DESCRIPTION​

The Combat Shovel Kit from Soro-Suub Corporation was designed as a utility and weapon hybrid for boots on the ground from any corner of the galaxy. Inspired by the E-Tools of old, the Combat Shovel Kit includes shaft segments that screw in and secure tightly to add varying length to the shovel. The shovel head itself locks in either the extended, half fold, or folded positions. Other heads are available such as a knight, glass-breaker spike, screw driver, and flint rod, all in a kit that can be loaded into two pouches on a belt.

With the rise of anti-Force user sentiments, Soro-Suub added in a cortosis weave down the various kit heads and the shaft, allowing the shovel to be used if necessary to block blaster bolts (but not deflected) and lightsabers alike.

The shovel head itself had a can opener nook, a serrated-saw edge, and three measuring holes.

INTENT​

No infantryman goes anywhere without their shovel. This allows them to be able to use it as a weapon regardless of the foe they're against.

RESTRICTIONS​

Because it's cortosis, the kit absorbs blaster bolts instead of deflecting them. Resharpening may need to happen from time to time if the shovel is used too much for non-shovel duties.
