Anyone else still interested?

And selling my books would be illegal. They're fan fiction. The first four chapters of The Chosen One will be released on or shortly before September 30th, though.

Ah, I did not realize that.
Knowing that, I am eager to read the chapters now.

i could have characters for this, but this seems to be starting sooner than I’d like. And my ideas are still in the works of being accepted and talked over.

This is completely unrelated to anything regarding the main site storyline. This is set 14,000 years beforehand. Anything you create here couldn't be used in the Story board anyway, so feel free to create a character to join!

Wait, so is it connected to the story as in it happened a LONG LONG time ago? or just another thing entirely? It could be a possibility to set one of my character family back grounds if you allow it. something REALY special.

It's all set in the same continuity, as well as in the continuity of my Alternative Saga series, but it's 14,000 years before our main storyline.

Please note that it's set entirely on Tatooine and the choices for types of character are the Hutt military (any species is fine), the Ophuchi Clan (see the rest of this board for more info), a Tatooine civilian, or something else that would have to be approved by me.

What are you interested in doing? This is a specific story with a pre-determined outcome, so I'd just want to make sure it fits.

The R'yland family has been made up of gipsy and don’t have much of an outstanding history because of this. But I want to give the family a skywalker'ish feel of very few members being outrageously powerful in the force. My character could then be very first R'yland or one of the first who is a hermit that is working on something special in the force that the Jedi would normally look down upon. Kind of what plagueis did but with much longer span and that tends to jump from generation to generation that its almost unnoticed until now in the current age. This R'yland could be hiding in the dessert and he could be interested in what is going on wile continuing his studies and experimentation. Just a hopeful idea.

edit: its ok if this is too much and i am not allowed. if so then nvm, don’t want trouble.

Unfortunately that’s a bit too much. You’re welcome to have an ancestor to your character, but not someone super powerful. Most people who know the Force in this RP will have very, very limited Force powers. This isn’t a RP that will really have super powerful people. There also won’t be very much Jedi involvement.

Just as a suggestion, and this is both relating to this thread and in general, it’s not a good idea to try to make something that is equal to the Skywalker legacy. Trying to force something like that virtually guarantees that it won’t be that good. It’ll come across as trying too hard, and it makes it very easy to take shortcuts that turns characters into Mary Sues.

Instead of trying to make characters equal to Skywalkers, let things evolve naturally. Play your character or characters normally, and see what happens. If it evolves into something great, then that’s awesome. If it doesn’t, that’s awesome too. Whether you feel it’s awesome depends on whether or not you and those who RP with you have fun, not on whether they can be compared to Skywalkers.

Exactly. Good development can generally come accidental, unplanned. If I remember correctly, the current Skywalker legacy wasn't planned at the beginning but rather something that came up. Sometimes things develop that have characters go paths you didn't expect. Jhon Cordatus, if I remember correctly, was gonna just be a Jedi Councilor yet he's been an interim Chief of State, Grandmaster, and Obi-wan wannabe. Even my character Geist Weiss is different than what I intended. Originally he was to be just a Sith who was obsessed with art who occasionally helped people out and made stuff for people but now, as to quote Cassanova, "Geist Weiss being some miracle mastermind behind the galaxy's state of 'wtf'", though I think that's a bit of an exaggeration about Geist.

My apologies, it’s just that I have the experience with people being total control freaks with the skywalker thing and putting every one down while they stay up as undisputed gods. If it were not for my fears than i would never had written my posts XDD I don’t plan to be undermined and treated like a side product by this kind of people. Just want to make my imprint and if it takes time then AMAZING, i am all up for that. what i posted is more in fears because I really don’t want to leave this place, i love it so far.

Edit: please note that this is a worry I am expressing to try and have you understand my point of view to come to a mutual understanding. I actually thought the skywalker family was gone and dead for the use to allow all members common ground. lol

There are two Skywalkers. One is a few months old. The other has no idea she is a Skywalker and her lineage is a complete non-factor. There is nothing we can do with the Skywalkers unless the board was to have a time skip forward by 15 or so years. Don’t focus on the fact that there are Skywalkers alive right now. It’s completely irrelevant to the RP at this time.

If we ever get to the point where the Skywalker story can be explored, which as I said is dependent on a possible future time skip, everyone -- EVERYONE -- would have the opportunity to interact with them and be involved in that Legacies storyline. It would be a story for the benefit of the entire site, not just for a few people. This may not mean much since you’re new and you need time to trust us and all, but we do know what we’re doing and we’re doing it to make the best possible story for everyone. :)

And there's no guarantees (I think) that Lana would remain important, or even alive after the timeskip (as if after the time skip happens). It all depends on the writers. During her first mission, she could slip on a banana peel and fall off a balcony to her death for all that could happen.

LOL thanks guys; I would deafeningly donate money to this site if only someone did not try to steal from me months ago. I am really appreciative of your patience with me. If we ever meet in person 9wich would be great) i would deafeningly pay 30-50 bucks, I am really starting to adore this website haha.

Well if you do ever decide to donate using the "Donate" button at the top of the site, you have my assurances that all money collected via the "Donate" button is used to pay for the costs of the site and nothing else.

Well, thing is, i did a transaction via internet. Then someone in South Carolina somehow was able to buy things on Wal-Mart with my card. I have not used my money via internet from then on. Trying to stay on the safe side, you know? nother site but happened months ago.
