Clan leaders, it is your responsibility to create missions for the members of your clan. If they have a good idea, you approve, and a lot of people appear to be interested, add it to the mission list or get it started yourself. I'm counting on all of you to take initiative.

Just a heads-up... There's an upcoming battle thread that I've only just recently worked out with Apollo. Unfortunately, it won't involve a lot of people, but this will serve as a plot device to build tension between the GA and the Mandalorians. I've also talked with Sreeya and given the scale of the operation, she assures me that the Mandalore Sector will be returned to us for our efforts. It will be a two versus two battle fought in space above the planet Teth.

By securing Teth, which is a halfway point between the territory around Roon and the Imperium's territory around Saleucami, we will have closed off the only route the GA could have used to flank the Imperium and their ongoing operations around Saleucami and Bimmisaari. It also gives the Mandalorians and Imperium a secure route to travel between our respective territories (which means we can reinforce them and they could do the same for us if need be).

Fyston and Ender will be role-playing the GA opposition forces. I will be participating with Corden and bringing along one other Mando PC, which will be someone who is good with fleet maneuvering and tactics. I already have a plan to give the GA forces a run for their money, but I'll keep that to myself for now.

Please leave these details here in the CIC. They aren't common knowledge yet and I'd like them to remain that way until Apollo and I are ready to begin. If you have any questions, please direct them to me in the form of a PM.

Clan leaders, I need to know who in the faction are most deserving of a promotion. We're looking for more than just activity or thread count. We want to reward people for role-play skill, knowledge of the Mandalorian culture, activity within the faction, and how helpful they've been to us and their fellow members. They don't have to be in your clan to receive a nomination. I've been out of action for a while, so I'm counting on all of you to be my eyes and ears.

Kiro and Silverface, a thousand times over. Them and Sree should be around Sergeant somewhere.

Kiro's character was already a sergeant. I promoted her to ver'alor yesterday. I'll promote Silverface's character from alor'uus to ruus'alor and Sree's character from ruus'alor to ver'alor right now.

I know I am late but Silverface bogged down two separate threads for over a month, he shows skill but should we have an officer that could suddenly stop posting because he doesn't know how to react? I believe we should have waited a bit more before promoting him to Sergeant but that is only my opinion.

Also, Sree has stated icly Kale still doesn't grasp what being a mando means...she knows how to fight, but she is still learning.

Kiro however, DESERVES a promotion. Quick replies, teaching others culture, and generally putting in effort.

I would put Sisk up too, he has created a three part battle, did well in the mando tourney and exemplified what it means to be mando.

Also, (sorry for double post) perhaps we should get a battle hopping? The faction needs a good pvp match up...I am tired of tourney pvp. Let's get Ratler to use them conscripts! Vencu let your hounds of war loose upon the enemy.

Silverface isn't an officer yet and he can just as easily lose his rank as gain it. We'll give him this promotion and a second chance to prove his worth, but please continue to keep me informed on his progress or lack thereof. Things like that are important and I would never had known if you hadn't said anything. Thank you.

I'll put Briza Kale back to ruus'alor for now. Once she has progressed further as a character, she'll get that promotion.

I agree, Kiro really does deserve it.

I’ve told the Sith that they shouldn’t be holding back. The GA and Jedi need to stand on its own. I would suggest talking to Apollo about getting things going between the Alliance and the Mandos. I know Boli has been pushing for that too.

I have been and he's more than willing to help. The issue he has had thus far has been finding active members to lead the GA/Jedi effort in the plots we've discussed.

EDIT:

We could easily post three or more invasion threads right now and I can guarantee that we'd have active members participating on the Mando side, but all those threads would stall without participation from the GA side. The GA can't handle surprises or multiple battle threads, so I've been forced to plan more carefully and ask Apollo to find members that are both active and non-combative... I'm being picky to prevent a stall or a conflict from arising. There have been too many OOC issues with the GA and the Imperium. I'm trying to learn from that and avoid it so that members on both sides can have a fun, exciting, and positive role-play experience right from the start.

I'd like to have a meeting on Messenger sometime soon. Myself, Mars, clan leaders, and clan lieutenants would be participating. We'll discuss a few plot ideas and what steps we can take to get activity back up. I'd like to do it sometime this weekend. If that's not possible, let me know and we'll think up another time for it.

Also, I've asked Bac to switch out the Clan Vencu sub-forum for Clan Bralor. Clan Vencu hasn't had near as much activity as the other clans and I can't effectively manage it as the faction leader, so I think this is for the best. Kiro will most likely become the clan leader (she has my vote), but she is still discussing everything at length with Silverface (who also has my vote).
