Basic Training.( ASK-Rikki Takemaru, Dran Noth, Jenica Rhade and Alyssa Taligan)

[Rikki Takemaru]

Rikki gave a suspicious glare and scratched his nose gently.

"What kind of Rebulic Army soldier uses a vibroblade rather than a gun..."Rikki asked.

Rikki took his personal survival kit and a stealth field generater and put on a boonie hat to keep the rain out of his eyes. He decided to travel light only packing what would be necessary.He grabbed a canteen from his backpack and began to take a quick sip to stay hydrated for their 3-day journey.

Dran set about getting everything he needed systematically. Eventually he had a survival kit prepared. For the damned rain he brought a jacket and a hat. There really wasn't much he could do about it.

When he had everything he needed he walked over to Rikki and said quietly, "The kind who has had other kinds of training."

 

[Ru the Boatswain]

"Good, then." The raised a thumb and pointed it out the door, "Now go, I don't want to waste time." She returned to her datapad and began scribbling down more information. They all assumed combat, but in reality they would probably see very little.

 

[Rikki Takemaru]

Ricky put on his camo boonie hat and uniform with had a hoodie feature, but he left the hood hang behind his shoulders.He took a few steps outside and waited for the others to regroup.

"Other training huh...just like the Galatic Army.. they'll take in just about anyone especially if they had prior weapon skills.Now what would she have been before the Army?" Rikki mumbled as he folded his arms and leaned up against a wall, staring up at the sky.

Jenica nodded to the sergeant and walked over to where she could pack some supplies. She heard Rikki say something but wasn't sure what he had said and so put it out of her mind whilst she packed in the few ration packs she would need, some basic utensils, a datapad as well as a glow torch for when it got dark. Then closing the bag's top she swung the pack onto her back after putting on a hooded cloak that would protect from the rain as well as hiding her face from most points of view. Then she walked outside ignoring the rain as it struck her cloak and dripped off to the ground. Spotting Rikki looking at the sky she smiled at him as she watched.

Returning a warm smile back at Jenica he shouted "So, where to Sarge?"

((/Facepalm. never mind...I'll just ..yeah.))

After finishing the required paperwork and yelling at a few select people over the short range radio she grabbed a pack and slid it onto her back. She then grabbed what was obviously a rifle in a waterproof case. "Form up!" Abelle now wore a loose fitting jacket and had replaced the large brimmed hat with a Barret. She looked completely prepared for what they could need.

"On this mission we will be doing a full border patrol. We first go four kilo's out and then follow a path for the entire distance and then return to base. It shouldn't be difficult but sometimes we run into trouble." And we sure as hell better not run into trouble, 'cause we'd get fragged in two seconds flat.

"Questions?"

Jenica listened to the sergeant expalin their orders whilst ignoring the rain that continued to strike her cloak. "No sergeant no questions here. I am not sure of the others though" replied Jenica turning to face the other members of the team.

"No questions," Dran said absentmindedly as mose of his concentration was put into twirling his blaster with one hand.

 

[Ru the Boatswain]

Looking back over this inexperienced group she turned and began walking. "Move out, I want a single file line, Jenica in front, Dran you bring up the rear. I want you sharp and attentive, don't get distracted." She didn't want to have to tell them more than once to be alert, but she knew she would have to tell them again.

They traveled along the first four kilometers safely, the road was secure for the most part, they would need to be alert for the next part of their mission. When they arrived at their checkpoint Abelle called them to a halt. And ordered them inside one of the buildings at the outpost.

"From here we will travel the entire circumference of the base. It is approximately thirty-seven miles. Because we are not traveling light it should take us two days. Every two kilometers there is an outpost, when we arrive at each you get a break. When we arrive at 'midway' we will stop for the night." She looked across the room at her squad. Hoping for maybe a few of them would find something clever to say, "Tired?"

Jenica was taking a small and quick breather whilst working out the small part of cramp that hasd started in the back of her legs. Walking for a long amount of time wasn't anything new to her after growing up from her childhood but because she was didn't have the time to warm up her muscles were starting to ache. As she gently pushed and pulled back on one leg she listened to the sergeant explain what they were out here for. "No ma'am not tired just working out the cinks if you know what i mean" replied Jenica to the question of them being tired.

They went on their rounds and learned valuable lessons about being soldiers and how to work as a squad and as soldiers. They all lived happily ever after.
