| Sheeba Pazda Besadii Dogi, known simply as Dogi to his inner circle, is an esteemed member of the Council, one who can trace his family's involvement with both the current and former iterations of the Cartel to days preceding even the Ona'bak Retrade. With a love for the arts—namely soapy holo-dramas, classical literature, and romantic paintings—it's a wonder that Dogi has anything to do with the Cartel at all. Unbeknownst to most, he cultivates a large personal collection of artwork, filling his sanctum with sculptures, engravings, and long-lost manuscripts. While some would call him soft, Dogi is well-spoken and prone to embellishing stories out of enthusiasm, and can deliver a potent tongue lashing to all who question his authority. Where most of his ilk might've been content to wait for their predecessor's natural demise, it is rumored that Dogi had a more "direct" involvement with the gruesome fate that Triton Besadii Defelice, former Kajidii and Dogi's cousin, suffered at the hands of an unknown assassin. The rumor, spread by jealous members of rival Kajidics, is largely unfounded: Dogi is known for being squeamish despite his clan's reputation for cruelty, and the close relationship that he and Triton shared was never in question. Some sources indicate there were tensions growing between the pair, but the reason for their falling out, if one exists at all, remains a mystery. Among the Council, Dogi is known for being remarkably susceptible to suggestion, implying that he is especially weak-willed. However, with business booming there are few who think to challenge his decisions, especially with a retainer full of the galaxy's most dangerous bounty hunters waiting to serve the Besadii Kajidic on a moment's notice. | ||||||||||||||||

| Born in 201 ABY, Gaja Desilijic Vuul is a venerable Hutt who, despite his risky lifestyle choices, has lived an extremely long and fulfilling life. A member of the prominent Desilijic Hutt clan, Gaja was a distant relative of the ruling Kajidii at the time. For his first few centuries of existence, he was granted the wealth and opulence befitting a Hutt of his clan with none of the responsibilities of leadership. Spurning some of the passively hedonistic choices of other Hutts, Gaja instead developed a need for something entirely unnatural for Hutts. He fell in love with the idea of speed. As a Huttlet, he grew interested in the various swoop races and circuits throughout Hutt Space, and the childish idolization of famous swoop jockeys eventually developed into an envious desire to join their ranks. Gaja created a private swoop track on Nal Hutta and paid Mobquet an exorbitant amount of credits to specially develop a swoop capable of bearing his immense weight. The size of the swoop rivaled large airspeeders, but it was surprisingly fast, just as Gaja wanted. Racing in staged contests, Gaja lived a hundred years in total bliss. Those who publicly suggested the races were anything but genuine testaments to his skill as a pilot or, worse, laughed derisively at the unusual sight of a Hutt flying rapidly through the air were summarily executed. Taking control of the Desilijic clan in his later years, Gaja has reluctantly decreased the number of races he actively participates in while expanding the family's control of galactic racing circuits. KAJIDII PETAR ANJILIAC AQUILA |
| Petar Anjiliac Aquila is the youngest and by far most ambitious member of the Grand Council. In his youth he was surrounded by some of the galaxy's most exotic gems and ores found throughout the galaxy, as well as being exposed to the darkest of spice mines. His lust for rare and precious gemstones is rivaled only by his appetite for bizarre and expensive delicacies. While uninterested in most in the galaxy's problems and politicss, he is very interested in the internal statecraft of the Cartel itself. The Imperium and slow-developing rebellion have little to offer him that he does not already possess, or that is within his grasp in Hutt-controlled or independent space. Greedy, he is extremely frugal in his spending and is well known within the Cartel as a miser, even when it comes to his own soldiers and advisors. Holding direct control over half of the Cartel's spice operations certainly provides him with leverage with the other families, especially those with spice trades. His fixation on mines has also led the Anjiliac Kajidic developing into one of the most efficiently ruthless terraforming and industrializing organizations in the galaxy. Through various shell corporations, Petar has steered the Kajidic to serving as the major industrial powerhouse in the Cartel. No mean feat given his relatively young age and the difficulty of managing so many planetary scale operations. As such, even in his young age, Petar has amassed a great respect from the other Lordas, even if they refuse to acknowledge it. Although notoriously parsimonious, the occasional generous donation provides him with enough thankful supporters and dependents to keep those who would see him harmed wary to commit to his removal. ... | ||||||||||||||||
