Gathering of Old and New (Ask)

He couldn't help but agree at the comment of him being a decent smuggler and bounty hunter. Never been caught with either, even broke through the Coruscant blockade the Republic set up a few months back, no easy feat but the addicts needed their spice. Pay wasn't too bad either.

"I'm not too well known outside of Tattooine... how'd they hear about me? I made a good Coruscant run a few weeks back, but nothing a decent smuggler couldn't handle."

Looking at her fragile hand that he was sure behind it wasn't soo easy on the eyes... if rubbed the wrong way that is. She was far different than any woman he had ever encountered, and just as interesting to keep his interest long past initial contact.

"What happened to that line Amelia?"

He laughed and replaced her moved hand with his own.

"I find you pretty irresistible too, question is do I take a risk with a potential boss's daughter?"

 

[Emma Lou]

"I don't ask where my parents get their information...I simply find the people and convince them to join. We have great benefits in the Raider's"

She looked down at her own hand in his and smiled up at him.

"And don't worry, I'll be the boss someday"

 

[Rev]

He listened to her wording and smirked, she definitely either just gave herself away, or made a big mistake, he was no fool. Giving her knee a soft squeeze he let out a short friendly laugh.

"You find the people and convince them to join, huh?"

He reached up to his face and removed the sunglasses that would reveal a soft blue, near gray eye color. Staring into the eyes of the woman next to him he brought it out.

"This wouldn't be you convincing me to join, would it?"

 

[Emma Lou]

"No, I am much more forceful when I convince...they usually don't have much of a choice when I am done with them"

She stood up and walked over to the opposite wall.

"So...what's your decision?"

 

[Rev]

Watching her get up was a bit of a disappointment, though with that act alone chances are she was telling the truth. Crossing his arms Bendak took in a deep breath and relaxed a little more into the couch. Closing his eyes he thought about his options here, he had been wanting to escape the 'gates' of Tattooine for sometime, this seemed to be that escape.

"Well Amelia, suppose I got nothin better to do for the time being. I could join up with this Coalition of yours... I will tell you now, it may not be a long lasting relationship."

He smirked and stood up before walking to the center table of the living quarters. She had quite a magnificent ship for being so young. Sliding his hand across the desk it stopped just shy of a cupholder and he peered across at her awaiting either a reaction, or an answer.

 

[Emma Lou]

"That's what they all say"

She smiled and turned towards him.

"And I hope that you will stay for awhile"

 

[Rev]

He couldn't help but laugh at her comment about everyone else stating the same thing. Perhaps this crew was just a group of mercenaries joined together to benefit one man, or group of men. He wouldn't know until the time came, though he did like to be informed.

"Well I guess throw me in with the general population."

He smiled and got up from the couch, heading towards the loading ramp.

"Do you? Well, I hope you'll get that request granted."

 

[Emma Lou]

"Me too"

Amelia smiled and walked toward the loading ramp after him. She leaned up and gave him a soft kiss on the cheek before stepping back and blushing.

"Thank you for hearing me out...oh and watch out for my father and brother"

She pushed a button and the ramp lowered.

"I will send the coordinates of the headquarters to your ship"

 

[Rev]

He couldn't help but smirk at the kiss on the cheek. Looking over and down at her he gave her a nod as if he had known her for years. Hearing the winding of the ramp lowering he took a step on the metallic surface and laughed at the comment.

"Bigger fish to watch out for there Amelia..."

He gave her that cocky smile as it seemed to ride his face much of the time. Sliding the shades back over his eyes he walked down the slow moving ramp and shouted back to her.

"So when do I take you out?"

Continuing his walk he expected to hear nothing, but wasn't about to doubt the flirtatious woman behind him.

"Whenever you want"

She shouted after him with a smile. She smiled inwardly as well...she was the best recruiter they had.

 

[Rev]

Walking across the star port he shook his head. Spotting the crew ship he had one he couldn't help but smile at it's metallic beauty. He had all he needed to get into a business of his own, perhaps get in with the Hutts smuggling spice at his own prices. Only time would tell. As he came into the pilot seat he looked around at the mess Traask made of the ship. He'd need to pay for it to be cleaned. Relaxing into the chair he heard a beep a signal that Amelia had sent him the coordinates. Letting out a sigh he spoke to himself.

"What have I gotten myself into..?"
