Like it says, this is an early sign up thread for anyone Whois interested in joining Renelo after the skip. Those who I've talked to and have secured a place on the roster are more then welcome to reiterate it here, and for all you newbies, I have a lot of cool stuff planned for after the skip. So for anyone who wants to join a unique, active clan, post here so we can get the ball rolling.

I think it would be a good idea to explain your plans for them if you want new people to join. How exactly will they be a unique clan, what are these plans you have for them, what will they be doing after the skip?

You're making this to be an indie faction now, not a sub group within a main faction. Besides, this is an opportunity for the Mandalorians to become more open in the new time-line, make the indie factions easier to join and RP in for new characters. IMO the Mandalorians were too difficult to join and get used to as a faction, a secret club that only fandalorians could join. By posting this here in the Mandalorian OOC board instead of in the Indie faction discussion boards you are making me think we'll just see the same again but within a number of indie Mando factions.

Well, I do see your point. Since we weren't an official indie faction yet, I felt that here was more appropriate. I do understand the whole club thing, but if you take a look at some of my threads (I can't link since I'm on my phone unfortunately), I think you'll see that I'm trying to diversify my clan. You don't have to be a Mando right off the bat, I'm trying to evoke a cin vhetin feeling, meaning that those who wish to start again are more than welcome.

In regards to unique, I'm going back to the old clan structure, with true ranks, an organized clan system, and even warrior castes, from ground pounders to bounty hunters to assassins. There's some stuff that I can't reveal just yet, because it's going to be a huge plot point for Renelo when the skip happens, but suffice it to say, it will push writers to their limits in terms of character strength and ingenuity.

Clan Renelo's ultimate goal is to restore the image of an honorable Mandalorian Warrior, who fights for clan and people and not under the thumb of an age old enemy, like we were this timeline. Strategists, warriors, all creeds are encouraged to join, as long as they fight for their brothers and the future of their clan.

I personally am going to be working in fostering stronger bonds between the clans, because while a Mandalorian is strong, it is the people that brings true strength and unity to the fore. Those warriors who are strongest are those with a creed and something to fight for.

Hope that assuaged any concerns you might have.

Nah, it'll be too complicated, since Gutterson is a surname, and he doesn't "have" a real first name. He'd just be Renelo. XD
