Could you make Droid Character?

I am just asking for the first Sith coming up I would like to make some sort of crime bot.
Also if you can, could I have some tips on how to make one.

I can't give you much in the way of tips on how to make or write one, but yes, droid characters are and will be acceptable in the new timeline. I'll actually have a droid character myself next TL acting as muscle for a Hutt.
