IKs find each other ICly and regroup.) We would have to beat the Sith back to a certain point as well. And securing the Jedi to be able to stop these kinds of attacks is the answer to stopping the Sith from being able to do these kinds of attacks on us. Strengthen them and we strengthen ourselves.

Well, if we're able to maintain our own identity, more or less our own chain of command, and the possibility of one day being independent again, then perhaps this is the best path. You're definitely right that the Sith would hunt us down and exterminate us while we're scattered and without a base to rally to. So fine. Let's do it. We're probably all just still a little rattled from this attack. But it sounds like you're trying to do what's best for us, and even if we don't like it right now, it's probably the best course of action for now.

After reading everything that has been said in this thread and seeing the attitudes displayed while those things were said, I, as the acting Jedi faction leader, am rescinding the invitation for the Imperial Knights to become a sub-faction of the New Jedi Order.

The Jedi are going through a process of rebuilding. Having the good guys join together like that would have been valuable to both sides, particularly the Imperial Knights, and I’m sorry you all disagreed with that. However, the attitudes that have been displayed in this thread, and the violations of trust that were displayed in some parts of the Imperial Knights leadership before this thread was posted, have prompted me to no longer want this increased level of partnership to be pursued.

Any RPer is free to join the Jedi, but the childish attitudes directed at DeathToll and others in this thread are not welcome in the Jedi faction. They’re unhelpful and unproductive when one of our main goals is to breed faction solidarity so we can operate effectively.

My decision to rescind this invitation is my own, and it is final.

I actually think joining the jedi wouldn't be a bad idea at all. We both are working against the same enemy, so why not do it together? I don't understand why it is such a big deal.

I have failed the Imperial Knights. For not accomplishing an understanding that would breed success in this issue, I have failed.

Zsaekriel will be joining the Jedi in an effort to accomplish what the Imperial Knights have always wanted to accomplish. It was never about the color of my name, and will never be so. The Imperial Knights mean everything to me, which is why I am going to the place where I believe I can make all our dreams come true. Maybe one day I will be welcomed back. I hope that is the case.

I wish all of you the best, and will continue to do what I believe is best for the Imperial Knights. If that means exile within our own ally's ranks, then so be it. You will find that our laws permit this leave, as the Jedi are our allies. As well, I serve the Light side of the Force, and that is the highest of priorities for an Imperial Knight. I hope you all remember that.

Unfortunately, the decision has already been made about the faction merging, it seems. But even if we will not be a Jedi sub faction, I still recommend we take at least some of DeathToll's advice. Rally with the Jedi if they'll let us. I don't like it, but the point has been made that the Knights are scattered, without a base, and we'll be hunted down before we can gather our numbers back on one of the ships.

From there on out, do what we should; strike sneakily to cripple them with the inside knowledge we have. We're Imperials! What's more, the Knights were the Emperor's personal guards, and some Guardsmen were once military personnel. Should we not be able to strike at shipyards, barracks, and comm centers?

I'm so sorry we'll be losing you DeathToll. I know you weren't our FL for long, but you had our best interests at heart.

I don't knwo about you guys, but Syn has my vote for his replacement. He's active, always willing to npc, and most importantly told us what was going on when those in charge tried to hide it from us.

I think Syn resigned. But if he's able, I think he'd be good for us. If not, we're only further crippled now by a sudden and total loss of all our leadership.

DeathToll, you did not fail. You are an INCREDIBLE leader, and I will back you 100% for Faction Leader and/or Jedi council member. Remember, as a leader, you need to have people you can work with. You need to have people you can organize, you need to have support. If others simply want to ignore the problem at hand and fail to recognize what needs to be done, that's not on you at all, so don't you dare think that this is your fault. You were brave to take up the Imperial Knights when they were under so much chaos, and you showed a LOT of initiative right away. However, if the members of the faction are this divided, there is nothing that can be done. Not even the best of us can deal with something that's a lost cause. I don't want you to see this as a failure, but as an opportunity to apply your ideas and proactive efforts where they will be valued.

I'm definitely with Sreeya. You tried your best here, DeathTroll. I don't think I would of put up with as much as you have. You're a very good leader, you just didn't get handed the right cards.
