Azathoth​

There is little about Aza to be discovered that she would not willingly tell anyone who deigned to ask. She was born to parents on some irrelevant backwater that no one cares about and likewise, in just the same way, most people have never really cared about Aza either. One of her earliest memories is her mother leaving through the front door of their shitbox of a house, slamming the door behind her and never returning.

Aza never really bothered to find out why her mother walked out on her family, not even when she finally tracked the woman down nearly two decades later. Of course, there wasn't much time for blissful reunions. Choking on your own blood while a knife was plunged repeatedly into your chest would have that effect, after all.

Her father passed in his sleep several years after Aza's mother left them, doctors telling the young girl it was probably due to some kind of heart condition. Aza didn't really care the reason why, all she knew was that now she was nothing but alone in the galaxy. It was then that she decided to leave her shitty backwater behind, stowing away on the first freighter she could manage to sneak onto and not caring in the slightest where it went.

Whether by fate or by the force, the freighter was taking purchased slaves to a Sith. Aza had been discovered a few days into the voyage while trying to steal some food meant for the slaves, and had been tossed into the cages along with them. The Sith man sensed the force within her and instead of sentencing her to a life toiling away in whatever nightmarish circumstances the other slaves were destined, decided to train her in the ways of the darkside as his apprentice instead.

Aza took to the teachings well and showed a particular aptitude for sorcery and alchemy. Her original master has long since passed into the void but Aza remembers him fondly, and thanks the darkside that she was able to find a path in her life through him.

Now a Champion in the Sith order, Azathoth's ambition is limitless and her power with the mystical arts only continues to grow.
