Plot Outline Submission Template:

1. What is going to happen in your plot?
The Hutt Cartel will assimilate the Pyke Syndicate and all its assets.​

All threads will take place roughly at the same time, (again, see below).​
5. What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"?
Hopefully creating the same kind of drive that's currently going for the Sith Empire. This will be the first mission pack to go with the Cartel Mission Rewards I posted. Furthermore, ICly, this will hopefully go to restore Davik's reputation in the cartel.​
6. Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.
No Staff DM is needed.​

Breaking the Pyke


A few days ago a henchman of a Bareesh kajidic Vigo uncovered a plot by the Pyke Syndicate to assassinate the Besadii spymaster Jorga Besadii Torr. That Vigo, Davik Lorso has a strong dislike of the Besadii clan over a bounty placed by its current patriarch, but the Pyke Syndicate making a move this bold and aggressive means they're also undermining the rule of the Bareesh Lorda, whose the Supreme Mogul. There aren't many rules within the Hutt Cartel, but they do operate on the general principle that no outsider is allowed to touch its assets. As such, the Bareesh Lorda Svallos has decreed through Davik that the Pyke Syndicate will no longer be allowed to exist independently of the mighty Svallos cartel.

You get to be the lucky bastards that get rich working -almost- directly for the Supreme Mogul.



  • Thread 1: [Ryloth] Shattered Pykes [DM / Dice]
    That one assassin wasn't the only one assigned with the murder of the Besadii spymaster. Find the other one [level 3 NPC] before he reaches Jorga's hideout and shatter the Pyke Syndicate's plan to strike a blow against the cartel.

    Thread 2: [Oba Diah] Burning Wood [DM / Dice]
    Now, you gotta stick with me on this one, but we're not actually going to be burning wood on this one. We'll be burning bridges, no not actual bridges.. fine, we'll be taking a shot at the pillar on which the Pyke Syndicate is built: it's ever continuing supply of slaves. When the Senexian Slavers come to deliver their next batch of slaves to Oba Diah, you're scare them off -violently- so they'll threaten Pyke leadership to never come kriffing back.

    Thread 3: [Oba Diah] Blunting Tip [Open / PvP]
    The main reason that the Pyke Syndicate has been around for so long despite the Hutt's obvious supremacy is the skill of their sentinels. They're badass fighters with exotic fighting techniques and wicked reflexes that have slaughtered many basadi who foolishly tried to best them unprepared. Davik figures that with these guys down, Pyke leadership will be more agreeable to Hutt overlordship. Make it happen.

    Thread 4: [Oba Diah] Ensliming the Mountain [Open / PvP]
    The Pyke Syndicate thrives on smuggling spice and coaxium to the Republic. Let it be a convenient observation of a cartel basadi that their fleet of freighters is docked in a hollowed out mountain. Get in there, take out any guards, detain the pilots and claim those ships for the cartel.

    Thread 5: [Oba Diah] Hostile takeover [DM / Dice]
    This is it. The culmination of all the cartel efforts and the last act of our perfect little Biltzkrieg. Cartel forces have surrounded the palace of Pyke Syndicate boss Maze Krim and you two are to lead the cartel delegation and negotiate the seamless annexation of the Pyke Syndicate to the Hutt Cartel. If Maze Krim is difficult, we're sure you'll be creative enough to find him a replacement body.

Note: You can self DM your thread with dice rolls or look for a DM for your threads, use staff DMs as a last resort. You will have a 48 hour posting window, and all your actions will have consequences. You're criminals, not soldiers following orders, thus you're completely free in how you go about your mission. All your Supreme Mogul desires is it being a success.

Hi @Ecclessey !

Right so I've been looking over the plot and I like it well enough - 5 threads might normally not be enough for a level 2 to take over a planet but since it's going to the Cartel's control rather than Davik's direct control that's easier to accept and the fact that you have got some good opposition going for these threads (especially the two open PVP threads) does mean that I'm willing to say that this is a rather balanced plot.

Threads 2 and 5 have been completed:


  • Thread 2: [Oba Diah] Burning Wood [DM / Dice]
    Cartel operatives have managed to cause tension between the Pyke Syndicate and the Senexian Slaves, putting their business together on a halt.

    Thread 5: [Oba Diah] Hostile takeover [DM / Dice]
    Maze Krim, the Pyke Syndicate boss, has been convinced to make his operation part of the cartel


but threads 3 and 4 have been abandoned by the players who signed up

This mission pack has been available for too long and we must face the fact that it has failed despite the successfully completed threads.

Now, I don't want to disappoint those that have done their side of things so I want to start and finish mission 1.

Would you guys consider to count the mission pack as a partial success if:

1) the threat to the Hutt Cartel is averted (mission 1)
2) the Pyke Syndicate has suffered most (mission 2)
3) Syndicate leadership in turmoil (mission 3 - I expect, considering 3 and 4 did not happen, that Maze Krim will be killed by his own men and replaced)

as reward I'd like to request a small credit reward for @TheRevanchist @Versok @Raydo & @Xorism

You can submit incomplete plots for partial credits, even if the goals weren't entirely met.
