Name: Fareel Cirus (goes by his last name Cirus pronounced Seer-us)
Faction: None (at the moment)
Rank: None (at the moment)
Species:Gungan
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Height: 6ft 5in
Weight 195
Eyes: Green
Hair: None
Skin: Orange
Credits: 1000
Distinguishing Marks: a few scars amongst his face a chunk of his ear bitten off (presumably)
Dominate Hand: Right
Force Sensitive: No
Appearance:
34j7kn9.jpg

Strength: Not very strong in his upper body although capable of lifting a man off the ground this is more because of the incredible leg strength inherent in all gungans he has learned to use his legs more than his upper body and therefore knows how to balance weight distribution in his favor when lifting heavy objects.
Dexterity: Quick and agile and even more so in the water he uses this to his greatest advantages.
Constitution: Becomes dried out and very uncomfortable in dry heated climates. Other than that normal.
Intelligence: Gungans are for a most part considered to be very dimwitted. Cirus being an exception uses this to his every advantage being clever and somewhat intelligent he is by no means a guide to the galaxy but he has been around the starport a few times.
Wisdom: The knowledge of his trade has served him well and he is ever learning the continued student rather than a wishful master.
Charisma: He's what one would call business-savvy and has a way with words that tends to pull even the utmost opposition to at least consider his ideals for a moment.

Skills: An incredible pilot of just about anything from starships to dowopee ( gungan for speeders) he is also an expert shot with a blaster but if you put a vibroblade in his hands you might as well be handing him a butterknife. Also he is incredibly good at fixing up ships due to a short lived job in the spaceports of Nar Shadaa.

Strengths: Fast and agile a sure shot with just about any blaster known to man and could out maneuver his way through nearly any blockade. Many a bar fight has over time given way to at least decent street fighting tactics.
Weaknesses: Totally unproficient in swordsmanship and without the use of his legs he is rendered rather harmless unless holding a blaster or if one is prone to conversation he might talk you out of whatever it was you were going to do. He also has a rather bad gambling habbit but whether that is a strength or a weakness is as he would say "Dat besa upins to da lucky lady." (That is up to lady luck.)

Gear: KYD-21 blaster pistol
25jwjrt.jpg
a vibroknife not suitable for fighting some kind of hand held explosive device and a pair of goggles commonly warn on dryer planets to keep his eyes from drying.

Ship: Called:"Boss Bombad" was a YT-2400_light_freighter
vhqjgw.jpg

The YT-2400 freighter was mainly used for smuggling duty. The ship featured the trademark saucer-shaped hull of the YT series, and, like most Corellian designs, was fast, tough, and endlessly modifiable.

With thick armor plating and bulky engines, the YT-2400 could easily handle the strain of deep-space combat. The vessel had power to spare and an oversize hull begging for hot-rodded engines and powerful weapons.

The YT-2400 featured a rounded hull with a pair of starboard bracing arms that connected to the cockpit compartment, which was essentially a long tube. The aft section of the cockpit tube contained the primary escape pod, which seated six. The bracing arm's interior space generally was used for crew quarters and living space.

The rounded hull area was devoted to cargo holds and ship's systems. In practice, much of the interior hull space was taken up by modified engines, power generators, weapons systems, and all the other illegal goodies any self-respecting smuggling ship needed. A second escape pod, as well as the airlock, was located on the far side of the cargo compartment, directly opposite the bracing arms. (taken from http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/YT-2400_light_freighter ))

Personality: Clever and somewhat egocentric he does however know that there is a time and a place for everything and he knows how to keep those things in check. He tends to be wherever there is a profit to be made and loves a good bottle of correllian whiskey. Cirus tends to keep his cards close to his chest so to speak never revealing more than necissary to get what he himself needs time has taught this smuggler the value of secrecy.

History:

Being raised on Naboo with the other gungans he always had a penchant for trouble, some say the scars he got didn't came from some of the harsher punishment methods once employed by the gungan people. Cirus will neither deny or agree but one thing is certain they were earned well. He had learned early on that if he hid his clever nature life would be easier he wouldn't get punished as harshly if he were to "find" a few items here and there and simply walk off with them, as time went on he made friends with the less savory sort, his parents had long ago left him for his own when he had came of age and therefore had very little contact years later finding that he was banished from gungan society they would shed a few tears for their poor boy.

Cirus had made friends indeed starting illegal rings for gambling and developing a taste for the outside world he would sneak into the less populated nabooian towns and have a few rounds at the local cantinas. He would bring "gifts" for his friends often getting them rather drunk and after awhile he began smuggling in vast quantities of drink. Almost like a foreshadowing to what he describes as his "awkenin' to moole callin." (Awakening to my calling) he supplied his friends with guns and ale from outsiders and began making raids on various towns.

Eventually one by one his friends were caught and although he never killed anyone himself the deaths were on his head for being the ringleader he knew now that the gungans figured out he was smarter than the average gooberfish and thus he lost a valuable asset on his homeworld. After one day desiding that he was indeed no longer having fun nor were there much profits to be made he cleaned out his headquarters of all valuables after sending his remaining men out on a final raid he went up to the local villages and sold everything he had with which he bought a starship and headed out into the wide world, his lifes ambitions were becoming reality after all.

Now of course you don't just become a smuggler by buying a load of bantha pie (fodder). After flying to the nearest planet buying a few books and learning to read basic he started to hear of a place called Nar Shadaa apparently a smugglers paradise he keyed in the chords and sped off quickly in his ship newly christened the Boss Bombad a mockery of the rulers he had fled from. Once reaching his destination he met up with a few smugglers in a cantina and after winning a few hands of pazaak he quickly found it in his favor to offer them their money back in exchange for a place to start learning the trade. That place could be none other than the local spaceport. It was here he learned the tricks of ship modification, he started small "borrowing" a peice here or there as he learned more and more he built his own speed and shield boosters after aquiring a surprising amount of credits due to the need to keep quite on the work he was doing for a select few others he used it to buy genuine upgrades such as heavier firing lasers and a coolant system that would allow them to fire faster and longer and he himself learned to install and repair these.

After he felt his ship was no longer quite the humble cargo carrier it used to be...and believe me this was many modifications later...He began searching for jobs he would hear opportunists with to big a mouth speaking about private contracts on Nar Shadaa and this was when he took his first meeting and he stole the job right out from under the nose of some fool who was bragging about it to his buddy at the ports. After completing it he was to meet his employer near a pit in the innards of the city where a gang fight had once been fought and many used it to toss out their junk here and there, it was a perfect place to make the transaction...if there wasn't already an odd amount of beings there including an echani a jawa and a motley assortment of others fighting over...a droid?....well that appeared to be it. He sized everyone up and decided in the end to take the Jawa's side attacking a human and an echani there was another there but he seemed to not be in the fight.

After a few heated shots and words they escaped, a thermal detonator thrown by Cirus knocked over a building but all in all it was pretty smooth. After getting into a ship owned by the Jawa...who Cirus found to be named Qur'tik and piloting them back to a hidden hanger in Nar Shadaa which the gungan called home he explained that this would be a safehaven for the jawa should he need to stay but that if his trust was betrayed there would be quite a bit of "smashin" going on.

yeah I never thought I'd see the day a gungan looked purely awesome but like the theme of the character there's an exception to every rule.

oddly enough I don't like em much either due to their blundering nature portrayed by Jar Jar but I thought I might be able to change that perspective a little I mean after all not all gungans are like Jar Jar he was banished for it so if it was punishable...at least thats my line of thought.

You teach a Gungan decent Common and he could actually be (dare I say it) interesting. The way I see it, Gungans are proud, graceful creatures, just stereotyped by one terrible character. As Illusionist put it, clumsiness is frowned upon, even banishable, so they obviously take pride in works of beauty - Otoh Gungah is a perfect example of this, melding practicality and beauty even into their city as a whole. They could have just as easily drained an underwater cave and place their bubble thingy around the mouth of it, but instead chose something completely different. I guess in that respect it makes them very akin to the Naboo.

join the midnight men...

He's a smuggler. He doesn't seem the type.

I do really like this character. There aren't that many non-humans. I also like the idea he's an EVIL gungan!!!! He'd make a better pirate, methinks. He would ba an asset to the Red Shadows.

...I was expecting alot worse of a review from what I've heard about yourself...cool glad you like it, and I plan on having him learn basic in the future cause frankly I don't like translating to gunganese all the freaking time...it's harder than you'd think...

Eh I just looked at the idea behind the red shadows, you attack the sith. Well this guys a smuggler and would consider it insane to attack a sith ship he's to much of a survivalist.
