DESCRIPTION
Force cloak, also known as Force camouflage, was a Force ability involving the manipulation of light and sound waves to render a user more difficult to see or hear. Force cloak has a wide variety of applications to help conceal oneself. Unlike like its cousin, Force Illusion, a practitioner using Force cloak can fool both organic and inorganic sensors and beings or those otherwise resistant to such mental manipulation, making it a powerful tool for infiltration, sabotage, and ambushes if appropriate countermeasures are not taken to prepare against it.

Although an excellent defense against sight and sound, it can be quite easily detected in close proximity by those attuned to the Force or those who are looking. It cannot be used in conjunction with an ability to dampen one’s presence in the Force, one must choose one or the other, complete invisibility to both physical sight and the Force is not possible.

The faster and louder one is being, the more difficult it is to conceal. Muffling one’s quiet creeping footfalls is much easier to maintain than a full on concealment while running. Concealing oneself in combat is all but impossible as is hiding anything more than oneself.

SPECIAL NOTES
You cannot use it to achieve complete invisibility from your opponent on a whim. You must break their line of sight in order effectively cloak yourself again. If you advance within ten meters of an opponent, they will be able to spot an outline of your character or have a sense that something is wrong if they are looking directly at you. You cannot conceal anything more than yourself with this, no matter how skilled you are with the power. Even additional armor and weapons will make it more difficult to conceal oneself.

INTENT
To flesh out Force powers to comply with the site's new rules without a level system. This is a guideline and should not be used for rule lawyering. Credit to @Dawyn for portions of the original write-up.
