This weekend (hopefully) I would like to post a thread where Bastele declares that the end of the Battle of Naboo marks the dawning of a new republic. This will get us a step closer to the in-universe reorganization of the Rebellion. I anticipate making this like "And the Word Was..." where it will start with a galaxy-wide broadcast, and then everyone can react to it.
As far as a setting goes, it would be in Theed, and I'd put it in a location where people watching the broadcast could prominently see the smoldering remains of a crashed Star Destroyer. I don't know quite what it'll say yet, but it'll be basically about how the Rebellion has taken many losses, but from the ashes comes something better.
@The Kyzer and everyone else, any objections to this?
