DESCRIPTION
Tenebris is a stock model Cetus-Class Diplomatic Barge once owned by a Mon Calamari Senator. The vessel's prior owner was an unfortunate target for assassination, being an outspoken voice against Corruption within the Outer Rim worlds. Following the termination of the Senator and his crew, Zylah simply decided she admired the luxurious design of the vessel and the quality of its construction and materials. She kept the ship as a trophy, and now operates and lives chiefly out of the vessel.

Originally Royal Blue, Tenebris has since been repainted a combination black and deep violet, its owners favored color scheme and in line with the colors of the Eternal Legion's Assassins. The Cetus-class was originally commissioned to replace the aging Cetea-class that had been in service for several decades. Following typical Mon Calamari design, the diplomatic barge boasts a bulbous, yet sleek design, above average shield generators, and somewhat lumbering handling. While a smooth ride, the Cetus-class is graceful, not agile when it comes to flight.

The ship contains a two person bridge, with a pilot and co-pilot arrangement. The former handles flight, navigation, and the Hyperdrive, while the latter controls communications, shields, life support, and power regulation. Turrets mounted on the spinal and ventral portions of the craft provide some offensive power. Despite this the craft is large for its armament, has notable blind spots, and is designed with the intent of receiving a fighter escort when traveling.

The interior boasts a luxurious master suite, two smaller guest bedrooms with lavatories, and modest crew quarters. There is a sizable galley towards the center of the craft, a lounge, stateroom, and a small droid bay. There is also a small armory for security officers and a triage station for performing basic first aid. The interior is overall designed to be open, spacious, and above all else opulent. The Mon Calamari pride themselves on curvaceous shapes and designs reminiscent of their aquatic home.

All Cetus-Class are made to order, with variants on catalog for prospective buyers. They are not an uncommon sight in the deep core worlds, or in the planets bordering Mon Calamari space. Mon Calamari Shipyards has long been a major supplier of New Republic armaments going back to the early days of the Rebellion with its MC80 and MC90 cruisers. These longstanding ties have made it a major supplier in government craft for diplomats, nobility, and a popular options for the galaxy's aristocratic elite.

LEGALITY
While the Cetus-Class is perfectly legal for anyone of appropriate means to purchase, own, and operate, Zylah's particular ship is stolen property. Because of this, she has had to spent a small fortune on black market technicians to scrub the ship's computer databanks and reset its records to manufacturing defaults. The vessel is officially registered to a forged identity she uses in the Core Worlds, a wealthy heiress to a mining magnate. Because the serial numbers on the ship's parts could still be tracked back to its original owner, she is also forced to bribe or mind trick inspectors during any regular inspection.

INTENT
This ship is intended to be Zylah Nightblade's personal craft. It is her home, and her single most valuable possession. Beyond that the Cetus-class is merely another avenue for a luxury spacecraft for the wealthy and political elite of the galaxy and to add a non-military vessel to the Mon Calamari Shipyard's impressive roster of warships.

ADVANCED TECH
NO. At present the Tenebris is stock save for its black market factory reset and repaint. Though in time, Zylah would like to further upgrade the vessel with expensive technology such as jammers, cloaking devices, and a stronger hyperdrive. At present though, she is sorely lacking in both the funds, and the contacts to put these plans to fruition.

Is this the write-up for the ship class or a specific ship that's owned by your character? Can't have the latter without a write-up for the former.
