I had been talking to Hakim and he said it was okay if I brought in a hundred ships. And I did mention I was sending back coordinates to Republic locations so I was assuming that you might guessed I was up to something. When would you be bringing in new ships and who would be calling them in? Considering that the vast majority of the ships that I've brought in are firing at the Will of the Hutts which is the flagship with the important admirals on it.

It was actually a ****-up in our command structure that caused this. Since it was mentioned to me that Bothawui's intel network would give us advanced warning of the attack, and since we'd been prepping to deploy the 13th assault fleet and a regular fleet to the outer rim area in preparation to A) Take out Jade Armada's Mygeeto stronghold and B) Launch an attack on the Hutts, I authorized the use of an assault fleet as reinforcements in that battle since I figured the fleets would be close enough to respond later on in the battle. However, I screwed up and gave it to the fighters at Denon because I'm a poopoo head.

What was -supposed- to happen is this: I authorize the reinforcements, the people in the battle thread say that they're getting reinforcements at least a full page before they got them to give plenty of heads-up, then the reinforcements come in. What happened was the magical and instant appearance of a shitload of Republic forces, plus Forces ended up in the wrong sectors, which is my fault; at most, Denon would have gotten ten or twenty ships as reinforcements, and those probably would've just been used to evacuate civilians and troops groundside. :P

Unfortunately, what happened seems to be a mild cluster****. The arrival of the fleet over Bothawui I'd say is legitimate, since they're the only world reinforcements were supposed to hit, but the arrival on Denon is a bit... Botched.

tl;dr Santoro: Since we royally ****ed up here at the Republic, I've got no complaints if you deploy reinforcements at Denon since only Bothawui legitimately received reinforcements.

Right-o. Pending the ground battle we'll probably be pulling out of Denon anyway (as we got sent downriver with two groups dropping out)- we'll see.

@Calist-

We've actually had a few people say they're joining Bothawui space with reinforcements, all of which have failed to post. I believe Gambler is about to hop in as the reinforcements.

Just curious, who's winning these battles? I only know the outcome of the Bothawai orbital battle.

I think the Republic is more or less winning in the Denon battles -and at least holding firm in the Space battle- while the Hutts are winning the fight for Bothawui.

Probably about right. I'd imagine Hutts will win Bothawui and are going to lose Denon, so.

We're all winners? :bitchez

That's pretty good. Typically in our timelines the Republic always loses most of the battles, so it's good to see that the Republic is winning some.
