DESCRIPTION​

The Hawk-Bat Interceptor, produced by Rendili SpaceDrive for the open market after failing to successfully market it to Rendili Planetary defense, is a no frills Interceptor that focuses on speed and maneuverability over creature comforts and heavy armaments. Basically little more than two oversized engines strapped to a small fuselage and the crafts single main gun (a respectable dual laser cannon), the Hawk-Bat excels at its role in intercepting enemy Starfighters and other small craft, but its lack of any heavier arms and armor and its limited range allow for little in the way of flexibility. The only other exceptional feature it boasts is it folding wing design- both wing hinge upwards for storage, consuming less deck space and allowing the craft to be docked in tighter formations than many other fighter craft on the market.
