Description
Fondor is a planet in the Freeworlds Territory of the Tapani sector, famous throughout the galaxy for its extensive orbital shipyards, outclassed only by those at Corellia and Kuat. The capital city is Fondor City.
A planet under turmoil!
Fondor is fighting in many civil disputes throughout the planet. The native Fondorian people are hoping to regain what was originally theirs from the human superiors.
In addition, Riots within the working class of Fondor has begun to break. Call for a change in power is spreading through the planet. The Fondor Guild of Shipwrights is beginning to feel the pressure building up within.

History
Fondor is located in the Freeworlds Territory of the Tapani sector, a sector technically part of the Colonies, but so old and well-regarded that many considered it a part of the Core Worlds. The Fondorians are baseline Human, but with no hair and purple blood.
At first, when the humans arrived on Fondor, they worked alongside the Fondorians; together they created the Shipyards and Academy promising equal share of its benefits. As more humans began to emigrate into Fondor, the treatment of Fondorians began to steadily decline.
Eventually, the Fondor Guild of Starshipwrights created a mandate requiring all Fondorians to immediately leave Fondor city and go to the Fondor Mining fields. Shocked, the Fondorians rebelled demanding righteous equality. This was quickly put down by the authorities: all Fondorians that rebelled were either killed or captured and forced into their new living location. This is known to Fondorians as the path of blood.
Within the recent past, The Fondorians have begun to rebel again. This time their purpose is to take control of the Planet by destroying the Guild of Shipwrights. Several smaller cities have become the warzones between these two powers. Many million peoples have become victims to the violent rebellion.
The Fondorians have also sparked the call for equality from a portion of the working class. They demand equal rights to the elitist members of the Guild of Shipwrights.

Government
The Fondor Guild of Starshipwrights (FGS) is the ancient ruling body of the industrialized planet of Fondor and the accompanying Fondor Shipyards. It is built up of the shareholders of the Fondor Shipyards Company. The guild regulates all internal affairs on the planet The top 11 stockholders of the Fondor Shipyards make up the positions in the Fondor Guild of Shiprights (FGS). All members of FGS together control 68% of the Fondor shipyard stocks; the remaing percentage is controlled by others
Every six years the members of FGS vote for who will be Fondor’s Senator. The current Senator is (open for anyone interested)

A common place for the workers of Fondor to both work and enjoy life, Fondor City is the Capital city of Fondor. It holds the Headquarters of the FGS and is the largest populated region on the entire planet. It is the flagship city of Fondor and has direct access to the planetary shipyards.

If you look directly up when on Fondor, this is your view. Ships are always being created and sent up into space to be docked in Fondor’s drydocks. The Fondor shipyards are the pride and joy of the citizens and all who call themselves people of Fondor. In addition they make Fondor widely recognized for its massive production capabilities.

The Fondor Academy has produced many advancements to the galactic technology. This facility has state-of-the-art research equipment and is strongly funded by the FGS especially for creating new advanced war crafts.

This is where The Fondorians live and work. Here they stay underground and assist in the collection of Various natural materials. While some of their brethren have left to fight FGS, others remain. Having given up on the hopes of equality, these people hope to impress FGS with their loyalty.
