Navy

The fastest way to rank up in the Navy is to demonstrate your skills in combat, be it missions, battle threads, skirmishes, or one-v-ones that you set up yourself.

- To rank up from Cadet to Pilot, a minimum of one combat thread is necessary. Cadet is the rank where you prove to us that you can participate and want to be more involved in the Imperium.

- To rank up from Pilot to Line Officer, a minimum of three combat threads are necessary. Pilot is where your proficiency and leadership on the battlefield is truly tested for the Imperium to see.

- To rank up from Line Officer to Commodore, a minimum of five combat threads where you lead a squadron of fighters or a small group of small vessels to victory is necessary. These do not necessarily have to be site organized threads, and can be done by yourself.

- Ranking up to Admiral is done on a case by case basis, please contact Rom, Omnis, or Weiss if you believe your character is ready for the rank of Admiral.

Army

The fastest way to rank up in the Army, similar to the Navy, is to demonstrate your skills in combat, be it missions, battle threads, skirmishes, or one-v-ones that you set up yourself.

- To rank up from Recruit to Private, a minimum of two combat threads are necessary. Recruit is the rank where you prove to us that you can participate and want to be more involved in the Imperium.

- To rank up from Private to Corporal, a minimum of six more combat threads are necessary. Corporal is where your proficiency and leadership on the battlefield is truly tested for the Imperium to see. There are different paths and ranks you may take, but know that going past these ranks truly takes time and dedication.

-To rank up form Corporal to Sergeant a minimum of eight more combat threads are necessary. Sergeant is where you will show leadership ability. You will find yourself in command of men, and will face the consequences of your own failures and success. Both within and without the Imperium.

- To rank up to Captain, a minimum of twelve more combat threads are necessary. Captain is the rank where your ability to command others really come into play. Unlike how most other skirmishes play out, higher ranking characters within the Army and Navy are not only able to command other player characters, but they are expected to and to do so in a manner where they do not get their friendly PCs killed. Therefore, Captain is a purposefully difficult rank to achieve.

- Ranking to Commander is done on a case by case basis. Depending on need to fill the rank and the players abilities both IC and OOC.

- Ranking up to Major or higher is done on a case by case basis and is based on a player's ability to lead in the IC as well as keep a cool head in matters of the OOC during battle threads.

If you feel your character is deserving of a promotion, please contact Weiss, Jiang Winters, or Ravensmark.

If at any time you have any questions, feel free to contact Weiss, Jiang Winters, or Ravensmark.
