Hey Hutts,

While I realize we’ve still got three more days until the microjump officially hits the site, I just can’t keep my excitement under control, so I’ve decided to give you all the full details of the Empire’s plans immediately post-skip.
The past month (despite appearances) I’ve been a busy little slug and made a bunch of fun content for us to do. Immediately we’ll be jumping into action with all aspects of the Empire. This thread details ONLY the military operations- DSS operations will be announced shortly, and I expect our new Royalty system to meet up, but those details will come in the next few days.
As a final note, if your battlegroup wasn’t assigned to a battle then don’t be alarmed. As a precaution we’re using only a portion of our available forces- we don’t know where or when the Republic will strike back, so we need to be ready to counter. We’ll rotate defensive and offensive fleets and expand offensive capabilities as we see fit.

Finally, we do have a plan for our allied factions. You will be contacted shortly with details, should you accept.

If there are any questions, please feel free to post here. Your commanders will be messaging you before the battles to give you details. As of now this is just a notification, and I will post the opening post on each thread. I also reserve the right to shuffle around battlegroups, but this is as of now the official plan. Let’s kick some ass, Hutts!

Hutt Battle Agenda
Theater 1: Breakthrough to Yag’Dhul
Historical Information: After the Treaty of Ithor, a four-year peace reigned between the Hutt Empire and the Galactic Republic. Much to the dismay of the latter, our Empire held multiple forward positions deep in the Inner Rim, one of which was Yag’Dhul, a critical junction of the Rimma Trade Route and the Corellian Trade Spine. In the recent months, we have found it increasingly difficult to get supplies to and from Yag’Dhul, culminating in a total loss of contact within the week.
Situation: The Empire still has forces stationed on Yag’Dhul, and the Givin have proven their loyalty and willingness to join the Empire. Should contact be reestablished, we can benefit from Wayfarer Battlegroup stationed out of Yag’Dhul.
Mission Objectives: From our capital at Malastare, break through the blockade on the Rimma Route.
Expectations: Although this is an important roadblock, our strikes will catch the Republic by surprise. Estimated resistance is low to moderate.
Assigned Squadron: Akela Armada

Theater 2: Breakthrough to Iktotch and Rhommamool
Historical Information: Similar to the situation at Yag’Dhul, the planets Iktotch and Rhommamool have been cut off in an attempt to cripple our Empire. Total contact from Rhommamool was cut off two weeks ago; justifying our strike- contact with Iktotch was lost less than 24 hours ago. Iktotch is fully aware of the situation and is in wait with their two Battlegroups- Numasa and Ellos.
Situation: Iktotch has long been a forward Hutt stronghold and served as the launching ground for the Battle of Denon. We still have forces stationed there and on the relatively newly acquired Rhommamool, where the former prisoners have been trained to fight for our Empire. Opening this route will give us access to a fresh batch of commandos to use against forward strikes.
Mission Objectives: From our capital at Bothawui, break through the blockade on the Corellian Run.
Expectations: Although this is an important roadblock, our strikes will catch the Republic by surprise. Estimated resistance is low to moderate.
Assigned Squadron: Emperor’s Eyes Armada

Theater 3: Battle for Dorin
Historical Information: Located in the Expansion Region and home to the sturdy Kel Dors, Dorin is a gaseous planet with little material value. However, Dorin opens the path to deep Coreward strikes from the northern portion of the galaxy- a yet unexplored theater.
Situation: The Empire has historically stuck to battle in the Southern portion of the galaxy. Attacking a planet with low strategic value such as Dorin would not warrant a full-scale Republic defense; although it is possible they will have rapid response fleets. The Kel Dor stance on the war is as of now unclear.
Mission Objectives: From our stations in Iridonia and Ansion, maneuver to capture Dorin.
Expectations: Heavier defense is expected at Dorin than at the roadblocks of Yag’Dhul and Iktotch. The potential for planetary defense is present though not likely. Assistance from the shipyard world Bilbringi is possible. Due to the gaseous environment on Dorin, specialized training will be required- therefore, the Mandalorians and their airtight armor will be deployed along with a squadron of veteran soldiers.
Assigned Squadron: Star Raider Armada and the Mandalorian Armada

Theater 4: Battle for Taanab
Historical Information: Taanab is a newly civilized planet located in the Inner Rim and noted for its agricultural potential. Oddly diverse for a planet in our galaxy, Taanab rests on the Perlemian Trade Route, one of the two routes that intersect directly with Coruscant.
Situation: Taanab is extraordinarily close to Hutt Space and is therefore heavily guarded despite its relative unimportance. Taanab culture is an odd mix of Imperial and Republic support, meaning potential for ground-based allies is there and the utmost care should be taken in dealing with civilians.
Mission Objectives: From our base in the Roche Asteroids, capture the agricultural world of Taanab.
Expectations: Due to its high proximity to Hutt space, Taanab may be very well defended. It is predicted that planetary defense systems will be new but minimal, and the chance of a dedicated Republic fleet is high.
Assigned Squadron: High Admiral’s Armada

Theater 5: The Boz Pity Situation
Historical Information: Boz Pity is a mountainous planet and home to the Gargantelle alien species. For years, the Gargantelle have been a thorn in the side of the Empire, repelling our military advances in blatant rebellion against our Emperor. Following the freshly ended Hutt Civil War, such disobedience will not be tolerated.
Situation: The Gargantelle are large aliens who have mastered the rough terrain of Boz Pity. They have dug in tightly and will be hard to root out- extreme measures have been approved.
Mission Objectives: Gain control over the Gargantelle population.
Expectations: Although many, the Gargantelle are not particularly well armed. The trouble is in finding all of their members to regulate- guerilla warfare is expected in ground engagements. The Gargantelle have hardly any planetary defenses.
Assigned Squadron: Emperor’s Armada (Joint command- Kohsev and Tusa)

Nothing for Steel Rain Armada? :(

Yes, I know I've not been as active, though I do intend to with my Hutt Soldiers when the Skip happens.

Actually, we've got another attack in the works that will use some of our allied factions should they agree. We need actual military might, so Steel Rain can be signed up for that if you'd like.

Edit: In addition, I forgot to mention that these battles will be concurrent- they'll all launch shortly after the skip is official.

Sounds good. In curiousity, what do you want the nobles to do?

I hate the fact that admiral Marcus won't be participating in any of those battles. :CCry1

We don't want to make these starting battles too epic, otherwise the rest will just be boring.

That'll come in a thread later directed at the nobility.

Gotta have someone on the defensive fleets for this round, and a Grand Admiral is a fitting defender. Like I said, we'll alternate offense and defensive shifts, Emperor's Eyes is going to sit out next round unless there's extreme circumstances.

Have you SEEN the Hutt Roster? We got dudes out the wazoo.

Also if I am not mistaken the Hutt got more ships and troops than the Alsakans had back then.

On a side note I have a question is there going to be a ground battle in the breakthrough to Yagadul?

Part of the reason this timeline is great is that the Hutts are evil as buttsex, they have a huge number of baddies.

The breakthroughs happen somewhere along the trade routes to the planets. If they happen in deep space (in the case of the Republic using interdictors) then the ground battles might be limited to boarding actions, but if they're at a planet then it'll be a neutral planet to fight over.
