So does that mean the first two comics were not interesting? Or is it a slow going series?

No no, they were. First one was good as it basically sets Vader on his own mission/investigation. Second one I cannot remember much of, other then him having to serve under someone for that issue. This third one though, aside from one little flash back, Vader just fights at the beginning as he is looking for someone, who also turns out to be a new interesting character.

Got to my Comic shop today, they were closed for a bit, due to vandalism. They only had an Alternative cover of Issue one, but so far I enjoy it. Hopefully I can stumble upon the other issues soon.

Issue 4 came out today. So far, it's my favorite entry in the Vader series. Aphra is turning out to be a favorite of mine.

LOVING this series. Its showing so much about Vaders mind even in these early stages such as *Spoilers* him slaughtering all the Tusken Raiders AGAIN and how his current 'base' is Padmes ship from Mustafar. When I seen that ship I freaked out.

This has given me so much hope for the 'everything is canon' approach.

Was that actually Padme's ship, or just something like it? I may have missed that.

It is useless to resist... this comic.

A few preview pages here. The cat and mouse begins, except the mouse is unknowing tracking a cat.

This series actually has improved greatly, I've been really impressed lately with it. I'm glad I kept it in my pull.

So far this comic is super boring to me. By far the most boring of the new offerings. I do like the character of Aphra, though, and I'm looking forward to seeing her interactions with the core characters in Vader Down. I also liked the ending of Vader #6 when Vader realized that Sidious lied to him about Padme.

I think part of the issue, I know that throws me off, is that there are a couple different story lines happening at once and I don't think they've gotten down how to successfully tell those stories without making it jumbled and/or include an excessive amount of narration (like SW:Lando :/ )

The Lando comic is just super weird. It's clearly set up for Episode VII, but like... Lando getting his hands on an ancient Sith artifact? They couldn't have done this with Han and Luke?

Issue 10 is out. Some backstory for Aphra and our resident Sherlock is proving to be a little to clever. Vader has had a smaller role in the second arc as he moves from enforcer to puppet master, but it's building to a showdown.

He is a clever little fellow that tracker guy isn't he? Hopefully he'll stay away from Aphra and her excellent droids!

I need to download the next issue. So far, the series is great, especially for a design buff like me. In particular, the design of the BioEngineering Station was fantastic. Can't wait to read the next part.

I was disappointed that the mortician didn't last that long. I thought they could've taken that to some more interesting places, rather than just using him to confirm the characters' existing suspicions. But I did like how devoted that guy was to Padmé. That's something that I could see really playing into Leia's favor, especially in light of what happens at the end of Shattered Empire #2.

The Ante giving Vrogas Vas (mentioned in Star Wars 8 by one of the Holocrons Luke opens as the location of a Jedi Temple) as Luke's location to Aphra confirms Shadows and Secrets as happening after Showdown on Smuggler's Moon and pretty much confirms Vrogras Vas as the location Vader Down takes place on.

I liked how clever Vader was I n this one, He's staying one step of ahead, but it's going to come to ahead next issue.
