Hello Sith!

This is your friendly neighborhood Rom to discuss an issue we are having in regards to getting people trained. While Weiss, Black Noise, and I work on setting up a viable prestige training system for acolytes, as well as integrated training for Sith and Imperium Soldiers, many of you are looking around for what to do. I myself am currently involved in teaching three classes and searching for an Apprentice. I can tell you now that I will be accepting two new acolytes to Seeking Power, if you want to learn saber and dueling skills please PM me and I will add you to the roster and direct you to the thread. Offensive Force Use, just posted tonight, will be accepting an additional 3 acolytes ontop of those already in the class. I'm working with the other high-ranking members of the NSI to ensure that everyone who has a skill to teach or an ability to do a class does so.

That being said; we need you to work with us as well.

I would like to remind everyone that, as a community, our ability to grow and thrive as a faction is dependent on, you, the writers. I am asking all Crusader level and above characters to start a class with a roster of at least 3 people, preferably more, and to consider finding an acolyte your writing is compatible with and take them as an Apprentice.

But more importantly, I'm asking the Acolytes to work with themselves. Many people here can tell you the virtue of self training; and as long as you don't go into a thread expecting to read a scroll or tome or holocron and two posts later be a master of the skill you can go far. I encouraging you to join forces with each other and work together to learn skills. Consult a holocron and spend a whole thread practicing with each other; you obviously won't have it mastered by the end of the thread but you can at least start to get the skill down and keep working on it in other threads.

Until we can get the prestige system codified and get some really fun quests and assignments set up, we need to work together as a team to address our training needs.

So let's get to it, gents and ladies. I expect to see a lot more classes, training threads, practice threads, practice duels, and "let's see what we can do if we try this" experimentation threads starting within the next few days.
