Jenica was annoyed and was about to yell back a response when she noticied how handsome the man looked up close. She looked and found the identification showing he was called Rikki. A nice name she thought before she shook the thought from her head they were in combat after all. "Sorry about that I just thought I could get the rifles with some assistance and then hold them off for the rest of you to reach us. Still we have taken some of them down. What is our next course of action sir?" she asked looking at Rikki in expectation.

Rikki greeted Jenica with a flicker of a grin as he raised his head and realized Dran had been travelling close behind him while they had progressed their way to the supply crates.
"What are you waiting for grab a rifle and-"
"Argh!!!" Several bolts dug themselves into Drall's body as he fell backward and collided with the ground.Rikki rushed over and gave the soldier a few light slaps on the face.
"Damn..unconsious..looks like the rounds knocked him out cold."Rikki sighed.
"Ok Dran, get an EMP out and hold position here and keep the Supply crates secure for .Jenica you and I will fall back up the stairs and get to higher ground on the walkways and provide cover fire while Alhan and Alyssa make their way to the Supply Depot.If we all stay here,they'll pin us down and outflank us for sure."
Rikki spoke into his comm link.
"Alhan, Alyssa, I need you guys to help Dran hold the line while Jenica and I reach our next position.Alyssa you have command over those downstairs.Jenica and I will snipe out the droids from above."
"Alright let's move!" Rikki said as he prepared to dash to the stairway opposite the side of the opposing enemy droids.

Dran smiled as he rose a blaster. He got to do what he did best: Shoot anything that tries to shoot back. He let off a rapid stream of fire at all the droids around him. He ducked and weaved around their fire but stayed in relatively the same spot. A group of them began to flank him so he jumped backwards. Their only option was to merge back into a group. Instead of flanking again they realized they could beat him with the numbers. More and more of them came close to Dran and he let out so many shots that his finger began to ache. He began to use both hands but eventually they ached too. He attempted to solve the problem by letting out a burst of shots with one arm and then a burst with the other. He was defending well but not much was happening. "Someone help me get these guys!" Dran called.

Abelle's hand hovered over an over sized red button. If any more of the recruits fell in this exercise she would be forced to end it. Another officer stood in the background, "Welcome, sir. What do you think of Rikki?"
"He seems like a good leader, but he isn't ready yet." The voice growled from behind her.
"Should I end this now? I doubt Noth can take much more before he goes down." Abelle rest her hand on the button now, not pressing it though.
"End it."
Abelle pressed the button heavily and klaxons in the room blared. She opened the hidden door in the back of the room and stepped out. "This drill is over! Squad! Front and center!" She stood at parade rest and waited for them to line up. Once they were in line, one cadet holding the others up. "I think some of you may have survived the encounter but the loss of even one soldier is unacceptable. This squad followed orders well but put their lives in more danger than need be. You had enough grenades to knock out the droids and get to the guns safely before they would have had a chance to react. You did not and instead took a chance."
Abelle held out her hand. "I would like my personal effects back, Takemaru."

As Dran walked to Abelle he silently ripped off the heads of several droids. He also helped up the fallen member of the squad. "I was just starting to have fun," he mumbled to himself.

Before Rikki could even get a foot of the ground.his training session had been brought to an extreme halt.A overwhelming frown spread across his face like a viral infection.Upon reading the battlefield, he began to think about his previous actions.Taking a second to look at the wounded men, he began to think in another perspective.
What if this wasn't actually a practice?What if things really did turn out like this?He would then have the blood of two soldiers that trusted their lives in his hands, just as his sister had done.Would he fail them just as he had done with his sister?Would he forfeit yet another life due primarily because of his own reckless actions.Reckless actions cost him his sister,and he sure as hell wasn't going to let a thing like that to cost him his squad.
As he rushed over he fell in along with the remainder of the cadets in front of Abelle.
In reponse to Abelle Riki spoke his opinion ambitously. "I apologize for my acts of recklessness.I realized that I've endangered the lives of both men and women and my first attempts at leadership skills were rendered ineffective in the field. But as we know the Elavator to sucess is often out of order,so we must use the stairs, step by step and I have taken but the first step -Failure Ma'am. And I can say this without a doubt from personal experience. We learn little from victory, much from defeat. And I'm sure I speak for all of us, when I say we've got a lot to learn before we meet, no surpass the military standards of the people. We are expected by the public to be stronger, faster, smarter than the rest of the Galatic Republic. We do not rise to the level of our expectations.In reality we only fall to the level of our training. Nothing is ever so great as the relationship between student and master.a fool who asks is but a fool for five minutes, but a fool who doesn't ask is a fool for a lifetime.They say that when the student is ready the master appears.It is up for the teacher to open the door, before the student enters himself. So I knock on your door and ask you to teach me how to be a better leader ma'am, so that I may lead others."
There had only been one time Rikki had ever remembered himself acting in this manner.That was when he had been taken under the wings of his old master Lei.Never had he had shown as much determination in anything in his life.

"Takemaru, you will not be squad leader. There is a manual access in teh elevator, you could have climbed up through the top." Her words were like ice, she clearly did not approve of Rikki speaking out of turn. "Soldiers learn by surviving, not by losing. Thats for games and competitions. You don't learn when you have a hole in your skull."

Rikimaru's heart sank and his mind shattered, attemoting to regain composure he simply said. "Understood Ma'am!" Contemplating on her words, he remembered the first time he requested training from his old master.The answer was just as cold and just as sharp.
Jenica had fallen in alongside the other recruits and listened to their commanding officer lash out at Rikki. She disagreed with how harsh the CO wa sbeing but it wasn't her place to speak out against the officer. Maybe later when they returned to the barracks she would sit and have a talk with Rikki to see if everything was ok as he seemed quite hurt by the woman's remarks.

She then motioned to the area around this. "Now look at the damage to the area around us. Look at how very close you all came to dying at any given moment. What was probably once a very well kept training room is now a smoking dump." It was true, the room was destroyed but it would be repaired quickly and easily. This room was made to be destroyed. Most military buildings were made to be able to take damage and then be repaired quickly.
"Grab a few more clips and everyone needs a rifle. If you do not have one please grab one from the gun locker." She pointed to where Rikki had earlier retrieved weapons from the locker. "Once you have done that, give your weapon to me. Unfortunately I have to record which rifles are issued. In that time you will be allowed to return to your barracks and gather what you need for five days- no civilization."
She paused for a moment and realized they were still at attention. "Oh, you can do all this now." She was going to give the recruits time to talk amongst themselves without their commanding officer around. It was a chance for them to take a short break and also they needed to prepare for the 'trip' they would take.

Alyssa walked up to the power cell dispenser, grabbing several blaster clips. After she finished stocking up, she walked over to Abele, pulling off the strap holding the carbine around her shoulder.
"Sargent, this will be my weapon. It's a customized DP9-T heavy carbine. A short rifle, but I prefer it's power and accuracy over the more standardized rifles."

Alyssa went to the weapons rack to scan out a lighter weapon. She was used to fighting harshly, so the call for less weighty weaponry was a bit different from what she was used to. As she scanned the rack, Alyssa noticed a blaster model she didn't recognize. Picking it up, Alyssa examined the rifle over. Rikki combed through his head with his fingers and sighed.He walked over to the weapons locker and chuckled as he noticed a few dents in it from their previous training session. He analyzed all the weapons, picking each one up and shouldered them just to get a feel of gun he would be prepared to use. He had a especially nice degree of satisfaction with the T-28 Repeating Sniper Rifle. It provided a great amount of reliability in Mid-Long range aspects because of its rapid fire capabilities, Accuracy, and precision. Rikki strapped the Rifle around his shoulder and walked pass Alyssa.
"Hmm...Mk-21 model...much lighter than it's big brother the T-21 light repeater...slightly less fire rate but less recoil.Nice choice."Rikki complimented as he brought presented his weapon of choice to Abelle.

Taking a datapad out of a shirt pocket she wrote down a few specs. "Very good, leave them in a line and go get your gear. You'll need enough gear for three days, so bring some stuff for this damn rain."
Jenica had chosen a simple blaster pistol and had a vibro blade tucked into a holster on her belt. then satisfied with her choice she walked back over the the sergeant. "Sergeant I have this blaster pistol and my vibro blade with me. Hope thats ok I prefer to get in close to the enemy its where I uh have better skills" she said throwing on a smile so that the sergeant wouldn't question where she had picked up those skills from.
