The committee members for the investigation into the Sector 13 claims have been chosen. Before saying who they are, I'll point out that what their views are IC and whether I thought they would lean a certain way in the investigation had nothing to do with the choices, as you'll see in a moment.

The members of the committee (other than me) are Xenomorph, Burc'ya Dar Skiarta, and Darth Malon.

I chose Xeno and Burc'ya because they were the only two of those who expressed interest who were not part of the hearing into the Battle of Ando Prime, and so I wanted to make sure that other Senate RPers got a chance to be in a hearing rather than choosing all of the same people again..

Then I had to choose between Sam, Weiss, and Malon, so I decided to role a dice. 1-2 were Sam, 3-4 were Weiss, and 5-6 were Malon. I rolled a 5, so Malon was the third choice.

So IC, the committee is:

- Chairman Ahdam Bac of Alderaan
- Senator Qätär Avaelous of Shar'Ack
- Senator Aaron Kipper of Corellia
- Senator Orion Yar of Anaxes

As said in the interest thread, the actual RP thread will go up once I've gotten the write up of evidence from Mars and/or Jiang, and once I and the other 3 committee members have had a chance to read it.

Feel free to post here if you have any questions.

The thread goes up on Friday.

As I told you, we were waiting until after today because both Hakim and Will, both of whom are on your witness list, wouldn't be readily available until after today. I myself won't be available tomorrow. Hence Friday.

His personal notifications thread says that his activity would be significantly reduced through Wednesday, so, rather than risk having the thread stall, I chose to wait.

Orion Yar's being replaced by a doppelganger, so we wouldn't know that the real one is dead.

though as I was saying I " thought" I read something about bio-scanning and what not months ago and the hard core clamp down in security for even senators and the chancellor themselves. this after the original Hutt attack on the senate, the abduction of VIP's off and on from the rotunda building itself, and the general state of the war.

the bio thing I will ask fuzz butt about, so I won't say thats 100% but makes sense when there are several shape shifting species.

Senate guard is also in chamber during a session or " anywhere" a senator or other is around - the blue guard as a group do have a few force users too so they " may" be able to notice something off.

This is just more or less noteworthy But story is always fun too.

Yeah. If bio-scanning pops out of nowhere, and hasn't been used before now in senate rps/said anywhere else, I'm diffidently going to a rp Admin.

Meta-gaming isn't nice.

Who needs bio-scanners when Force users will find out anyway?

EDIT: Also, recently Es Cade has shown that security around the Senate is weak. Security might be buffed.

Because we all know force users constantly read every senators mind, and no non-fs have the ability to protect themselves, right?

Yes, but if security is magically buffed just after this it's called meta-gaming.

Force users couldn't do it. In The Clone Wars season 2, the first arc involves a shapeshifter successfully infiltrating the Jedi temple.

Also, increased security against shapeshifters (while the Hutts are in the middle of a shapeshifting plot) seems convenient at best.

Actually, increasing security has been talked about by Es Cade oocly before you had the Orion kidnapping. The problem is that it didn't happen first ICly since I was waiting on others to post in Skysitter Luncheon.

EDIT:
Adena's checking to see if Jiang did put something like in the past, which she thinks he did. Just because it's not put into view all the time, doesn't mean it isn't being used. Sorry for the Republic not being stupid as to not check for authentication after several shapeshifters did a lot of damage to them a few years ago.
