Desev, though wiry, is stronger than most young boys his age. By outsider standards, his training regimen would most certainly be considered harsh, if not abusive. To a Mandalorian, his training is that of a future ori'ramikad, or supercommando. Not only is it physically demanding, but it requires much more endurance than most grown adults possess.​
Constant aerobic exercise, reflex drills, and his Force sensitivity have gifted Desev with deft hands, swift reflexes, and surprising flexibility. He is unaware that his incredibly quick reflexes are a manifestation of his latent Force ability.​
Extensive training and exposure has boosted Desev's level of endurance far beyond most young boys his age. Despite his frequent scrapes, bruises, and cuts, he is exceptionally healthy and maintains equally healthy eating habits (unless visiting his grandfather, who always has a freshly made uj cake at the ready).​
Between the practical schooling he received from his father and mother and the weeks at a time he spent with his Uncle Coro, Desev has learned a great deal. Even so, he has a lot more to learn before his coming of age.​
Raised by a number of the most well-known Mandalorians in recent history, Desev has had the opportunity to travel much of the galaxy in his youth. From these frequent travels he has learned much of the state of the galaxy, how it operates, of good and evil and all that lies in between. However, he still has much to learn about life in general.​
Desev is usually quiet and reserved. Though he has extraordinary potential, he hasn't yet developed into a strong, convincing leader like his father. He prefers to let others do the talking.​

Duranium, turadium, and a very small amount of ciridium were combined to form a new ternary alloy, which was forged by repeatedly heating, hammering, and folding the metal. The entire process took nearly a standard month to complete. The result was incredibly strong and resilient armor plating, which was used extensively in the construction of Desev's personal armor (helmet, gorget, pauldrons, chest and back plating, cod plate, culet plate, thigh plates, knee plates, shin plates, & boot plates).

Beneath most of the the armor plating, within specially designed sleeves, are sheets of reactive ballistic gel. This gel hardens upon impact, dispersing physical and blast impacts over a wider area, reducing the chance of injury and the likelihood of knockdowns.
A formfitting, durafiber bodysuit with a thin, synthmesh overlay is worn beneath the armor. This bodysuit provides a final and formidable layer of protection over exposed areas, especially those between armor plates. Though not nearly as effective as plate armor, it allows a surprising amount of protection from potentially lethal cuts, flying shrapnel, and most light energy and explosive blasts. It also provides excellent protection from fire, acid, electrical currents, intense heat, and cold. It is hermetically sealed.
At the top of the antenna is a rangefinder capable of tracking up to ten targets from a distance of fifty meters. The rangefinder feeds data directly to a display overlay inside the helmet which shows the range and movement of any targets in a three-hundred and sixty degree radius. The overlay also links to a select few of Desev's weapons to display fire vector and range data, enabling him to fire more accurately.

In addition to those features, a macrobinocular viewplate and optical sensor package enables Desev to see greater distances, automatically adjust to low or high light conditions, and view his surroundings in various vision modes such as infrared. Penetrating radar allows him to see behind nearby doors and walls, though this function has limited range and is easily blocked by dense materials (such as neuranium). The helmet also possesses a sophisticated sound filter that can dampen or completely block harmful or high pitch noises. Starships, if equipped with a sophisticated slave circuit, can also be controlled via his helmet heads-up display.

Most helmet and armor functions can be controlled via a control pad attached to the left bracer, but they can also be activated using voice commands or even eye blinks. The control pad is usually disabled and covered with a small armored panel when not in use. It can be reactivated with a voice command or by entering a specific code into the panel itself.

The helmet is also equipped with a rebreather, which can filter harmful gases and toxins as well as supply the wearer with up to thirty standard minutes of oxygen.
Each gauntlet contains an ejectable vibroblade for close combat encounters. They eject just above the wrist and with a closed fist, clear the hand by almost 10.6 centimeters in length. The left bracer contains a flame micro-projector, which is connected to an armored canister of a highly flammable, compressed aerosol. It contains enough fuel for one minute of continuous use. The right bracer also contains a small pop-out rocket launcher. It is usually armed with a single high explosive micro-rocket, one fragmentation micro-rocket, and one glop micro-rocket.

The gauntlets are the only pieces of Desev's armor forged from beskar.
The armored boots contain a single forward ejecting blade for close quarters combat. These make a simple, well placed kick exceptionally lethal. They also contain electro-magnetic grippers on the sole that allow the wearer to attach firmly to metal surfaces, such as the hull of starships. On their automatic setting, these grippers switch on and off to make walking possible.

Description:

The MTIG is a non-lethal hand grenade that utilizes a powerful electro-magnetic pulse to temporarily disrupt sensitive electronic systems or in most cases, disable them entirely. It is especially effective against droid targets. Unshielded organic targets caught within the blast radius may be stunned temporarily and experience severe electrical burns and intense headaches.

Pressing the activator mechanism once will initiate a two second time-delay fuse. Two pushes will initiate a five second time-delay fuse. Three pushes will initiate a ten second time-delay fuse. Four pushes in quick succession disarm the device. Holding the activator mechanism down for several seconds will arm the dead-man's trigger.

Description:

The BDAG is a non-lethal hand grenade that, upon activation, releases a complex, blaster dissipating aerosol cloud. Concentrated, the aerosol will dissipate most light to medium blaster bolts. Heavier, more powerful bolts lose coherence as they pass through the cloud, weakening them considerably. Dispersed, the cloud will still dissipate most light blaster bolts, though medium to heavy blaster bolts will only suffer a slight decrease in power and form. Clear and odorless, the aerosol does not obscure vision when concentrated, though it may cause minor skin irritation in some species and in rare cases, breathing difficulty. It is best suited for use in an enclosed environment.

If prolonged exposure to the aerosol is expected, it is recommended that all operators utilize a rebreather.

A twist lever on one end of the grenade will arm it. It has a three second time-delay fuse.

Yeah, why? I'm struggling with the biography, because I had a good chunk finished in Word, but lost it somehow. I can't find the file anywhere. I'm trying to get my motivation back to write it all over again.

I'm curious, with him being a Skywalker and all, how you plan to RP him as an 11 year old. That's a question I keep scratching my head over.

I wish he could be a few years older, but then he would have had to have been conceived much earlier. Eleven is actually pushing it, since it suggests he was born long before the invasion. Mandalorians are considered adults at thirteen, though, and I imagine he'll be a step ahead of many of his peers... so looking at it from that angle, he'll be ready to tackle the adult stuff and his legacy pretty early. It won't be easy, but I don't see any other way to do it.

I'm up for suggestions, though.

Works in progress don't belong in the Character Profiles section, only finished works. I just posted this here so I can work with the format in relative peace, since this sub-forum isn't used anymore. Only a few people have access (Kiro, TheLastLine, Sisk).

I'm up for suggestions, though.

A lot of people retcon their characters at major milestones. For example, when a Jedi Padawan character becomes a Knight, some people have been known to make them a few years older. You could always, maybe at the completion of Desev's training, retcon him from 13 to 16 or something.

Time doesn't mean that much on SWRP.

You could retcon the relationship of the parents so that Desev was conceived much earlier, kept hidden away for a time, then his existence becomes known later.
