Bounty-Debo Vren
Participant-Chandranath Mingan
Thread- The Hunt for Vren

The trip back from Ando was annoying. He had to spend hours listening to the Aqualish trying to bribe him and talk his way out of having to return to the Hutts. Chandranath had finally gotten tired of hearing him that he gagged him with a scrap of his loin cloth. He had taken a break on the ship as it had slowly made it's way back to Nar Shadda. As the ship landed, Chandranath knocked Debo out again. He caught a ride in a taxi to the Acquisition Office. Chandranath limped through the doors of the Acquisition Office carrying an unconscious Debo over his shoulders. Blood trailed down his leg and shoulder as he walked down the hall. The Shistavanen gladiator growled with each step and with each step blood dripped onto the floor. He continued towards the back, where there was a desk. Debo started coming to as Chandranath walked down the hall.

Thread: Hunt Bounty - Darla Kincaid Freedom slave.

The Acquisition Office was might in bounty’s in and out going. Zorro Feather here likes many before, but it was for a bounty to be pulled off the system not to turn one in. Odd but the reason he was doing this was because a young twilek girl made him laugh or her freedom.

Zorro with Durara following enters the Acquisition Office. The path to the check in center was not far but in this moment it seems like it was. The question the Hapan ask the woman behind the desk had to be said twice as she did not know how to respond, “Darla Kincaid bounty is a no-go. She will no longer be a target and I wish her to be tookin off the broads.”

The woman shook said, “umm, I can’t do that. I’m sorry for your fail bounty but I’m unable to remove her without her here to be claim.”

Zorro slammed the desk with a fist. This made the woman jump in her seat and other around look. Zorro angry, “I want you to take her off the broads know and if you can’t than I want you to put me into contact with the thing that put the bounty up!” With a sigh, the Hapan clam down, he lean over to the woman to add, “Until than put her threat high to anyone who touch her.”

He pulls back up to notice a few Acquisition Office guards have move from their posts and looking at him.
“That be all for now” Zorro said as he turn and left.

Thread: Wild Thing

I walked into the acquisitions office and was really impressed. The entire building perfectly encompassed the Hutt's grandiose style. There were more guns here then on some battlefields. It would take an army just to get into this building and then another to take it down... I liked that. This was my first time entering the halls of the hutts and so far I was impressed. I carried the dead body of the Hutt cartel killer over my left shoulder and carried my datapad in my right hand. I walked up to the desk and showed the droid the required information that I had already input on to the datapad so this transaction would be as swift and painless as possible. The droid instructed me to place the body onto a black slab and I did so glad to have the 230+ lbs off my shoulder. The droid came around to the body which was wrapped in a bag and opened it to scan the face of the gotal. It then took a sample of the creatures DNA and moved back behind the desk.

I stood there for a moment unsure about what was going on but, it made since that the Hutt's would want to be sure we had the right being before the payout. A few minutes later the Droid congratulated me on the completion and said that the reward would be sent to the corresponding accounts. I took my leave of the office and headed back to the ship where Attom was waiting.

THREAD: Here

Re'gi pulled up to the office early in the morning a few days after claiming his prize. In that time he'd made sure to check up on his quarry, making sure to give her enough food and water to weather the journey. When he opened the crate he made sure to press a blaster to her head, but she never struggled. Throughout the entire journey the only thing of note was he incessant crying. Re'gi had made sure to play music loud enough to drown out her cries in the day, but he had to sleep eventually and that's when he heard it, her weeping. She was calling for her father, boo hoo, Re'gi lost his a long time ago and he was just fine.

Cracking his neck he hoisted the crate onto his back as he slowly lugged it inside. The bandages that had been applied to his wrist worked exceedingly fast. Fortunately the front door was automatic and after grunting for directions in Huttese to a clerk he was directed to the cells. Finding the woman's cell waiting for her all furnished with rats and everything, Re'gi slid her into the cell and then unlatched the crate. Slowly it opened and the now pale sickly woman looked around with her unusual sight. The racer extended his arms and said,

"Welcome home"

Turning away from her he walked to the pay out office and got his credits. As he left however, he heard it again

Daddy...daddddy

His ears twitched, she was so far away from him, walls and walls and walls separated them. Shaking his head angrily he headed to his swoop, he needed to drive.

BOUNTY: Tila Niki
PARTICIPANTS: Re'gi Alvanti
THREAD: Here

Re'gi pulled up to the office and felt the grip of his passenger tighten as she read the sign. Bounty Acquisition Office, truly this was the den where all this woman's problems came from. Getting off the bike and turn to her he grabbed her chin lightly and lifted her downcast face to meet his. Pulling her in for a kiss he led her off the bike onto the street,

"You'll be fine,"

Assured enough for now, Tila followed Re'gi into the office where he presented her paperwork to a tired looking Hutt,

"Cell block 15" the Hutt muttered in Huttese

"I'm here to pay her debt," Re'gi said as he slowly placed the credits packet containing the twenty thousand she owed onto the Hutt's desk. For a moment the slug looked through it seeing all the credits were good then the packet disappeared. For a moment the racer thought that was the end of it and waited for the employee to mark her file complete. then suddenly the packet came up slightly heavier and Re'gi looked into to see five more thousand credit chips added in,

"Cell block fifteen" the Hutt repeated with menacing emphasis.

Re'gi looked to Tila and then to the Hutt with shock and confusion. Noting the racer wasn't moving the Hutt beckoned some guards to grab the singer. She began to scream and kick as she was dragged away, her face had a look of pure terror upon it. As Re'gi looked at her one last time as she was dragged towards the cells, he turned away looking down his hands forming hard fists. He then looked to the Hutt who already had its hand over an alarm button ready to press it if the Hutt agent made any dangerous moves. So Re'gi just stared, with hate, for himself, for the Hutt, for everything. Then he turned away.

Outside the office he made his way to his swoop, not sure of where to go or what to do. In his head he heard them.

"Daddy...daddy...."

"Pitter patter rain and a lullaby
gentle breeze and a deeper sigh..."

BOUNTY: Bor Tak
PARTICIPANTS: Re'gi Alvanti
THREAD: Here

Pulling up to the office Re'gi turned to his mark. Bor Tak was a weeping mess with a bum leg, but beyond that he was sound and more importantly he was alive. Gripping him he pulled the Gammorean into the office. Every step caused Bor Tak to cry out and then sniffle causing the other bounty hunters and workers to be disturbed. This didn't last long as Re'gi flashed the papers to a clerk who sent him down the cells.

Moving deep into the complex he placed Bor Tak in cell 47B for processing. Looking upon the ugly face of his prey Re'gi slammed the door. Unlike Tila he didn't feel loss, unlike Jen he didn't feel remorse. It seemed he was finally getting the hang of bounty hunting.

Or he was becoming a monster

The top two Bounty Hunters of the Cartel walked along side each other, each of them boasting a corpse over their shoulder. The envious eyes stared at them as they casually stepped through the grand office, while others were surprised to see the two and intensely kept their gaze at them as they stepped through the halls. They dropped the stiff bodies over the counter in unison, though didn't say a word. Their reputation enough was enough, their faces were plastered across the giant screens, and hologram busts of them were near the entrances. Neither of them had to say a word, as they left their bounties on that counter, walking away from the scene. The two walked out, and as made their way to the exit their holopads went off, notifying them of their sudden credit transaction -- additions to their personal accounts.

They shared a momentary smile, as they split ways out of the building and back to their respective journeys. It would not be the last time they'd see each other. Arkantos simply hoped it wouldn't be long before their next encounter. For now, however, the two had other matters to attend to.

PARTICIPANTS: Re'gi Alvanti and Rook Maverick
THREAD: Here

Re'gi pushed the mark into the acquisitions office. Snarling he watched as the young woman obediently stood before him as he made his way to the registration desk. Filling out some paperwork he got the promised credits transferred to his account and made sure to put half into a holding account for Rook Maverick his partner on the venture.

Once the legal work was done Re'gi took the 'Princess' to her new chambers. Once the door shut he turned away, he didn't think about her or her fate, the racer was done with caring. It only brought him pain. If there was any solace he could take in this it was that he taught the slave a valuable lesson. Hope gets you killed. He had seen so many hopeful racers with crap swoops try the circuit. None of them survived the year. Either they won a race and got pummeled by other established racers, or they crashed. For a long time Re'gi would have preffered the latter, to go out in a blaze of glory like his dad, but now all he wanted to do was live and see what living could bring.

Outside the office it was raining. Good. No one would be able to tell Re'gi was crying.

Bounty: The Flying Acklay
Participant: Flynn Kanos
Thread: Here

Flynn Kanos, Majordomo to Durga the Hutt, walked into the bounty acquisition office, carrying a datachip with him that contained all the information he needed to prove he had been the one to take out the Acklay. Filling out the required paperwork, all the while wondering when bounty hunting had become so organised and legalised, he made sure it was known that the job had been done at Durga's behest.

Waiting for the paperwork and his datachip to be processed, Flynn fished out his datapad to check for confirmation of the fund transfer from his account. He received the same at about the same time as the accountant returned with his credit slip. Efficient, he thought as he left the office, hoping this was the last time he would find himself here for a long, long time.

Bounty: Zix Klitka
Participant(s): Elohim Aeon and Jaz Corban
Thread: Here

________________________________________

Elohim stepped through the all-too-familiar building yet again, as the Verpine target walked alongside him with a bit of a nervous face. "You're one of the few bounties that won't stay here, relax." he spoke, as the Verpine gulped, but didn't really look too relaxed after the Bounty Hunter's words. The two stepped up to the desk, as the droid behind the desk recognized the bounty, "Zix Klitka, complete." it said ominously, as the Bounty Hunter nodded. "Elohim Aeon and Jaz Corban.", the man said, his partner had still been recovering from their capture of this Verpine. "Take him away." the man said, as the Verpine's eyes widened and fear grew in his gaze, as the human simply chuckled. "He's actually coming with me, he's taken the job." he mentioned, as the droid nodded, typing away at the computer.

"That's it?" the Verpine said in disbelief. "That's it." the human answered with a confident grin. The verpine's smile returned, glee that he wasn't going to be imprisoned, or worse: dead. The two would make their way back to find a place for Zix to operate within the Cartel.

Bounty: Trig & Lan
Participant(s): Damia Seles
Thread: Here

Damia walked through the front doors of the acquisition office for the first time in a long time. The lat time she'd been here she'd still been a prospect, and she'd dropped a guy's head off after a very unpleasant time in the Nar Shaddaa Undercity. Now she was an Enforcer, dropping off a pair of fingers after a very unpleasant time in the middle of deep space. Trig & Lan had been smooth operators, but not quite smooth enough. And because of that they'd had to contend with problems that could be solved with cunning and guile. Mainly a shotgun shooting incendiary shells everywhere, and a pissed off Mirialan woman who just wanted them dead for credits.

Under normal circumstances she probably would have taken their heads as well. They fit conveniently in all sorts of luggage, and were pretty good for confirming that the person the Cartel wanted dead was indeed dead. But there hadn't been time to really start chopping at them thanks to a self-destruct sequence that had triggered upon the death of Lan. So she'd taken a finger from each instead. One of them was clearly human, if a little decayed, while the other was Durosian and a little crispy. Trig's death hadn't been the kindest or quickest in the galaxy, but you could at least make jokes about how he'd gone up in smoke. The self-destruct sequence had almost ensured Damia's ship had done up in smoke as well. The Makin' Good Time wouldn't be flying again for a good while, there was major damage to the cargo booms which in turn effected structural integrity. Well at least she'd have something to keep her busy while she wasn't off killing people, stealing things, and running guns for the Cartel.

Approaching the front desk, she turned over everything she had with her. She hadn't been quite sure if two fingers would be enough on their own for her to prove she'd actually completed the bounty so she'd also brought a scarred, twisted hunk of metal from their ship, and all the information from the mission on a data storage device. Everything such as the coordinates they'd met, how she'd gone about finding them, sensor data from her ship and armor's HUD. All of that together should be enough in her opinion. But whether that was true would be determined by whether or not there was any extra cash in her bank account, which she'd check as soon as possible. Well at least she still had a nicer apartment to go home to, and relax in. Bounty Hunting could be rather stressful.

Bounty: "Life-Saver" Program 0-451
Hunters: Zane Galla and Samael Arkaizyn
The Hunt: Error:404

"I really hate this..." I thought as I walked into the Aqusitions office. The place was spottless and I constantly felt like I was gonna break some thing and then to top it off I had to stand in line with other hunters who were in equally bad moods.... "Oh, well at least today I'll be dropping off a fat bounty." I thought as the line slowly drew closer to the light at the end of the tunnel.

Finally, after what seemed like hours it was my turn. "Yeah, I'm turning in the Rouge AI." I held up my data pad with the bounties information along with the rundown of how things went during the hunt. "The Bounty in question is "Life-saver" Program 0-451 code name: Dorothy." I then held up the thumb drive I had isolated the AI on and said "The AI is on this. I think with a little work she could be used for bigger stuff. We could even use her against our enemies provided you get the right people to look at her." I shrugged "But, I'm just a prospect thinking out loud." I waited for the response from the clerk and then thanked 'em for their time. I turned on my heels and headed for the doors I needed to get the hell out of here and get a drink.
