Another Step in Life

As Ray used the force to pull her onto the pile too, Maia squealed slightly, but then hugged them both. She felt slightly terrible for Adun, knowing that therw were now two girls just as strong as him, on him. When she said they were on big happy family, Maia finally felt like she belonged somewhere and she was happy where she was.

 

[Algarus]

Adun grunted in discomfort with the two woman now crushing him eith their combined weight. He tried to sit up some but with only one arm that wasnt going to happen. "Ray....Maia....cant....breath...." He gasped out. He understood the excitment, yet being crushed to death in a group hug was not how he planned on going out.

 

[Tristyn]

Ray laughed and eventually moved up, pushing up Maia in the process (togruta are really strong), and fell down again next to him instead. She wrapped one arm around his chest and let her head rest against his shoulder. She never really wondered what Adun thought when her lekku would sometimes get in the way, as it usually did. Like it was doing now.

"I don't know if I should tell my parents are just sit here with you two. I think I wanna sit here"

Adun smiled and pulled his soon to be wife against him. He tried to nudge her lekku out of the way, but the side of his face wasnt suited for this. He quickly abadoned the attempt and merely looked into Rayla's eyes. It seemed insane to think that almost a year ago they had met when he had stopped her from killing a bystander on Tatooine, which she then turned on him in kind. He didnt care that she was crazy at times, because at times so was he. She was one of the few to ignore the scars that he had worn with shame for so long, and to him that meant the galaxy. They were alike, yet different; almost a complete paradox of one another, yet seemed to balance the other out. While she was quick to act and rash at times, he was more patient and diplomatic. This was going to be the start of the rest of their lives together, with their own family; something he had wanted for a long time. He wasnt sure where they would live, how they would earn enough to support themselves and their children, or even what they would be having for dinner tonight. That wasnt important right now. Right now he was surrounded by people he loved, and even if the future ahead was a long and hard one; he would be ready to fight every step of the way to make it work for them. "Lets just lay here. Just a little longer." He said softly as he kissed her forehead. Right now this was a happy moment, and he was going to share it with his new family.
