TSURUMAH CETINJIRA
NAME: Tsurumah Cetinjira
FACTION: Sith
RANK: ---

Tsurumah is the Hated One in Nautila. Most would revile the name, but after years spent wandering in the freezing trenches at the bottom of Glee Anselm, Tsurumah welcomes the opportunity to be called anything at all.

Cetinjira makes reference to the legendary Mother of Waves, a violent goddess associated with abyssal spaces, the end of Nautolan civilization and the darker aspects of the feminine psyche.

Haven't actually written anything else yet.

I'm tossing around a few ideas.

A senator from the planet Brentaal. A planet that is consequently a stepping stone for the could be Sith insurgents that might potentially attack the heart of the Republic. Chandrila. My senator would work diligently to propose a means of defense against the threat to the outer rim, should the Border Alliance fail to oppose the Sith invaders. Furthermore, he would urge the senate to support the border alliance in order to neutralize the threat in the outer rim before the situation escalates.

Along those lines, my Border Alliance character will be connected to my senator. Also hailing from Brentaal, he will travel to the outer rim to aid the border alliance and act as my senator's eyes and ears in theatre--providing my Senator with information regarding the conflict.

Lastly, I'm experimenting with an artificial intelligence or droid type character. Never really tried this before, but @Kiro encouraged me to give it a try and @TAC presented an RP opportunity for me to test it out. Regardless, I would be looking to act as an assistant, assassin, guard, etc... For an independent character. A sidekick of sorts I guess.

That's pretty much where I'm at right now. Not really getting into more detail until after more info is released regarding DotR.

If anyone wants to chat about their characters and how my ideas might tie into your ideas one way or another, shoot me a PM.

I got the meat of my character down, just need to through and edit.

Senator Augustus James Roderick.

I am super excited about some opportunities to weave other characters into his background, especially from some old RP friends who are coming back for the new timeline. Definitely looking forward to RPing with him. He's an extremely young ex-military Republic Senator from a BA world. I just have to wait to see where the BA is located to pick out a world for him.

I've actually been throwing around an idea of a Catharian Jedi, recently minted as a Knight. Even though Catharians males, as he is, are fantastic warriors, he's more adept at study of the Force. It helped him to overcome his quick temperament and unpredictability. As interesting as the Padawan stage is in a Jedi's life, finding Knights capable of taking disciples seems rare. So I suppose i could explore his learning in his profile or in solo threads.

Or via flashbacks in ongoing RP threads. Always an interesting way to show people why or how your character deals with things via flashbacks from your character's past.

Anyone ever seen the show Arrow? Well that's basically what I'm shooting for next Timeline, an Oliver Queen of sorts.

A force sensitive assassin type. He uses a bow and his arrows are "special" in a way. Like flash bang arrows, explosive arrows and all that good stuff. He'll start off evil, assassinating people and the such. Then he will turn into a kind of Anti-Heroish guy. Maybe a bounty hunter. Using his skills and training to take care of himself and maybe a friend or "Side kick" basically a partner.

Then maybe he can conquer his messed up past and be turned into a good guy. I don't know ain't got that far yet.

Currently working on a Jedi Knight, although everything is subject to change as more is revealed about the factions and how they're being structured.

Here's what I have so far, which is not alot at this stage.

Aliens, woo! Nice choices - Chadra-fan are a pretty interesting species, and a Pau'an Jedi is pretty neat.

I am halfway through finishing Poy,

http://www.thestarwarsrp.com/forum/index.php?threads/fens-fluff.63112/

Any ideas would be welcome.

At a glance (sorry, I'm sort of speed-rading everything) I'd say to be a bit more detailed or specific about the stats, since it's kind of vague at the moment as to whether they're good or bad. Aside from that she looks quite interesting so far.

Not much to really comment on this at this point, though I like the cultural reference in the name, which is a nice touch.

My characters can be found here. Also concerning the ships any help is welcome :D

http://www.thestarwarsrp.com/forum/index.php?threads/kenicos-dotr-workshop.62822/

I'll be honest, there was so much there that I didn't wind up reading it. I'm worried that maybe you've got a little too much planned at this stage, but that's just my two cents from very quickly glancing over it all. It seems like you've got a lot on your plate, so maybe work on refining it down and seeing if you can't get away with less to begin with?

http://www.thestarwarsrp.com/forum/index.php?threads/solarii-dekkadus-dotr-remake.62989/

Would love any opinions regarding her despite still being in the process of remaking her for DotR (Never got to play her in this timeline, so I'm moving her to DotR).

Tricky to advise you on how to rework the profile given that so much of the history is based in events that correspond to the current timeline, but I'm confident you'll be able to figure it out as more information is revealed. :P

Jedi Marcus (Jedi Knights)

Daiton Jor (Slicer, Accord Initiative Indie)

I'll be honest, I like Daiton a lot more than I like Marcus right now - Marcus doesn't seem to have much going on in his bio yet, and you don't get any real idea of who he is or what he's like, so my recommendation would be to really go back and try and flesh out the personality there to make him stand out more.

I'm tossing around a few ideas.

Brentaal's a fun planet, but we're actually looking at ways to sort of allow the main faction to pick battles on locations other than those key strategic points if they want to (since battles inevitable occur at the same locations time and time again due to the way the galaxy is set up). Granted the character still works, but it might not be the flashpoint that you're envisioning.

Also, droids are always interesting - and a challenge. We need more awkward, rudimentary droid-types in the RP, IMHO - the whole super-advanced shtick is getting old. But that's just my opinion.

I got the meat of my character down, just need to through and edit.

More power to the BA folks. Digging the Senator with a military background-turned freedom fighter bio.

...I've got nothing. >.>

I actually find that 'recently Knighted' point of development for a character allows for a ridiculously broad amount of RP opportunities, as well as personal journey, progression, development etc. It's a really great point to start a character at - you're not limited by being a PAdawan, but you're still essentially learning about being a Jedi, just without your training wheels, so there's so much you can do there.

Or via flashbacks in ongoing RP threads. Always an interesting way to show people why or how your character deals with things via flashbacks from your character's past.

Yeah, there's about half a dozen different ways Altus or really any of us can approach tackling background. It's important to keep an open mind, however - I dunno about you guys, but half the time I set up a character, they change the moment I start RPing with them.

Anyone ever seen the show Arrow? Well that's basically what I'm shooting for next Timeline, an Oliver Queen of sorts.

Interesting. I'll be interested to see what his backstory is - I've always toyed with the idea of a failed Jedi-turned-vigilante, but never seem to get around to actually making it a thing.

But if you're ripping off Arrow, maybe I'll wind up ripping off Jessica Jones. Who knows? >.>

Formulating and redux of my Jedi of the present timeline "Rhonan Tor". Link is my sig. Criticism and feedback is encouraged.

Personally I'm not big on rehashing old characters - you're certainly allowed to do that (usually it's disallowed due to the RP timelines having existed all in a single continuity, but the reboot tosses that out the window this time around). I'll have to wait and see how it turns out, though.

Currently working on a Jedi Knight, although everything is subject to change as more is revealed about the factions and how they're being structured.

Here's what I have so far, which is not alot at this stage.

I'm actually glad to see so many people in here are working on Jedi characters, because for a while there I wasn't seeing much buzz around them and was...kind of wondering if they'd even have any interest as a faction, but it seems like there's plenty of people working on Jedi after all.

Aside from that. there's not much to go on there yet, since it's mostly Bee's cat ipsum. I guess we'll have to wait and see :P

Malmourral

FULL NAME: ---
AGE: Unknown
SPECIES: Human
HOMEWORLD: Dathomir

HEIGHT: 6'3"
WEIGHT: ---

EYE COLOR: Purple
HAIR COLOR: White
SKIN COLOR: Pale
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes

FACTION: Galactic Republic
RANK: Senator of Dathomir

"Malmourral wasn't always feared as the all-devouring demon of Bardotta. Once upon a time, the Great Demon was revered and worshiped by many. Time, it seems, has a way of changing such things. Where the Dagoyan Masters now see only the wildfire, we see the ashes that give birth to new life. On Dathomir, Malmourral remains a title worthy of solemn respect, but also of love. That is the Malmourral I wish to embody."

Sorceress

"It is the nature of the galaxy to condemn that which we do not understand. Fear, I have discovered, is the source of great mistrust in many a thing, but ignorance is no excuse, and all too often such mysteries are labelled as magic - as some unknowable, all-powerful force that is beyond our comprehension. And yet, such acts are not above mortals. The Jedi and Sith have fought each other for millenia using powers we cannot possibly comprehend, and yet the notion of magic is still considered mysterious, unknowable...and dangerous. Only one of these is in fact true. Given the appropriate application of knowledge, however, even the most terrifyingly unknowable sorceries can be harnessed. For those with a certain aptitude, is is far from dangerous.

Such sorcery can open up the entire galaxy to you, and so much more..."

Before entering public service as the Senator of Dathomir, Malmourral established herself as a powerful practitioner of the Dathomiri arcane arts, or 'Mancery' as it was sometimes known. Widely revered as a powerful Seeress, Malmourral was one of many such individuals within Dathomiri society - a position of considerable prestige and wealth, a Sorcerer commanded a considerable estate of wealth and indentured servants to tend to their every whim, and Malmourral was no exception to this. Dathomiri culture revolved around these arcane arts, and as part of her duties, Malmourral would be petitioned by countless dozens of individuals on a daily basis, offering gifts and tribute, that she may apply her powers to their own demands. These jobs were highly varied - Dathomir was built upon the foundations of such power, and so it saturated every aspect of their culture in some form or another. As perhaps the most powerful and most recognized of her sorcerous kind, Malmourral was petitioned for only the most lucrative of jobs - be it aiding in the fertility of a wealthy couple, placating the servants of a particularly noble house, or providing insight into the futures of budding politicians' careers.

Along with these duties that she personally attended to, Malmourral had at her command dozens of apprentices who would serve on lesser jobs on her behalf, or to assist her in some of the more extravagant rituals. These 'Night Sisters' were trained in such a way so as not to eclipse the significance of Malmourral herself - speaking only when necessary in soft tones, their garb a simple red dress. Such a practice of apprentices was hardly a tradition that Malmourral invented, however her retinue was by far the largest. These women also served as bodyguards for Malmourral, and were trained in several martial arts, as well as marksmanship, and were loyal utterly to Malmourral herself.

Save one. Malmourral was betrayed by her first Nightsister, and lost everything - not defeated through raw power or particular cunning, but by the power of words. Her own Nightsisters turned against her, it was a lesson hard learned, and one Malmourral herself would not soon forget.

Senator

Despite the loss of her estate, her status and her considerable influence in the circles of power of Dathomir, Malmourral was not so easily defeated. She still held considerable sway over the ruling clan of Dathomir - in fact it was only through her sorcery that the Clan Mother and current ruler of Dathomir still clung onto power. Years before, a plague had spread through many of the servants of Dathomir, and many houses were decimated by the sickness - none more so than the ruling Devasta clan, who at the time commanded more servants than any other. Malmourral herself managed to stop the plague from destroying the Clan, albeit at the cost of several of her own Nightsisters to fuel the dark ritual. The magics that held the sickness at bay were only maintained by Malmourral's will. But the betrayal had embittered her against her people, and Malmourral sought new stages to perform.

So it was that the previous Senator of Dathomir was suddenly recalled, never to be heard from again. Malmourral took to the stage on Chandrila in disguise, and, with the political power of the Republic Senate, enacted swift and cruel laws that crippled Dathomir economically for decades. Cut off from tribute by the economic recession, the Sorcerors of Dathomir turned on one another in a bitter shadow war that left the houses either destroyed or only a shadow of their former selves. Sensing weakness, several planets that once paid tribute to Dathomir - including Bardotta and Eshan - cut off all ties from the troubled world. Before the Dathomiri could turn their blame upon the mysterious Senator that had crippled them, Malmourral staged her own murder before openly revealing herself, effectively declaring herself the successor to the Senate, a humbled old woman who was long ago broken by the vicious politics of her homeworld.

Dathomir itself had paid a heavy price for Malmourral's vengeance, but in the years following, she has proven herself a capable and effective Senator, with the people of Dathomir none the wiser for her petty crusade. Those few that suspected her hand in such events either disappeared themselves, or remain wise enough not to speak openly of such things. The wrath of Malmourral is a terrifying thing, indeed.

Personality And Traits

Ruthless in her cunning and disastrous in her wrath, Malmourral demonstrated a long-sighted approach towards all of her plans and schemes, favoring the longer game as opposed to a simpler, faster or easier victory. Known for laying down plans that could take decades to come to fruition, Malmourral was often seemingly slow to act, though exceedingly confident in her own abilities. As a result, she was known for being slow to forget, and rare to forgive - often those that she did pardon would continue to be wary of her, fearing that Malmourral was simply playing a longer game of vengeance - a paranoia that was not unsubstantiated. However, Malmourral's plans were carefully laid, and so often the rumors voiced against her, while accepted as somewhat common knowledge, could never be proven in such a way so as to incriminate the sorceress. Above all else, Malmourral valued self-preservation.

Despite this, Malmourral also demonstrated strong loyalty towards those who earned her respect, and her outwardly kindly demeanor would more often that not be genuine. Malmourral cared deeply for Dathomir and the long and colored history of the world, and while her schemes in the past caused great damage to the world, she would never truly risk the long-term prosperity of her homeworld. Malmourral was a matronly figure who demonstrated care for her people bordering on maternal love, and would react with terrible and devastating wrath to any who would truly threaten her people - especially her own personal Nightsisters. As a result, she wore every Dathomiri death heavily upon herself.

Malmourral was also prone to bouts of unquenchable curiosity, however. As her life led her away from Dathomir and onto the galactic stage, she would often pre-occupy herself with the issues and plights of seemingly mundane individuals, guiding them on their own personal journeys in ways only she seemed to be able to comprehend. Due to her Seer's abilities, it was often speculated that Malmourral could sense others strong in the Force and would gravitate towards them, even if only momentarily to guide them to their destinies. Naturally, the sorceress never did anything to dismiss these rumors, as they lent towards the mystery that revolved around her - an aspect of her public persona which she thoroughly seemed to enjoy.

Powers And Abilities

As a trained practitioner of the Dathomiri arcane arts, Malmourral underwent the same Nightsister apprenticeship all of her kind were required to undertake. As such, aside from her considerable and broad knowledge of the various rituals, spells and incantations of her trade, she was also highly skilled in marksmanship and various martial combat skills. Despite her age, Malmourral was in exceptional physical condition, boasting fitness, flexibility, reflexes and strength of a woman in her absolute prime. The Force and latent Dathomiri magics suffused her entire being, keeping her in peak physical condition and defending her body against common illnesses.

She was also able to apply these powers to other ends. Extensively knowledgeable in Dathomiri magics, Malmourral was capable of conducting many strange and powerful rituals. Requiring a cadre of Nightsisters to assist her, these rituals could provide strange and unheard of results that defied logic and nature, with the ability to save, torment or destroy another life. Even without the aid of a ritual, Malmourral was capable of conjuring weapons from seemingly thin air, calling upon the elements, summoning raw magical energies and an assortment of other terrible powers if she so required. These powers could be amplified with the secret and mysterious Spirit Ichor of the Dathomiri - however, the magic was so infused into her being that Malmourral could cast spells capably without the need of such a reagent. Malmourral was also adept at moving objects with her mind to a considerable proficiency, harnessing both a finesse and a strength that was rarely matched.

Just a folio for one of my Sith, the actual profile will be much longer and contain the bio:

Carmilla - Oneiroid Psychosis
Serebin Thel
[fancybox4="http://i1288.photobucket.com/albums/b499/AbbieAileen/SWRP/serebin-icon2_zpsjq1dgr7v.jpg"]
NAME: Serebin Thel
FACTION: Sith Order
RANK: TBD
CLASS: Sorcerer
HOMEWORLD: Bastion
FORCE-SENSITIVE: Yes

SPECIES: Human
GENDER: Male
ORIENTATION: Possibly asexual
AGE: 21
HEIGHT: 5'8"
WEIGHT: 130 lbs

HAIR: Dark brown
EYES: Pale green
SKIN: Porcelain

Ethereal and ghostly, bizarre and aloof, Serebin Thel is an entrancing young creature. People are drawn to his presence, but repelled at a certain distance, as though his eerily quiet and difficult to understand demeanour acts as a spiritual barrier. He rarely speaks, often not even when spoken too, and is legitimately shy. Physicality confuses and unnerves him.

While not needlessly cruel, Serebin seldom feels emotion towards other beings, preferring to avoid them on a regular basis. In turn, he takes great pleasure from things which are deceased, inanimate or spiritual, as they are entirely within his control and do not possess feelings or opinions which will irritate him. For this reason, Serebin’s passions and skillset revolve entirely around manipulating the Force, as it is not a sentient entity, or a physical combatant.

Serebin prefers law and order over chaos, as the latter distresses and irritates him. He desires peace over conflict, but only in the form of total solitude. Apathetic about the physical world for the most part, Serebin's ambitions lie in enhancing his power in the Dark Side, and only that. He is astoundingly intelligent, but detached from reality and struggles to maintain an awareness of his surroundings as a result. As such, Serebin is also not overly manipulative. He does care however, as he too absorbed in his sorcery, and too disinterested in other Sith or what they are doing to even bother with their nonsense. He is mildly agoraphobic and feels threatened or uneasy should he be outdoors for too long, he particularly detests space travel.

After, or rather being tricked into, consuming the life essence of a young woman and her unborn child, the effects of the Drain Life technique have ravaged the young Sith pilgrim. As the result of absorbing another being's soul, Serebin suffers from psychosis which severely affects his daily functioning, influencing his agoraphobia. He is consistently unhealthy, suffering from chronic fatigue and struggling to put on weight. His sleep cycle is wretchedly dysfunctional and he is often awake all hours of the night while sleeping during the day. To deal with the fluctuating need to drain another life, he constantly smokes cigarettes and drinks excessive amounts of black tea.

The immortality topic is particularly fascinating to him, despite being only twenty-one. As a rather enormous and fantastical concept, it is something rather confronting to him, but also something delicious and intriguing. Serebin is captivated by the wider universe, the Force and whatever lies beyond that, but ironically will hesitate to even leave his home. Handicapped by wretched physical and mental health and a terrible existential crisis, it is safe to say Serebin is not particularly content and spends a good deal of time in melancholy contemplation. Seeking answers, the young Sorcerer has made the pilgrimage from his homeworld of Bastion to Moraband, the Sith world of the dead.

@Green Ranger

Really? Because it looks fine on my laptop, I'll change it if more people have trouble reading it.
