Arkanian Universal Technologies Corporation was born from a bright idea at a kitchen table from the married minds of Karvlin and Lithia Nenvite. At first it was just a dream, nurtured and cared for like a child, but with the added interest from outside sources AUT Corp became a small business with in Arkania. First they started with bio-engineering, since that was Lithia's speciality. With the profits of that they grew with three other branches; mining, ship building, and weapons and armor. The company was funded with funds from Karvlin, lithia and the parents of the 2. Additional funding was gained from private investors and bank investments / loans.
AUT Corp: Bio-Engineering
Specifically focused on augmenting the living body for better performance and sustainability, the Bio wing of AUT Corp operates on a case by case basis, keeping the laboratory functions to bare minimum between clients. Most research and development is done in the same facility, just at a fraction of the level to save on resources and the electric bill. Bio-Engineering also operates a production facility on arkania where medpacks, stims, kolto tanks, med kits, medical equipment, life support packs, advanced medpacs and legal drugs ranging from aspirin to pain killers. This department operates 1 research corvette for the use of researching medical discoverys in the galaxy, emergency medical aid drops to war torn planets which includes not only materials but also doctors and surgeons.
1 AUT-Corp 'Orus' Medical Research Vessel

Description: sacrificing firepower for more space and cargohold this vessel is meant for researching medical applications aboard the ship and on other planets, often traveling to worlds like manaan, alderaan and other prime research worlds to catch up on the latest action
Purpose: Transportation of personnel, Transportation of emergency supply aid, transportation of emergency medical personnel and the research of anything medical.
AUT Corp: Mining
At the moment all operations are done on Arkania, searching for the best and most untainted diamonds with in the planet's depths. Anything of value is assessed by a quality control team. The very best is kept for AUT Corp, while the rest is sold off for profit. much work is being done to secure more contracts to open and build mines on Arkania but not just diamond mines but also gold mines and raw material mines (iron ore, cortosis ore ) This branch uses 2 Large mining barges to fullfill mining contracts gained through bargaining with planetary goverments. Mining is done on worlds such as bespin, peragus and ord cestus and many more.
2 AUT Corp 'Taurus' Large Mining Barge

Weaponry: 30 Mining Lasers, 10 Tractor beams
Description: This ship was built for asteroid, planet mining and for the transportation of goods, resources and can easily be retrofitted to transport perosonnel if necessary. it has low armor plating to give it more space but in return a pretty strong shield system has been installed. Since these ships are often prey of pirates they are always escorted by 5 starfighters and 5 bombers.
Purpose: Asteroid Mining, Planetary mining, Transportation of resources, goods, personnel,
AUT CORP: Ship Building
WIth only one berth in a space station over Arkania the largest ship that can be built is a battleship. Every large contract has to be done one by one. Star fighters and bombers are built in the same location, done two at a time on an assembly line. The money this branch earns is steady as it isnt very hard to aquire a contract between building times so that once a ship is finished construction on another can begin immediatly. Starfighters and bombers are always in high demand due to the war and are sold quite quickly once they are finished building. Deals for special commisioned fighters and bombers are occassionaly gotten and accepted but are obviously with a higher cost then usual.
AUT Corp: Defense Branch
Working hand in hand with Bio-Engineering this branch mainly focuses on commissioned research, development, and procurement. Each client is assessed on a one on one level, to ensure quality and perfection. Single personnel suits, handguns, rifles, heavy weapons and artillery are the most commonly asked for products. The company is currently trying to expand this branch by procuring enough funds to build a decent production plant to mass produce pistols, rifles, ammo and standard issue armor. Deals with large scale weapons dealers are being arranged so that when the production plant is up they can immediatly be shipped to them and sold to the public market.
