To whom it may concern,

As you may or may not know, it is Elijah Hardin's main focus to help make the Rebellion a Legitimate State in the galaxy proper. In his opinion the best way to do so is to get the participating planets and systems to sign a charter that declares independence from the Empire and allegiance to each other. I would like to draft this charter for the faction, and have Eli petition it to the leadership and get it approved. With our work on Darknell, Bespin, my connections with Morellia, and our soon-to-be work on Sullust I believe it is time we have a legal document stating our intentions for our allies to rally under. I would be happy to start a thread of Eli sitting down and writing it and consecutively presenting it to the leadership. You can trust it will be well-written, concise, and all-inclusive. I would like for us to be able to present it to Bespin's government before the closing of "Our Presence is Present."

Thank you for your time

Evan

You may have been replied to via PM already, but just thought I'd throw in my two cents just in case nobody else has. Please keep in mind that I'm pretty new and am by no means completely up to speed with all things Rebellion.

That said, based on my understanding, I think an official charter would be more likely to attract too much unwanted attention from the Empire. From my OOC point of view, it seems like the Rebellion is still pretty small and too much publicity of any type would likely leave a trail of cookie crumbs for the Imperium. The Rebellion is trying to take advantage of the civil war going on within the Sith Imperium, not give them a reason to unite together and obliterate the Rebellion once and for all.

Like I said, just my take, I could be dead wrong.

I appreciate the feedback, at whatever time leadership deems it appropriate I would love to take a crack at it.
