Future Faction Technology

so i've thought for awhile what type of technology people want from this site in general. some people make some borderline "not in the spirit of star wars" but i'm not bagging on that. in fact one reason i like this site is the fact that we can bring in elements from outside of star wars (to some extent) but for that reason i have made the following poll. I'm curious just inspiration wise what sparks the most interest in your opinion?

Anyway, we should mostly keep it to Star Wars, especially since we're from an era preceding the films. That said, I don't think there's anything wrong with thinking outside of the box and creating some new tech that would reasonably fit within the SW universe. Other futuristic sci-fi tech, as long as it fits in SW, should be fine.

Alright. Well, for the Republic in particular, I'd imagine that we can't use any tech that surpasses that in the PT movies, at least on a large scale (ie. military-grade tech). I don't think there's anything wrong with a couple of wild prototypes or experimental designs, though, as long as they fit within the site rules etc. :)

SWRP has always had a problem where people draw from too many differing, contrasting aesthetics, at least in my opinion. We need more 'traditional Star Wars'. Granted, that can be a huge pain in the arse when trying to find technology or even just general pictures that aren't heavily pinned to a specific era (good look finding battle art that doesn't include Stormtroopers) but eh.
