Have a second Rebel character or not

As the title suggests I'm considering whether or not should I add another character as a rebel. The question for me is whether I should bring in one of my indie chars or just create a new one? Unlike my pilot Forim, I would like go for this other rebel to be an intelligence agent. Opinions anyone?

I'm a little torn when it comes to questions like this. I've come to really like having just one "main" character. First off it allows me to concentrate on one set of plots at a time, considering my often limited writing time, but I've also just had a lot of fun with almost all of my characters being Mando's of the same clan.

That said, I do sometimes get a really strong urge to play something very different, especially when I get inspired by a new book I'm reading or whatever.
