Grand Theft Space Station
As part of a plan to destroy the Fondor Shipyards, a target which has proven a tough nut to crack, the Rebellion plans on stealing the Daedalus Space Station to use as a giant battering ram in order to destroy the shipyards there. The massive space station's incredibly thick hull, and defensive systems make it ideal for the purpose. If successful, it would allow the Rebellion and its Defiance allies to neutralize the yards without having to waste the resources of sending in another fleet, or the risk of losing a battle there. Of course, Daedalus is one of (if not the) largest space stations in active service today. It has a heavy amount of security, and is infamous for being a place where business can always be done without fear of reprisal, so good is the protection. It's theft will be no easy undertaking, and it will require a skilled team to take the station as quickly as possible.
Under the leadership of Bree'tor Suuka, a plan has been devised to take advantage of the station's weakness; it's reliance on automated systems and droids. Already a slicing droid has started to infect the rest of the station's systems with a shutdown command that will allow the Rebels to turn the station off when the time comes, but more work needs to be done to ensure they can evacuate the station, avoid unwanted casualties, and most importantly that they have complete control of the station. To that end invitations have been sent across the Galaxy to those with the skills required, inviting them to a meeting at Hades Tower on the station.

For this thread we're looking for eight participants, who will then be divided into groups of two in order to complete certain tasks so the Rebels/whoever else is coming along have a chance of pulling of this off. Daedalus has been a staple of the timeline for for years now, but as the timeline heads towards a conclusion it's a good time to shake things up, and do the big things we might not do otherwise. After these threads are complete (assuming they are) we will host an open thread with the state of the station being in chaos, and give an opportunity for people to attempt to stop us in our mission, or simple loot portions of the station, and get out while the getting's good.
However it ends up, we hope it will be a fun ride for all involved.
For those that wish to participate in the preparation threads, please understand that we will be using the 48 hour rule. Meaning, if you don't post in 48 hours you will be skipped, and possibly replaced.

For both participants, and alternates, an open thread will be held aboard the station where they will arrive and receive the assignment they will be undertaking. After that thread is finished the assignments will be posted and those assigned will be tagged.
