Sith Order

The Sith Order, generally referred to simply as Sith, are Bogan-oriented Force users. These Dark Siders are famous for survival of the fittest mentality, mercilessness, and totalitarian crusades. After Palpatine's fall, the remnants of the Galactic Empire eventually molded into the Fel Empire which for a time was occupied by Darth Krayt. This new Sith threat nine years ago managed to take over the Fel Empire-turned-Elyurius Empire, which has recently been rechristened as the New Sith Imperium. The Imperial Knights have always fought against the forces of darkness and by taking their empire the Imperial Knights are more determined than ever to crush these Sith.

Following a savage attack which scattered and/or neutralized the bulk of IK forces, the Imperial Knights are looking for any opportunity to strike back at the Sith.

Empire

The Empire, formerly the Elyurius Empire and recently rechristened the New Sith Imperium, is a galactic empire covering a significant portion of the "Northern side" of the galaxy. The Sith managed to take over the Elyurius Empire by slaying Emperor Luthor Elyurius and infiltrate several key positions beforehand; this tragedy and massacre is generally known as the Purge. While the Imperial Knights would prefer not to damage what was once their empire, their allies, comrades, friends, the Sith have corrupted this once beautiful empire. As such, the New Sith Imperium must be crushed so that the Sith will not have forces to use against the Imperial Knights, Jedi, and Galactic Alliance as they continue the typical Sith tradition of attempting galactic hegemony. Darth Exodeus, the current Dark Lord of the Sith and Emperor, has shown to be more cruel and brutal than Darth Aevulus and Darth Judicar, believing himself as a god. He won't give the empire up easily, so the best way to deal with this situation is to injure the head is to cripple the body, the Empire. While there may be some sympathizers to the Imperial Knights in the Empire's ranks, there are too many like Grand General Lucifel and Grand Admiral Brask'ai'nuruodo who are too powerful and too loyal to turn against the Sith, catching them off guard. Instead, the Imperial Knights will instead strive to cripple imperial operations, mostly through guerrilla warfare.

Jedi Order

The (New) Jedi Order, generally shortened to just Jedi, are an Ashla-oriented Force users. Almost ascetic, these Light Siders have served and protected the Galactic Alliance for centuries. The Jedi have warred with the Sith for millennia and will be useful in crushing these new Sith blasphemers. They were once led by Grandmaster Beric Kasarun and Councilor Augustus Primus Leonus, but were forced to step down from the Jedi Council and in their self-exile eventually fell to the Dark Side. The Jedi are now led by Jhon Cordatus.

Galactic Alliance

The Galactic Alliance, sometimes simply referred to as the Alliance, is a democratic republic of thousands of star systems and a military able to match the Empire's. The Alliance and Empire have been in a state of stalemate since the Purge but recent events are pulling the Galactic Alliance into a war with the Empire. Even prior to the Purge, relations between the Imperial Knights and the Galactic Alliance plus their faithful watchdog, the Jedi, have always been poor. However, Knight-Commander Bellatrix La Rouge and Jedi Grandmaster Lecchaememnon have worked to increase relations with the Galactic Alliance, as they're needed to crush the Sith as the Sith will use the Empire to fight their wars.

Mandalorians

The Mandalorians are an honorable faction of warriors, famous for their beskar armor. Despite Mandalorian Space almost completely surrounded by Imperial Space, the Imperial Knights have not interacted much with the Mandalorians. As the Mandalorians don't exactly tend to see the Jedi well due to past experience, the Imperial Knights were lenient about starting relations with the Mandalorians. However, recently negotiations were initiated and the now the Imperial Knights and Mandalorians are allies. In some ways, both sides benefit each other. Where the Mandalorians can dominate non-Force users, the Imperial Knights can counter Force users that tend to be a bit tricky for the Mandalorians.

The Mandalorians have since been evicted from their ancestral homelands and given refuge within GA space. Whether this means they are more receptive to an alliance with the New Imperial Knights is a question up for debate.

Chiss Ascendancy

The Chiss Ascendancy, or simply referred to as the Chiss, is a highly sophisticated empire controlled by Imperator Arch'ao'nuruodo. In the past, the xenophobic empire was neutral in galactic affairs as much as possible, but Sith influence have resulted in them being more expansionist. They are currently allied with the Sith Empire, though for now, will be treated neutrally and for the time being will not be assaulted by the Imperial Knights when possible. The Sith are not fond of sharing, so most likely the Sith will turn on the Chiss eventually and it will be that time that the Imperial Knights will need to look out for and try to make the Chiss their allies, as to gain more forces against the Sith and its enslaved empire.
