Number 10! This marks our tenth newsletter, boys and girls. With it, comes a celebratory format change with cool stuff like our Member of the Month. Why? Because we can! We're the Hutt Cartel! Criminals and gangstas alike! This is the place to come and get a quick update on what is (and has been) happening in the Cartel. First and foremost a quick introduction to the team; Insoulent and Cassanova are our Assistant Faction Leaders and are always happy to help, listen, problem solve and brainstorm! The Cartel Faction Leader is me, Hutticane Matt. Its often been said that the three of us do things that no sensible admin would allow. I'd just like to confirm that rumour as True. Anyway, importantly stuff to report… like things… and… stuff. Council Request After like… 12 months of existing we finally realised we didn't have a Council Request thread. So we made one! The Request a Council Member thread is used for getting an audience with a member of the Hutt Cartel Grand Council. This function of the Faction is not only for Cartel members, but also diplomatic parties from other Factions. So if you need an in-character meeting about something of import, head on over and post! Up, Up and Away Promotions, Rewards, etc. We'll keep selling it until you stop buying it. But instead of the usual "please go apply for a promotion", we thought we'd outline exactly what you can do to achieve your rewards!
In short, to achieve the rank of Champios/Captain and acquire a Tier I, II and III reward you need to have completed at minimum six (6) missions, and six (6) other Cartel jobs in addition to having received three (3) separate vouches from different characters. Assets

Secondly (and very importantly), its imperative that before you start this process of setting up for an Asset, you follow the steps outlined on the How Can I Add an Asset thread.
We just need to make sure that the assets are established properly and role-played out correctly. Just keeping it fair for everyone, and making sure that we, the Hutt Leadership know what's going on within our faction. So just follow the steps in that thread, and most importantly; talk to the Leadership team. We'll let you know when all things can go full steam ahead and how to proceed.

This is good news boys and girls, and we just want to say Thankyou. There aint no Cartel without you [st]scum[/st] awesome people here to [st]fluff out the roster[/st] fill our hearts with joy.
We only hope we can keep this level of activity as par, or improve even more. We are the best faction, after all.

There will be various awards and prizes handed out as the event progresses, including some assets on and off of Christophsis as well as other neat things.
This event is specifically designed to cater to all types of PC's using a plethora of differently themed threads and possible approaches to them.
Promotions!
Haha! And you guys thought we had brushed over it with the 'road to success' thing earlier on! Tricked you!
We have three surprise promotions in store for you this week. They're surprise because not even the members who we're promoting knew about it. Why'd we do it? Because these characters have done some seriously great work and earned the promotion too.
So let's clap for a moment for the success of Befallen, Pureblood-Sin, and Zay and their characters who have all been promoted from Prospects to Enforcers!
