Hutt Cartel
Bounty Drop-Off Acquisition Office

4TXkreA.jpg

huttcartel.png

The Bounty Acquisition Office building is located in the center of Nal Hutta where it is most protected by the Hutt Cartel. The large grand-scale entry hall is built with multiple countermeasures to ensure the safety and protection of the agents who serve the Cartel, including numerous armed guards and sentry cannons that lone the ceiling. A built in mini-prison hidden beneath the ground, on the basement levels, this office houses criminals and completed contracts that come off of the Cartels Bounty board. A place where any and all completed bounties are to be brought so that a certain level of organization is kept.

Any bounty that is completed must be brought here. In a single post, including the name of the bounty and the link to the corresponding thread, please IC'ly submit your bounty.

THREAD: Here

The newly-constructed Acquisitions Office was a sight to behold, and as she strolled through the automatic doorway, Vica couldn't help but grin to herself. The Hutts sure thought of everything, she mused, taking a look at the small holo-directory that laid out the location of the holding cells, the payment offices, and so on. Behind her, a burly and rugged looking Boltrunian stood with the lithe form of a male Zeltron slung over one shoulder, and while the load was light it was clear that they'd traveled a long way to get where they were going. Grunting to let his presence be known, Vi shooed him back dismissively. "Yeah, yeah. We're pretty much done, hold your kybucks. Looks like we're dropping him off.. Here," she said, curiously pointing a finger through the projected image, selecting a small cell for low-risk prisoners. Taking off down the surprisingly clean corridors with a bit of a spring in her step, she swiped her ID card at the first empty cell and stepped aside. The Boltrunian gave Jakob a not-so-gentle throw into the cage, standing up straight to roll his shoulders and crack his neck, finally free of the slightly damp, snoring cargo.

Dusting her palms off as though she'd had to lift a finger to get Jakob squared away, the half-Zeltron pulled a pair of credit chits from her back pocket, easing them into the palm of her associate's hand. "Two thousand, as promised." Behind them, the unfortunate bounty slowly started to regain consciousness, which was Vica's cue to head toward the payment booth and wash her hands of the assignment once and for all.

Bounty: D-5YQ
Participant(s): Damia Seles
Thread: Here

Erasing D-5's memory, was easy for someone with Damia's skills, and was one of the first things she'd done when she'd "liberated" the malfunctioning droid from the shop it had ended up in. Fixing the malfunction had been a bit more of a challenge, but not as hard as actually getting the droid had been. Damia was lucky she'd made it out without getting shot or killed in some other horrific manner. She didn't know why anyone would want to do this for living, it didn't take a degree in economics to figure out the credits to not getting your ass blown off ratio was heavily skewed in favor of the latter. But all of that paled in comparison to actually getting the damn droid to the Bounty Acquisition Office. When it was malfunctioning it hadn't been hard to tell it to shutup, but after she'd fixed it wouldn't stop talking. On the trip over it had started to drive her insane, so she unhooked the vocabulator. She was sure the cartel boys would be able to figure that one out when they got their hands on.

It was dark outside by the time she'd gotten there, but it always seemed kind of dark on Nar Shaddaa. Nevertheless it was the time that most of the world's inhabitants would consider "night" so the area was more densely packed than normal. Nar Shaddaa never really slept but all the reputable and disreputable businessmen likes to come out at night, which meant all the bounty hunters were trying to get their prizes in before they could blow their new earned wealth at one of the Smuggler's Moon's infamous parties.

She was still having to drag the droid by the arm to get it to go anywhere in a timely manner as she entered the massive building, and headed over to the dropoff area for droids. Ironically it was being handled by a droid, a protocol unit that looks ages more advanced than D-5.

"Business," The droid stated, or rather asked in an incredibly monotone voice for a modern droid. Not that Damia was complaining, the sooner she could get this done, the sooer she could go relax. Searching, a lot of walking, almost getting killed...it had been a helluva day, and she'd like to get off her feet for an extended period of time.

"Drop off," She replied just as succinctly. She handed over the datapad which contained the information for the bounty, and the information on how she'd found it, where, and who she'd met. The Cartel Droid scanned it, no doubt storing all that information away for someone to review. If someone didn't find things satisfactory with the way she'd handled it no doubt they'd reach into her account and pull the credits back out. If she was fortunate enough to have not spent them yet, if not kriff knew what horrible things they'd do to get her to repay the debt. It handed the datapad back to her, and held its manipulator arm out, for her to give it the damaged memory unit she'd specified in the report. She dug it out of her pocket, and gave it to the Cartel Droid, and then let D-5 go.

"One moment," The Cartel droid told her, taking hold of D-5 itself, and leading it off to...wherever it was the Cartel put droid bounties. Somehow Damia doubted they went to the same cells as organic prisoners, especially since the droid was some higher ups property. She waited on the droid for a few minutes, before starting to wonder whether the Cartel was really going to pay her, or just leave her hanging there. It was almost half an hour before the Cartel Droid actually returned, and by that point she was almost ready to storm out, not that it noticed.

"Transaction complete, payment has been worried to your listed account. Thank you for your service," The droid said, handing her a small chip that had info on the deal, and acted as a sort of receipt.

"Gee thanks," She replied dryly, but didn't leave. Instead she checked her account on her datapad just to make sure everything was on the up and up. And there it was a four followed by three zeroes. If she wasn't so tired she might go hit up a party herself in celebration. As worn out from the days events as she was though, she just planned on heading home, and enjoying being somewhat less poor.

The four followed by four zeros turned into a six followed by four zeros. The shock that must have come over the no longer-virgin bounty hunter undoubtedly caused her to look up at the service droid in question. Certainly if there was a mistake in calculations and it went unreported, those would know that they were in for a shitstorm. Though the droid understood her confusion and replied short and concise.

"For repairing the droid and disposing of a shop owners valuables. A debt paid by the Cartel."

The shop she had busted into was not affiliated with the Catel, though now that the Rodian has learned more about Nar Shaddaa and who not to mess with, there will be certain profits that he will pay for protection.

Excellent job and a great read. you will be added to the Leaerboards!!

BOUNTY: Barge Duro

THREAD: HERE

____________________________________

Arkantos dragged a large woven sack through the halls of the Acquisition Office. "Well, this is new... nice." he muttered with a bit of wonderment. He had heard that the Hutt's had finally finished the center for their bounties, and by the Force was it nice. Within the bag was the Bounty. Barge wasn't complying to move, and therefore, Arkantos thought of this. Not his proudest or smartest idea, but it was his cheapest and fastest. As he stepped to the clerk, he kept his face hidden behind the helmet visor of his armor. "Elohim Aeon. I have a bounty here, Barge Duro." he spoke, as the woman behind the desk simply smiled, clicking some things in her new computer terminal.

"Oh yes, here you are. Welcome to the Bounty retrieval. Very good, Mr. Aeon. We'll be transferring your credit amounts to the account you've set up. Thank you for your work." the woman said politely with the smile ever prevalent in her face and two Gammorreans appeared from behind some room to drag away the Herglic to his new home. Arkantos was simply glad to get his payment and put away someone who damaged so many lives. This would hopefully be the last time anyone ever saw Barge Duro.

Bounty: Bethany Halaway
Participant(s): Damia Seles
Thread: Here

The trip back from Naboo to Nar Shaddaa hadn't been the most fun that Damia had ever taken. The ship Bethany used to get from Naboo to Hutt Space wasn't the most comfortable, even if it was fast. Bethany, the bounty herself, had managed to make quite a racket for someone locked in the bathroom and gagged. Damia could only knock her out so many times before she got worried about brain damage. She really didn't care, but the Hutts might and there's was the opinion that mattered in this case. She also hadn't been able to drug her for the same reasons, not being a doctor certainly had its disadvantages when some human was making a racket that made it impossible to fly the ship straight. That and most of the meds she did have were going towards easing the pain of her broken ribs. And after all that she got to go on another thrilling adventure trying to find a landing pad on Nar Shaddaa that wasn't hideously expensive, claimed, or run by someone who'd take your money, and then the ship. She supposed the higher ups in the Cartel just parked in Calrissian Hall's hangars or their own private pads, which would certainly be easier. But at least she'd found one that wasn't too far from her apartment and seemed to be on the level. Assuming the repulsorlifts didn't fail leading the pad to plummet to the ground.

Dragging Bethany into the hall was easier than it had been trying to get her off the ship. Then she'd kicked, tried to scream, gone limp, the works. But by now she'd realized that it wasn't going to do her much good and seemed quietly resigned to her fate. What that fate was, Damia had no idea, but couldn't imagine it was anything good. From what the bounty itself had said they were probably going to use her as leverage to destroy the Halaway's as financial backers for slave liberation organizations. Same as it was when she'd brought in the droid, all Damia had to do was hand Bethany over, wait a little bit and then walk back out. Damia still didn't like slavery, but she liked the credits from turning the woman in more. People like Bethany just didn't understand. Hutt Space had worked this way for a very, very long time, and it would take more than some bored heiress from Naboo to change things. Maybe things should change, but Damia could honestly care less if they did as long as she kept making credits.

A male Bothan sat on the other side of the large desk. Watching from afar, from the beginning of the grand hall, the Mirilan walk a chained Human towards his desk. It was obvious why they were here, and it was clear that the bounty had been alive. The Bothan took down all the information about the bounty, after finding it over his database. Bethany Halaway had been a problem for the Cartel no more, and she would certainly pay for her crimes. As the hundreds of people who specialized in torture of the body and mind would have at it with the rebellious Human.

Though none of that would matter. The Bothan had a couple of Gamorrean guards take the female Human and proceed to walk her to a prison underground. The Bothan dismissed Damia, assuring her that the credits would be in her account automatically. Though she would find that her account was raised by 14,000 Credits instead of 9,000. Another token for taking out the Wookiee slave that not many would be able to do. Though Damia had no idea, or how the Cartel would even know.

Bounty Letti Romino
Participants Clarissa Specter
Link

OOC Note: This one is rather short. This is to more give her an exposition, showing how much of a badass she is. In all reality, this would be a very simple mission for her.

Clarissa entered the bounty acquisition office on Nal Hutta. She always liked those types of buildings, and the way her boots made loud echoes throughout their halls. It had always given her an impressive, intimidating sound as she strode about in her maroon armor, emblazoned with the crest of the Hutt Cartel. Behind her, bound by a rope, was a one handed man that looked very confused and would occasionally look down at his stump of a right arm with a look that said "Where did it go?"

The ex-Chiss Special Forces Operator approached the desk, with a bored look on her face. "Clarissa Specter here, got Letti Romino here for processing. He's intact...mostly." then she dropped the doctor's hand on the desk. "All the parts are still there."

THREAD: Here.

"Little help, here?"

It was a box, no different than the ones that lined the walls of countless freighters, holding any number of unseen delights from weapons to spice to credits to, in this case, a body, which was less delightful but certainly quite lucrative. And while it's contents weren't particularly heavy, dragging it from the back of her ship to the Acquisitions Office had been less than pleasant, and the blonde-haired woman could take no more.

"Seriously," she shouted, raising her voice in an attempt to hide her growing impatience, leaning on the durasteel lid as a pair of Bothans came walking out to the front steps, summoned by the ruckus. Sliding off to stand and make a slight gesture at the cargo container, as though there could be some doubt as to what she needed assistance with, Vica watched as the employees lifted the container of Drua's remains and easily carried them inside. Apparently just dragging the damn thing around wasn't the most efficient way to do things - but she wasn't willing to pay anyone to help her move the body, not when she could do it herself. It just took a little bit of time. Following the ginger-furred men inside, she swung the backpack off her back and plopped it up on the front desk, tossing an ID card, a wallet, and a few miscellaneous belongings - a brand-new blaster pistol, a holo-diary, and the infamous datapad that had gotten her into trouble in the past - onto the counter with a sigh. She was tired.

But hell, if she wasn't happy as the proverbial cat who'd caught the canary - if the canary in question was a lying sack of slime who'd made her look like a fool not once, but twice, in her fairly short bounty hunting career.

"Dr. Letti Romino..." The attendant had searched through the database for the bounty contract, reviewed it, and reviewed the mission specs for the completion of the bounty. Everything seemed to be cleared up, and the hand wasnt really an issue as long as the Dr. didnt bleed out. The Doctor was carted off on a repusler lift style gurney and brought some medical attention. Nothing would be done about his mental health, seeing as he was an insane man, but the nub of his hand would be preserved.

As Clarissa walked away to check her account, however, she would notice that the balane came to 16,000 credits higher than original instead of 19,000. The reason being that the small explosion had cost the Cartel some of the weapons in the cache. Nonetheless her name was posted on the leaderboards of the most accomplished bounty hunters that the Cartel had, and that was a reward in and of itself.

Arkantos paced through the grand entrence of the acquisition office yet again, a nearly destroyed bow with various bullet holes and blood. While he felt guilty now even returning, it would be good to let the Hutt's know they'd have no more problems. That's ultimately what they wanted, it seemed. He didn't even care much if they didn't pay him the full amount for not returning the body, and they wouldn't. She had received a Jedi funeral, despite she didn't even fully train as one, Arkantos believed she was worthy enough for it. The Mandalorians had a similar rite of death, by fire, which was also by extension her worth as a warrior.

"This is all that remains. Her bow. I've kept her helmet. That's all that was left." he said almost silently, as the usual happy woman behind the desk simply typed away, continuing on with her own life. "Well thank you Mr. Aeon! I'm sure the Cartel will be very pleased to hear that!" she commented keeping the smile on her face. Behind Arkantos' helmet his face almost looked totally disgusted. "Aye." he muttered, as he left the bow on the desk. He walked away, not even sure if he was payed, but he didn't care. So was gone now, one way or another. And all he could think of is how great she could of been, had the others not found them.

Bounty: Tyler Durden
Participant(s): Damia Seles
Thread: Here

The trip back to upper levels of Nar Shaddaa had certainly been one of the more interesting Damia had had. Everyone on the transport speeder had started a little, it wasn't every day you saw a Mirialan woman in black body armor, with dried blood caked over it, carrying a few guns, and with a helmet that a guys head in it. Even on Nar Shaddaa that was kinda a rare occurrence.

She hadn't wasted any time getting to the Bounty Office. As much as she wanted to go find a spa and relax, she didn't have room in her refrigerator for Durden's head to stay persevered. Unlike the people on the transport though, the people in the Bounty Office saw this sort of thing all the time, and worse. No one paid much attention to her as she proceeded to the drop off point, and set the helmet down on one of the employees counters, and lifted it up to reveal the mans head. The bounty had said alive or dead, so she hoped there wasn't too much of a cut for dead. The guy had been certifiably crazy, and she wasn't strong enough to drag him all the way up here. Bethany Halaway had been a featherweight compared to Durden. The Employee donned a pair of gloves before removing the head from the counter and carrying it to the back. When he came back he had Damia filled out a form for information on what she was dropping off, which bounty it was for, and everything. Even criminal enterprises like the Cartel had a heart of bureaucracy. While Damia filled it out, the employee cleaned the counter off. No doubt using soaps and cleaners that Durden would've tried to blow sky high if he hadn't been going insane, and his gang abandoning him.

When it was all said and done, Damia was heading home to take off the armor, hang up her guns, and then going back out to find the best spa place in Nar Shaddaa's Red Light Sector to unwind.

Bounty: Farr Nial

Thread: Here
____________________________________________________

Pulling up to the exterior of the Cartel's acquisition office on his speeder bike. Rook deftly dismounted and turned to his passenger. Farr Nial, now fully conscious and quite agitated lay on his stomach across the back end of Rook's bike. He nursed a duo of gunshot wounds and a missing appendage, and as such he was unable to walk under his own power. Hefting the hogtied alien up and over his shoulder, he slowly and carefully walked into the building and up to the receptionist counter.

Not an easy task for someone of his size, considering the height and weight of his passenger. Honestly the job of hauling the struggling Rodian up to the front desk seemed more difficult than actually capturing him.

Finally reaching the front desk, he dropped Farr with a loud thud onto the hard ground, giving him a swift kick to the ribs to silence his belly aching. Tipping his hat to the woman behind the counter, he gestured to the floor in front of the desk before speaking.

" Mornin' Ma'm. Bagged me one Farr Nial. "

Looking back down at the Rodian's stumped arm where his left hand had once been, the receptionist gave him an accusing look.

" Now don't go concernin' yerself over such things darlin'. His sin was takin' what was valuable to the Hutts, so I took something of value from him. I doubt he'll make the same mistake twice though, he couldn't afford it. "

Rook laughed at his own crude joke, smacking his hand against the desk as he did so. He woman behind the counter looked less than pleased however, but alive was alive. Even if he was missing a couple pieces. Clicking away at the computer for several seconds the receptionist finally responded.

" Thank you Mister Maverick, the credits have been transferred to your account. Have a nice day. "

With that said and done, Rook tipped his hat once more and turned to leave the acquisition office.

I gradually dragged in my worthless scum of a bounty and threw him to the ground inside the requisition office. The Mandalorian and the Mon Calamari smuggler entered the Bounty Acquisition Office building. The facility itself was filled with upon layers and layers of security. As they both approached the front desk, a cartel scanning droid appeared before them. The Acquisition desk clerk looked up at the Mandalorian.

"Please state the your name and the name of your bounty."

The droid began scanning both the hunter and the Mon calamari.

"Logan Rax. Bounty: Till Memes."

"Identity Confirmed. Bounty identity Confirmed."

"I'll expect my pay to be transferred in the usually manner."

The Mandalorian walked off, heading to the docking bay where his ship was located.

Cana Arkiss allowed Daphne to walk freely on her own, clutching her broken shoulder, but otherwise unharmed. He growled deeply, startling her each time she turned in a manner he didn't appreciate, and he stayed ready to pounce should she try to run. She seemed incredibly frightened to be in the Hutt building, and she was crying as they reached the desk. Two mean looking guards laughed at her, and Cana placed his large taloned paw upon her shoulder. A protocol droid spoke from behind the desk.

"Please state your name, and the name of your bounty." it asked demandingly.

Cana spoke, his wolfish voice startling Daphne from behind, "Cana Arkiss, of Clan Fett. My prey is Daphne Portello." He waited for a few moments while the droid calculated his response. It then pressed a button, and another guard came out to escort Daphne to a holding cell.

"Thank you Sir. Identity confirmed. Bounty Identity...confirmed. Our records indicate no accounts listed for Bounty Hunter Cana Arkiss. System protocol setting up account. Please wait...account Cana Arkiss created. We thank you sir, for your business." the droid handed Cana a sheet containing any information on his bank he'd need. Though his basic was still a little rough, he quickly memorized the numbers and then shredded the paper with his talons as he turned to head back to the Mandalorian Barracks.

Cana walked into the Bounty Acquisition Office, burlap bag in hand as blood dripped from its contents inside, the top half of the Hunter, save his throat where Cana had ripped it out. He walked up to the receptionist, hefting the heavy sack with one hand onto the desk, startling the Twi'lek girl who had replaced the droid.

"Cana Arkiss, my prey was the Hunter." he stated nonchalantly as he turned around and began to walk away. He grinned as he heard the woman scream from behind him as he neared the door. She must have opened the bag.
