We know you pay a lot, but you've been paying high prices for so long it's starting to become the norm for you. We were under two dollars last year, then last April we went over two dollars and then after Katrina we were over three dollars. It's not the norm for us, so that's why we worry about it.

For fucks sake! I get a petrol allowance because I have to travel quite far to work, but they won't conpencate for this unless it becomes a long term price, I'm already short on cash, and it's christmas. :2:

Yeah, the blast woke up my mum, she thought it was an earthquake... apparently the shaking was felt down in Norfolk.

I did'nt feel any shaking in Norfolk.. :19:

But that sucks.. Fuel prices will rise a lot in England probably.

Not in australia....I meant in the uk you melon..I doubt it will effect australia's petrol
[/b]
It might actually, indirectly. I don't what the problem is (and I can't really find out right now since I'm at work and shouldn't even be on here) but I know after the hurricane in the US they had to get petrol from else, which meant the market that Aussie and NZ buy from, so that pushed up prices here, so indirectly the hurricane pushed prices up over here in Aussie and NZ.

You guys in London do have those nifty double deckers you can ride though. *laughs and winks*

As for the rest of you, I know what it's like to some degree. When gas was over $3 here I was having to fill up every week for the distances I drive to work. It could have been worse if I was driving a V6 instead of a 4 cylinder. Thank goodness for compact cars!
