Galactic Alliance Missions

miAA.jpg

The following is a list of missions available to Galactic Alliance and Jedi characters. For any missions involving an enemy faction, contact the leaders of that faction to get role players from their side involved.

To sign up for a mission, just post in this thread.

Terrestrial Missions

During what seemed like a routine exercise, a solider was found dead inside a combat simulator pod. Doctors declared that the unthinkable has occurred: murder. The murder victim was known to have a chip on his shoulder, and some men were known to dislike him for it, but who, especially honorable Alliance soldiers, would take the matter to such an extreme end?

Objective: Aid the investigation of the murder, bring the culprit in for his crime.
Risk rating: Low [Character death is unlikely, unless the murderer turns violent and takes the PCs by surprise. Exercise caution throughout the investigation]

A transport carrying an important dignitary has crashed on a moon of a planet. Soldiers have been sent to rescue him before he falls pray to one of the infamous local beasts, known as Marsh Haunts.

Marsh Haunts are monstrous, Force-using creatures. They're vaguely humanoid creatures that inhabit fens, marshes, and other wetlands. Their green-grey skin is dull and peeling, which helps them blend into their swampy surroundings. The head of a Marsh Haunt is set deeply into it's shoulders, adorned by red eyes that spark with a cunning gleam.

The terrifying beast acquired its horrible reputation due to its ability to instill overwhelming fear into their victims through the Force, causing them to flee and making them easy prey. They prefer to attack in groups by ambushing their prey, and are fearsome and relentless once engaged.

Objective: Find the dignitary and escort him home.
Risk rating: Moderate [Character death may result from negligence once engaged with the Marsh Haunts; do not assume that just because you are fighting NPCs you will automatically survive the encounter]

Slots and NPCs:
2-3 PCs of any rank willing to go on the mission
2 neutral parties willing to RP the Marsh Haunts and dignitary, respectively

There have been reports of strange activities at one of the ancient ruins of a Jedi enclave. When soldiers investigated the ruins they caught pirates using the location as a base for raids in the sector.

Objective: Stop the pirates illegal activities and their desecration of the ruins.
Risk rating: Moderate [Character death may result from negligence in the battle with the pirates, but unless they wrestle you to the ground and begin firing from pointblank range, standard issue Alliance armor should protect from most of their outdated weapons]

Slots and NPCs:
2-3 Alliance PCs of any rank Captain & below (Sergeant & below for non-commissioned corps)
2 neutral parties NPCing approximately 10 armed pirates

Reports from Onderon reveal a burgeoning threat. A swarm of what appears to be chrysalide has taken refuge in a grotto on the outskirts of Iziz. Several witnesses claim that the creatures look like mutated drexyl, claiming that they glow eerily in low light and exert an aura of iniquity. The latter is unconfirmed, though all witnesses firmly agree on the point. In any case, the creatures have abducted a handful of civilians and ravaged the land in general. With the current state of Onderonian affairs, civil authorities do not have the manpower to take on such a threat.

Objective: Find and kill the chrysalides residing near Iziz.
Risk rating: High [Character death is a very possible outcome if you are not prepared for the threat. Regular drexyl are capable of tearing through unwary squads. In chrysalide form, their capabilities are greatly enhanced.]

Slots and NPCs:
3-5 Alliance PCs of any rank Captain & below (Sergeant & below for non-commissioned corps)
1-3 neutral parties NPCing approximately 8 chrysalides (open to interpretation)

Abstract: It is advisable to find one or more Jedi to accompany you on this mission. The number of chrysalide will be determined by the person or people NPCing the pack. Your character will still die if you make the wrong decisions.

Space Missions

An important Senator’s luxury ship has been hijacked and is being held by pirates demanding a ransom. The pirates have a fighter escort of two slightly outdated ships that will have to be dealt with before the shuttle can be boarded, meaning both navy and ground personnel should participate. The ship has two docking locations, at the rear of the ship next to the engine bay, so using two-person ships is advised. The Senator is most likely being held in the bridge, and any boarders will have to get past traps set up by the pirates, so be wary as you explore the ship. Before the pirates took full control the crew was able to disable the ship's engines, so there is a chance one or more pirates may be in the engine bay.

Objective: Rescue the senator. The pirates may kill the senator if the wrong choices are made, so be careful how you go about this.
Secondary Objective: Eliminate the pirates, save the remaining crew and recapture the ship.
Risk rating: Moderate-High

Slots and NPCs: 1 Senator PC (or NPC), 4-6 NPC Pirates onboard the shuttle and 2 Pirate fighter escorts – ships to be decided by RPers, NPC crew, 3-4 PC GA personnel with ships owned by the character or GA.

Bounty Missions

NOTE: These are all NPC bounties.
NOTE 2: All bounties need to be taken in alive.

Description: Salazar is an Iridonian mercenary for hire, specializing in sniping. Reports claim that he is responsible for a massacre of monks on Ando Prime. Caring little for the politics of the galaxy, he has no qualms about killing Sith and Jedi. Salazar was recruited into the Juuni Viinn Jho after killing another recruit but shoving his jetpack into the recruit’s face and igniting it.
Notes: Salazar is a sniper, so getting close to him is adviseable. He has a jetpack and may try to flee on it.
Last Sighting: Salazar was last seen hunting birds on Naboo

Description: Raines is an archbishop of the Order of the 12 Crosses. He has been promoting the religion to strike against the ‘heretics’, which consist of any Force user not in their order. As the figurehead of his campaign, his removal would cause the campaign to lose velocity.
Notes: Raines usually has many followers with him.
Last Sighting: Raines leads worship at a temple on Telti.

Description: Izzy was a former Galactic Alliance intelligence officer. However, after being burned, he decided to spy on both the Sith Empire and Galactic Alliance in order to earn cash on the black market. Discover the password to access Izzy’s malware so it can be deleted.
Notes: Izzy uses hired help to protect him.
Last Sighting: Izzy has been vacationing on Zeltron.

Description: Zan is a renown Sabacc player at Tatooine. While her gambling may seem harmless, in reality, it’s a front for a sinister scheme. Famous for sleeping with people who beat her, she is secretly drugging winners and stealing their credits. Even worse, gambles with intelligence gathered by Izzy.
Notes: Zan has a handout blaster. She has some poison pills with her.
Last Sighting: Zan is participating in a Sabacc tournament on Tatooine.

Description: Echo is a smuggler of illicit weapons. Echo has hands in several black market operations on numerous worlds, especially Nar Shaada. While the Hutts tolerated Echo’s dealings, it was later revealed that Echo was getting merchandise by stealing from the Hutts, along with stealing from the Sith Empire and Galactic Alliance.
Notes: Recently, one of Echo’s clients was arrested, who revealed he had a meeting with Echo. Disguise as clients and get close to Echo. If possible, find out where Echo’s secret cache is and obtain Imperial garments. Echo also relies on bodyguards to protect him, so he'll be almost defenseless once the guards are taken out.
Last Sighting: Echo operates out of the Jekk'Jekk Tarr on Nar Shaada.

Description: Crocodile is a Gungan doctor stationed at Naboo. He was recently discovered to be stealing drugs from the pharmacy there and selling them on the black market, along with several engineered strains of the Blue Shadow Virus. The Blue Shadow Virus' destruction has priority over Crocodile's capture.
Notes: Hazard suits are adviseable. Crocodile has been known to smoke, so it's unlikely he'll release any viruses in the same room he is in.
Last Sighting: Crocodile was last seen fleeing into the Naboo jungles.

Description: Vander is a Cathar in charge of security at Juuni Viinn Jho’s operation on Corellia. While authorities can’t prove he’s done any wrong, rumors have it that anyone who messes with him or Juuni Viinn Jho disappear, never to be seen again. Legend has it that Vander keeps a tooth from each of his victims on a necklace he wears constantly.
Notes: Vander has a chaingun and two heavy pistols. He is not above using his claws.
Last Sighting: Vander works at a Corellian warehouse.

Desription: Denre is a Taung contract killer who, unlike Salazar, specializes in melee weaponry. This sadist has a signature of carving his name into the chest of his victims with a vibroblade. He is wanted in twelve systems. Rumors have it that Denre has been contracted to assassinate a famous Echani duelist.
Notes: Both of his vibroblades are poisoned, so be forewarned, as they induce slow movement and eventually slowing of internal organs in which they’ll shut down; antidote to this common antidote can be found in most military bases.
Last Sighting: Denre was seen arriving at Thyrsus.

Description: Dolfin is a Quarren doctor who was once a Sith healer. Dolfin was exiled and was eventually recruited by Juuni Viinn Jho. With prominent knowledge of anatomy, Dolfin has a knack of being able to prolong torture, preventing any major damage. After torturing a Galactic Alliance ambassador, Dolfin has been deemed an enemy of the Galactic Alliance. Supposedly, the ambassador learned a secret about the Sith, so if possible, obtain the data if it exists. Dolfin allegedly has a facility on Dac.
Notes: It is believed Dolfin is able to use the Force power Morichro. Dolfin uses a single red-bladed lightsaber.
Last Sighting: Dolfin was seen entering an underwater facility at Sar Galva in the Murul Trench at Dac.

Description: Velgato claims to be Templar King of Tae’Sha, something Juuni Viinn Jho extorts by taking advantage of the denizens of Tae’Sha. However, according to records, Velgato is not related to the Templar King. When authorities went after him, Velgato’s royal guard defended him.
Notes: Velgato has Force sensitivity and can use some basic Force powers. His guards will need to be dealt with first.
Last Sighting: Authorities last saw Velgato taking sanctuary in one of the old temples on Tae’Sha.

Description: Elder is a Neti survivor of Krayt’s Sith Empire. Elder continually tried to mobilize Sith under his rule but failed every time. However, he’s now tried a different trick. He has started a school for the Dark Side on Serenno. The students are new to the teachings of the Force, so their mastery is low. If they lose their teacher, the school falls.
Notes: Elder specializes in Dark Side Force powers.
Last Sighting: Elder teaches at his Serenno academy.

Description: Ithen claims to be the legitimate heir to the Cinnagar thrown and is anxious to take war to the Sith Empire. Empress Cake Es Cade has discovered that Ithen is the daughter of a lord’s mistress. The bastard was originally being used as a tool by the lord in attempt to seize the crown but when Juuni Viinn Jho snagged Ithen, the lord was assassinated by Denre. If Ithen continues to stir up trouble, civil war may result within the next few months on Cinnagar.
Notes: Discrediting her is advised, unless risk making her a martyr.
Last Sighting: Ithen has taken residence in a Cinnagaran hotel.

GAIA Missions

NOTE: GAIA missions can only be taken by GAIA characters.

For many weeks, our intelligence operatives have been tracking the communications of two groups which indicate a transaction is about to take place on Duro. 10,000,000 credits worth of baridium, uranium, and a few other volatile elements are going to be shipped off planet to an unknown destination. As it is unlikely that any small time gang would be involved, it is our fear that the Empire may be involved. Whoever the buyer, you need to infiltrate the warehouse and stop the transaction at any cost. The exact location of the warehouse is unknown, but we do have one name. Yoros Wrudd. Find him, tail him, and obtain the appropriate information needed to infiltrate the warehouse.

Objective: Obtain the appropriate information needed to infiltrate the warehouse.
Risk level: Average (given the right team, this should go down without a hitch, but for those unskilled in combat and/or stealth, death is a high possibility.

Slots and NPCs:
Varies

Abstract: Only a small team is necessary, so as not to draw attention, but no one is going in alone. It is preferred that a team of three field agents in direct line with the corresponding number of analysts blend and scour the streets of Duro, then rendezvous before beginning the infiltration of the warehouse. The opposing force is estimated to be; six to ten guards, and representatives from the two factions in question. The amount of protection each representative has is still a variable at this point, but some personal guards are to be expected. Stealth is key in this operation, and will ensure the safety of the agents during the presumed firefight. Any information found immediately after the displacement of all enemy targets ei. their appearances, weapons, and personal information, are to be submitted to the Intelligence Office without question. A cleanup/investigation crew will be deployed upon sounding the all clear.

I edited the post pretty extensively. Not much in the original missions has been changed, just a few grammar fixes and such.

However, Fusion, you will need to find someone to NPC that thread for you as well as at least one other Alliance character to accompany HK-51-20.

I was hoping they would show up when people would be interested. Sort of like how the Empire's mission system is going.

I'm surprised the Hit List isn't up yet.

People can post here.

You can also find people.

I'm surprised the Hit List isn't up yet.

I only said I would take a look at it. From what I've read so far, I don't think it suits the Galactic Alliance and how they would run things. I was concerned about that from the start with the name "Hit List", but wanted to check it out anyway.

Besides, I see it's already been added into the Empire's missions. It suits that faction.

True. No problem, though I would have liked to have been told earlier. Sorry for any confusion.

Allowed and wanted. Probably necessary, considering how big the beasties are.

Just checking as I wasn't sure.

We need more people for it, so far I believe it's just me and Gambler.
