Bringing a theory before the Council

Thunger and his apprentice have already been on this disgusting planet of Courascant when Thunger’s theory and thoughts were shared with his apprentice. Joshua also played a large roll in this aswell. It was Joshua who sugguested the man at the bar previous to this event, when thunger revealed his thoughts of a possible dark faction. Together, they came up with an interesting theory involving a dark faction and dark Force users. However, there is no proof, only facts put together forming a theory.

When Thunger was in exile on Hoth, he felt a huge disturbance in the Force. This disturbance is what led him back to the Jedi. He feels the Jedi are in great danger and are ignorant to the facts. His fear for the Jedi being in danger is what caused him to make a return. His reasons for being away was to become stronger so he could be of more use to the Jedi Order. Thunger has worked through unimaginable training exercises, causing his life to flash before his eyes multiple times when he came inches away from meeting his death. Thunger feels his 20 years of training is finally about to pay off, he feels very strong and confident in his theory that he is about to share with the council. Thunger is now much stronger mentally with the Force and physically. It is about time he prepares the Jedi for war, but this action is only a decision that can be made by the council. Thunger can only share his theory and hope the council will realize what is going on and not think he is crazy.

As Thunger and his apprentice make their way towards the council chambers a message is sent to all Jedi council and Jedi masters in the area. This message is to aware the council of his return, and to expect him. Surely the council will be over delighted to see Thunger alive, but that is not of importance at this moment. The only thing that needs to be focused on is this theory, whether it be right or wrong, it is a possibility that needs to be discussed as soon as possible. There is no time for a friendly greeting, or things of that nature. Thunger did not come back just to receive a warm welcoming or tell a story. He has no time to explain his absence, he has to get straight to the point and aware his fellow Jedi that they are all at risk and explain his thoughts of a possibility of a darkside faction that may try to harm them.

As the two Jedi finaly return to the temple, Thunger ignores his emotions. Not only his emotions of dislike towards this planet, but the emotions that can cause him to be nervous as well. This will be Thunger’s first appearance before the council in 20 years, since he was denied the rank of master and exiled himself. At this time, Thunger is so focused on his theory, even he can’t find his own emotions that are hidden in the back of his mind.

Thunger and his apprentice continue in a jog like pace as they enter the temple. They begin to sprint before reaching the councils room doors. A rather loud abnoctious ‘thumping’ is heard on the doors of the council room substituting a knock. The council has already been informed they are coming, and are aware it is very urgent.
Thunger pants franticly outside the council doors as he catches his breath. He waits out side the councils room for permission to enter. He has no clue what to expect of the council’s reaction towards seeing him again, especially considering his abused and battered physique. The council will not only be suprized to see Thunger, since he has been absent for 20 years, but he is also covered in battle scars… and then this theory of a dark faction. This is a huge amount to throw at the council at once. This is certainly going to be far too much to take in with such a small amount of time to comprehend.

 

[Horizon]

Standing by his new mentor, Joshua leaned up against the wall awaiting to speak with the council. It had been a long day and Joshua was quieter than usual. There was always something to talk about but the worry of the Order not taking some type of action made Joshua on edge. Taking a deep breath was all that Joshua could do to keep calm. Plus he was getting tired of waiting. Also what would he say to the council? "Me and my friend have a theory that composes Force users to band together and bring conflict against us?"It definitely sounded crazy. But perhaps the council would give us permission to seek out the Force user from Dantooine. He surely posed a threat to ill-experienced Jedi and others.
But who knows, its all up to the council....

 

[Lavi]

The doors entered, queuing the two to enter. However, no one was in the room, though a gentle hum echoed through the room. The bluish appearance of a council member slowly came into perspective, the one known as Haar. He is one of the younger members of the council, being a newly inducted padawan during the Alsakan Crisis twenty years ago. The council member knew little about Thunger, but he greeted him nevertheless.

Haar gestured them to speak through the holo-projector, the expression on his face indicating concern.

As the two Jedi enter the council room Thunger's face slighly crunches as he notices who the council member is. A look of confusion flashes across Thunger's face before bowing respectfully to Master Haar. Thunger remembers the Jedi master, but his memories are not of him being a master of any kind. However, it is now a totally different time and much has changed.

Thunger walks closer to the blue blurr. His voice is deep as he speaks, and there is absolutly no humor in his voice. He can't even reconize his own voice as he speaks. His thoughts are racing, there is nothing less than serious concern and panic in his words.

As you are already aware of master, I have been a way for 20 years or so. If it wasin't for the Force warning me of potential danger, I would still be on Hoth..... I honestly cant put my thoughts into words, but, listen to this..

When i made my first appearance on Tatooine a few weeks ago, I came in contact with a man who possessed the darkside of the Force. The man was so set on fighting me, and when we finaly faught, he vanished....... He ran away after going through tons of trouble to finaly get me to make a move..

I think this man is a new member of an unknown dark faction.. When he realized he made a mistake by showing off this dark powers, he used a force power that i am unaware of and vanished... Why would he disappear after wanting to fight me? Mabye they don't want to be found, and this guy made a mistake...

I know this is a lot to take in, but you have to listen to me! The Force lead me home because the Jedi Order is in danger, AND THEN THIS HAPPENS!!

Thungers words are jumbled as he speaks towards the end. He could sound mental to anyone who is ignorant to idea. Thunger could be dead wrong about this, but he beleives he is right. The Force lead him here for a reason, And then he met a dark force user that posseses powers he has never seen before..

Haar leaned forward in his seat, though his expression did not graven or relax at the news. Thunger could be mental to some, though Haar has been taught to remain open minded to new ideas.

"How did you meet this person on Tantooine? If this dark faction is meant to remain in hiding, what sparked this one to utilize powers commonly associated with the dark side?"

 

[Iorthunger]

Thunger begins to calm himself, in the mean time he clears his throat and makes a gensture with his hands towards his apprentice as he speaks again. This time in a lower, calmer tone as he tells his story.

I had just finaly left Hoth, and made my first landing on a different planet in 20 years. I landed on Tatooine and entered the closest cantina, where I met my apprentice. The Dark Force user targeted him since he was only a padawan at the time and began corrupting his mind, trying to turn him away from the Jedi. I noticed, and did what any Jedi would do and tryed to stop it. After the man showed violent actions, I threatened to arrest him, then he attacked. Long story short, we faught, he showed off his dark powers and after realizing he made a mistake he disappeared.

All this is after he picked a fight with a Dashade that I had to stop. After i threatened to arrest the two, the Dashade took off then he targeted my apprentice.

Again, Thunger's words are a bit jumbled, but atleast he is calmed.

"One more question, and I would like to address the boy," Haar answered, weighing in on the other's words. "You say that you met your apprentice at that cantina. How long have the two of you accompanied each other?"

((Gyah, not much to say...))

 

[Horizon]

Joshua bowed before the council member, before speaking for himself.
"Yes it is true that we met at the cantina. And only today since our encounter on tantooine." Joshua quickly went back to being silent as being before one of the very members of the council felt like a huge privilege in his own terms....

 

[Iorthunger]

Thunger nodded in agreement after his apprentice spoke. Then turning back to Master Haar, he began to speak again. His voice was oviously filled with determination, and all seriousness when he spoke.

I think there is a huge threat out there, master. The Force has pulled me home for a reason, and on my way I came in contact with this Dark Force user... Does it not fit?

I would still be on Hoth if the Force has not called me back.. Please, we need to prepare ourselves for the worst...
What can I do master? I have ran through the most intense training exercises imaginable, my life has flashed before me countless times over the past 20 years.. Beleive me, I am ready!

Thunger raises his palms and studies his disfigured skin after his words.. He begins to wonder what the young council member knows of him. What have they wrote about his absence? Surely they have no clue what he has been through.. He is truly dedicated to the Jedi, and has and will continue to do the unimaginable for the order.

Joshua thought about the way Thunger was talking to the council.
He was sounding like a madman but there was always a chance he might be right. He sounded like he was trying to force them into doing something thought Joshua. Simply asking them to do something rather than stating something disasterous will occure if they dont, sounded better to Joshua rather than what his new Mentor was doing.

 

[Lavi]

"Your input is appreciated, young one, though I see that Thunger has not yet touched upon etiquette in speaking with the Council," Haar replied. He meant to question Thunger about how long they have been together, despite the young one having answered the question given.

He nodded as Thunger spoke further, placing the thought in the back of his head. The Force bringing him back home with such news is plausible, though the scale in which the danger lies could not be determined by such an encounter.

"You should do nothing, as of now. Meditation and reflection in a calmed mind is what suits the current circumstances as of now," he answered to Thunger. "You are quick to jump to conclusions, since there is no real indication of a large dark side organization being on the loose with the description you have provided to me."

The councilor directed his attention towards the apprentice. "Who were you with before meeting with Thunger?"

 

[Horizon]

"No one. I had been alone before meeting up with him."
Joshua answered while trying to scrape his memorys to make sure he was not missing anything important...

 

[Lavi]

"Were you at the cantina for any particular reason?" he further inquired of the apprentice. If the Force truly had some involvement in this matter, Thunger meeting someone to take on as an apprentice cannot possibly be a coincidence.

 

[Iorthunger]

Before Thunger could appologize for his way of going about the situation, the council member had questions for his apprentice. In the mean time, Thunger calmed himself again. He sounded like an uneducated nut, but he is very concerned, causing him to act this way. Thungers thoughts can hardly be put into sensible words. But based on the facts, things look very bad and this worrys Thunger sick, literaly. Thunger would do anything for the Jedi order, even if he looks like an idiot in the process. Thungers intentions are good, he does not mean to show any disrespect to the council in anyway. Anyone who knows Thunger realizes seeing him in such a panic state is not only unheard of, but can only mean something of negativity.

As the two speak, Thunger nodds in agreement, awaiting for his chance to speak again.

 

[Horizon]

"I was simply there to have a nice drink. A small break from training with my Master Osman. I am now a Jedi Knight but during that time I was a padawan."
Joshua went back to be quiet and attentive to be ready when called upon again...

 

[Lavi]

Ah. Osman most likely referred to Osman Pasha. Haar was aware of the nautolan's training of padawans: he was most likely one of Osman's students.

"How did this dark wielder attempt to persuade you to succumb to the dark side? Do you remember what he looked like?" Haar inquired, changing the focus of his questions. He has little time left to spare before returning to a mission, so the master opted to inquire on the most important topics.

 

[Horizon]

Joshua scrambled his mind to remember to what the man looked like but it was no use. The one person who realy mattered who couldnt even put a face to. "No. I apologise for not remembering his face, all I can realy remember is he looked like any other man.....As for how he tried to persuade me. He invaded my mind in the most part, filled my head with words of deciet.
There was a dashade there simply enjoying his drink, yet the Dark Force user was saying he was going to kill me and that I should act first."
Joshua pictured the moment when he looked over at the dashade to see if it was true that he was was going to take violent action.....

"Of course Thunger spoke to me through the Force and guided me away to his side for safety...."

 

[Lavi]

"It is fortunate that Thunger came when he did," Haar nodded. "Reflection is the current realistic approach to this incident. I will see that the Council discuss this privately. Both of you may leave, if there is nothing else."

He left out his own worries of there being a major dark side organization looming in the shadows. Haar's own master, Amaterasu, has not been seen or heard from for some time. However, few bothered to remember her due to her abandonment of the Jedi Order over twenty years ago. The rise of such a group could potentially be the reasoning for her absence in the galaxy.

 

[Horizon]

Even though the council member was already leaving and had his back turned, Joshua bowed before him and simply walked out of the chambers and proceeded to the entrance of the temple to stand amongst the Four Master,s Statues. There he felt more calm about things. And he needed to be clear headed and calm about what he would do next.....
