The room was dimly lit by a lone light, shining above her head. The lack of illumination did not both the woman sitting on the floor. Her solid red eyes were made for her and all her kind to see well in the dark. Her added force sensitivity was only a plus. The Force allowed her to be aware of her surroundings, open and ready. Her mentor had taught her that the Force was an asset that made Chiss even stronger than before. The Force was the only thing she needed to survive but still she doubted it and it's power. Her mind was molded to believe in logic above all, yet the Force was unlogical. How can the Force control all aspects of the universe? She had no clue, but as she grew stronger she no longer cared. She was doing this not for herself but for her Ascendancy. They needed more people like her and she needed more power to accomplish this. That is why she was alone in the bare room. She awaited the arrival of her new mentor, the man that would bolster her to Immortal Knight. Nia hoped to improve and learn Force powers and continue her lightsaber combat training.*In her hands she held that lightsaber. Her fingers stroking the cylinder, trying to remain patient. Her mind drifted to her childhood, which was filled with moments of solitude just like this. She sighed to herself and closed her eyes, trying to find her center.

The New Grand Imperator of the Chiss strode through the halls of one of the many military bases that had been constructed. Rather than attending to duties he'd have on a normal day, the blood eyed Chiss decided to observe, and possibly train, one of the Immortals that wandered these halls. He hadn't tested the strength of his shock troops in a long while, and without knowing the strength of their lowest chain links, how could he attempt to test the strength of the strongest? For this, he had reached out and drawn to one recruit, Sev'niay'nuruodo, commonly called 'Nia.' She would be the test.

The silver armor of an Immortal Veteran graced the shoulders of the Imperator as he stepped into the room, his hand placed upon the hilt of his sheathed sword. His presence reached out like frightening tendrils, threatening to devour all that they touched. As the emotionless eyes looked over the Chiss woman in the room, the Imperator spoke. His voice was as a rumble, like concrete grinding upon concrete. It was quite different than the voice he had during his succession 'party,' which had been a put on tone to mask the true sound of his almost menacing voice.
"What is it you seek to first learn here? The Force? Or the blade? For an Immortal, they are of equal importance, for while the Force shows you to be strong, the blade shows you to be a terror."
